About: I have worked as a vet assistant at an animal hospital for 3.5 years with plans to apply to the LSU vet school. I have also owned and cared for animals my whole life, including farm experience. I am currently working part time, so I don’t have many weekly hours. I also live with my fiancée who is part time as well in a two bedroom townhouse. I have an unfenced yard with plenty of grass and walking area. I have 2 very friendly medium sized dogs to keep your dogs company. I have a large kennel if needed. I am also very active and can run and walk long distance for active dogs.
“She was very patient with my cat. He is usually very friendly, but he was understandably a little frightened having been put into a new environment with a stranger. She kept open communication with me the whole time I was out of town and actively tried to become friends with him. By the end of my trip he was his usual self and being friendly with her. I would definitely let Oliver stay with Olivia again.”

“Christie was very responsive. She sent daily pics of my pup. This was my first time leaving my pup and she made me feel comfortable. I would definitely use her again in the future.”

“Elise was very professional yet warm and kind. I think our lab may have not wanted to come back home. I will definitely recommend Elise to anyone looking to get their best friend back in better condition than they were left. Will use here again in the future if she is available.”

“Bradley graciously accepted a short notice booking for our dog Ghost. He was very communicative and responsive leading up to and throughout the boarding stay. Bradley’s dog Beaux is very sweet, gentle & got along well with Ghost. We 100% recommend Bradley for boarding.”

“By far the best pet sitter I have ever had! Would recommend to any and everyone. Beetlejuice didn’t want to leave. Wonderful family and pups got along with him so well!”

“This was our dog’s 2nd stay with Amanda. As soon as I dropped her off at Amanda’s house, I could tell Marley remembered being there and was excited to be back! Amanda sends frequent updates and pictures, which really helped us not to worry about our baby while we were away. Will definitely book with her again in the future!”

“Awesome Great communication and pictures to keep informed. First time for my elder schnauzer and young doodle to stay. They did well. Lots of love, care to make them feel comfortable!”

About: I am a 2nd year student at LSU School of Veterinary Medicine in Baton Rouge. I grew up with a love for animals and decided to turn my passion into my career. I’ve taken care of many animals throughout my life, including dogs, cats, horses, and chickens. I have small animal clinic experience so I am very comfortable with giving medications, identifying signs of anxiety or pain, and providing loving care to any animal. I have 3 dogs right now that I absolutely adore and spend most of my time with. Being a veterinary student means that I get the opportunity to deal with all sorts of animals weekly. Animals bring me joy and the more I can be around them, the better! I feed my dogs twice a day and take them on daily walks. I play with them as much as I can to get their energy out and cuddle with them once they are tired out. When I dog-sit for people, I usually go to their house 3 times a day, play with them, and ensure they get enough attention and playtime. I am also comfortable with giving baths and trimming nails.

“Lyndsi was a wonderful pet and house sitter. She shared photos or a video of the pets each day while we were away along with text updates on how things were going. We were very comfortable that our pets were safe and sound while we were away for a few days. We highly recommend booking Lyndsi.”

About: I have had cats since i was a young girl. I have my very own right now named snooki 🩷 I understand some cats can be crazy or be chill and I am the best person to love and care for them ! I understand every cat has different needs and I can accommodate any!
About: I worked as a shift lead at a doggy daycare called Dogtopia for almost 4 years. I have received training on how to deal with different breeds of dogs. I have worked with a variety of breeds, ages, and sizes and have a lot of experience in training behavior. I have also dealt with up to 30 dogs in one day care room during solo shifts. I have owned a dog for 12 years back at my house in Virginia, and currently do not live with him. I am also very organized and reliable. I will always be on time or early to appointments! I currently work full-time from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. I am available to host overnight dogs and can provide walks or drop-in visits before and after my work hours. I also have greater availability on evenings and weekends, allowing me to provide reliable and attentive care for your pets. I am also available most weekends. I am very friendly with new animals and am able to learn their behaviors quickly. I am not harsh when trying to correct their behavior, but will make sure they don’t try to misbehave.

