I work full time, so I’m available evenings, nights, and weekends. I can house sit certain nights, can do drop ins any day of the week. I have worked with a variety of species. About: As someone who grew up in and out of vet clinics, I have a lot of experience with caring for and watching cats and dogs. At the moment, I’m working part time at different hours. I’ll be available for overnight care on weekends and before and after work hours during the week. I live in a four bedroom apartment with three roommates so I will only be able to care for pets in clients’ homes. I make sure to stimulate the pet with play and outdoor activities while also ensuring rest during hotter times of the day. Overnight, I would allow the pet to sleep in the room with me so they can feel safe and comfortable.

I have 3 dogs, ages 7-14, with varying health issues and meds, Chelsy took care that all my instructions were followed. She had a extra challenge with it being NYE and one of my boys being terrified of loud noises (fireworks, storms, etc). Highly recommend and will use again!!!”

About: Previously I’ve had 2 years of professional dog handling experience from working at dog daycare and boarding facilities. Every day, I would spend hours playing with pups of all different ages, breeds, and sizes. I worked hard to make sure they were fed (and medicated if needed), hand feeding them and sitting down with them if they were too anxious to eat in a new environment. I cared for at least 30 dogs a day, sometimes up to 60. All of them hold a special place in my heart, and I still remember over 200 names. There, I was taught the proper ways to handle and walk dogs. I was also trained on CPR in case of emergencies. Every dog I met had a different personality, so I had to learn from experience how to handle each and every one of them differently. Admittedly, I have less experience when it comes to cat care, though I did own three cats and raised two litters of them with the help of my grandparents a few years ago. Nevertheless would be an honor for me to take care of your pet, cat or dog, it’s something that I greatly enjoy doing. No matter how big, small, rough, excited, or grumpy your pet is, I would love to care for them. No accommodation is too difficult for me. I’m currently in school at LSU with morning classes, so my schedule is more suited to afternoons and evenings on weekdays. I’m completely free all day on weekends. My services are restricted to walking and home visits for the time being as I live in on-campus accommodations. I feel comfortable caring for pets who do not have a fenced in backyard.

About: I have had pets my whole life. I also worked at a pet boarding facility for a few years in high school. I have taken care of many pets and I am always respectful of each pet’s needs so that they can feel comfortable. I do currently work full-time Monday through Friday. I work 8-5 and come home at lunch to take my fur baby out. I live about 20 mins away from work and am usually back home around 5:30 pm I currently have a large dog who loves other dogs. I always take my dog out on a leash and let him walk as much as he needs. We do have a walking trail around a pond at my apartment complex. Lastly, my building is in the back away from the road so vehicles are not an issue.

About: I have 5 years of in home boarding experience as well as doing drop-in care, dog walking, and bathing. I have experience with all breeds as well as all ages. I also have experience giving pets medicine if needed. I am currently a student at LSU pursuing a Animal Sciences degree and becoming a veterinarian. My schedule is fairly flexible and am capable of doing multiple drop-in's a day. I love to do meet and greets prior to drop-in visits this way your pets know who I am and trust me for future visits. As well as getting to know you and where to find your pet's food and other necessities to properly care for your pets while you are away!