“Zoe was such a wonderful sitter for my fur babies and the photos were absolutely adorable and funny. I know they enjoyed spending time with her. I will definitely be booking her again. She made sure everything was clean and fresh before she left at let me know if there was any issues that needed to be taken care of.”

“Samantha was an excellent cat sitter, and I would absolutely book her again. She was reliable, excellent at communicating, and clearly very attentive to our kittens. While we were away, she checked in with questions when needed, confirmed details, and reassured us that everything was taken care of. She followed feeding instructions carefully, made sure both the kittens and outdoor cats were cared for, and gave the kittens plenty of love and attention. It was such a relief knowing our pets were in caring, capable hands. Highly recommend Samantha to anyone looking for a trustworthy and kind sitter!”

“Gracie came highly recommended to us and she was excellent! She treated our cats well, made them feel safe and cared for while we were away. Great communication. We will definitely be asking for her help again”

“Our dogs loved their play date with Kaitlyn! She was able to do a meet-and-greet on very short notice, too. Her first visit was just a visit for some playtime, but we hope to have her again soon!”

About: I’ve taken care of animals my whole life! Friends and family have trusted me with their animals when they‘ve gone out of town many times. I’m an Instructional Coach at a school in my district, so I won’t be home during the day unless it’s weekends or when I’m on break. During the summer though I’ll be home majority of the time. My sister lives with me and she has a dog, but they’re sweet and have their own room. I take care of pets by giving them food, water, and bathroom trips as often as needed. I also make sure to have play time with them, which is my favorite! I can make sure to give them any medicine or put them on a leash when going outside if that’s what you need.

About: Cats have always held a very special place in my heart, and caring for them is truly one of my greatest passions. I currently have four cats of my own Roxie, Blaze, Mavis, and Dart, all of whom I rescued off the streets of Baton Rouge and welcomed into my home as part of my family. Through rescuing and caring for them, I have gained experience working with cats of different personalities, temperaments, and comfort levels, including shy and fearful cats who need extra patience and understanding. As a veterinary student at LSU and an active member of the Feline Club, I am especially passionate about fear and stress free feline care. I understand how important it is to create a calm, safe, and trusting environment for cats while their owners are away. I am comfortable administering medications, monitoring behavior and health concerns, maintaining clean litter boxes, and providing individualized attention based on each cat’s needs and personality.

“Jada was absolutely fantastic! She took such wonderful care of our dogs while we were gone & made our vacation so much more enjoyable because I wasn't worrying at all! Would recommend her a million times over!”

“Amy did an awesome job. We are extremely happy with how she took care of our fur babies. She never hesitated with anything we asked of her. We will definitely ask for Amy again when go on our next trip!! ??⬛”

“Lauren has a nice house and good sized back yard to accommodate her Rover dogs. This is our first time using Lauren. She and her daughter made Meryl feel comfortable and showered her with attention and affection. Lauren had great communication with us. We had a meeting to introduce Meryl to them day before our dog sitting appointment that went very well. We want to use Lauren again soon for boarding. I highly recommend her for your dog.”

About: I pride myself in doing everything to the best of my abilities and taking care of your babies will be no different! I have over a decade of experience, you can be at ease knowing your animals will be safe and loved while you’re away. I worked at Armstrong Veterinary Clinic for 4 years, interacting with animals and clients daily. I know how to administer medicine if needed. I am 100% free during the week, your babies would get lots of snuggles and play time. I am very friendly, flexible and reliable. I think we’d be the purrrfect match 😆🐱 I am currently focusing on providing pet care full time, my schedule is open Monday-Sunday. I live, breathe, and dream about the perfect pet sitting experience for my clients. I take care of my fur babies the same way a person would their normal babies. Every morning we go for a walk and eat some breakfast before I head in. A weekly dog trip is always in the works for my two energetic fur balls
About: We live in a 2nd-floor apartment that has 12 stairs leading up to it. I have had dogs in the home since the age of 2 and been a primary caregiver for my last 3 family dogs. My partner and I both love all dogs, especially larger breeds. We are experienced in basic leash and command training, basic medication administration, and house training. We firmly believe you can never have too many dogs around and would love to host your furry family member while you are away! We have a cat named Mitties who keeps to herself and tolerates her brother Lincoln as well as his friends who visit. Lincoln has never met another pup he didn't like. He loves to play and wrestle but also knows when it's time to give his friends space. He has regular interaction with dogs of all sizes and adjusts his play style accordingly. We are available for most weekends, and most weekdays from a week-to-week basis. Isaac works from home and is almost always around during the day to supervise! Dogs can be crated if needed over night or while we are away. Our dog Lincoln does not use a crate, however, so it is not necessary if your dog doesn’t usually use one either.
“My experience with Robin was exceptional. I have used another sitter through Rover before and the experience was okay, but I noticed my puppy would come home very riled up and needing to immediately decompress. It often felt like I had to calm him down and get him back to his normal baseline. With Robin, the experience was completely different. When I picked him up, he was calm, relaxed, and acting exactly like he does at home. Even during the ride back, he settled into his crate and rested. That told me he was comfortable and well cared for during his stay. I was also a little nervous about having him around other dogs since he hasn’t spent a lot of time with other puppies. Robin was incredibly patient and reassuring. She allowed me to observe and helped me feel confident that he would be just fine, and he truly was. Another thing that stood out was how much my puppy liked her right away. As soon as he got out of the car, he was excited and curious about going inside, which meant a lot to me. I’m so glad I found Robin and truly look forward to working with her again. It’s clear my puppy felt safe and comfortable in her care.”

“I have never used a dog sitting service before so I was very nervous but Jennifer made me feel very comfortable leaving my puppy with her & he had a great time! He came home well taken care of & worn out, which was awesome. Already planning to use her services again!”

“We love Lindley and her family. Our dog has been going for almost 2 years. She has loved every minute of it. Lindley and her family treat molly as their own. Highly recommend!”

About: I have over 15 years of experience caring for dogs, including dog sitting for friends and neighbors and owning my own dog for the past six years. As a dog owner, I understand how stressful it can be when your dog is out of sight, so I closely supervise dogs at all times and do not allow off-leash activity or interactions with unfamiliar dogs. Safety and attentive care are always my top priorities. I work remotely during the day and attend school in the evenings, so I am only away from home for a short period, about three hours. This allows me to provide consistent supervision, timely walks, and attentive care throughout the day. I have a fenced yard and one dog in my home. Dogs are always closely supervised, kept on leash outside the yard, and never allowed to interact with unfamiliar dogs. Safety, structure, and consistency are my top priorities.

About: What sets me apart as a sitter is that I turned my lifelong passion for animals into my profession. As an incoming second-year veterinary student at LSU, caring for animals is more than just a job to me, it is truly what I love to do every day. I am passionate about creating a safe, loving, and stress free environment for every pet in my care and treating them with the same compassion and attention I would give my own animals. My veterinary training and hands on experience allow me to confidently care for pets of all ages, temperaments, and medical needs. I am comfortable administering medications, monitoring health concerns, recognizing signs of stress or illness, and providing attentive care for senior pets or animals needing extra support. I also understand the importance of patience, consistency, and positive interactions when caring for puppies and high energy pets. Above all, I genuinely love building trust and connections with animals. Pet care is something I intentionally prioritize within my daily and weekly routine. While I do work part time in a large animal emergency hospital, caring for animals is my passion and an important part of my life. I carefully manage my schedule to ensure that every pet in my care receives the time, attention, and consistency they deserve. I understand how important reliability and communication are when trusting someone with your pets, and I am committed to meeting each animal’s individual needs, whether that includes walks, playtime, medications, feeding schedules, or simply providing companionship and comfort while you are away. Animals are truly a central part of my life, and I treat every pet in my care with the same love, attention, and compassion that I give my own. When caring for pets in my home or a client’s home, I focus on creating a safe, comfortable, and stress free environment where they feel secure and well cared for. I understand that every animal has different routines, personalities, and needs, so I make it a priority to provide individualized care tailored to each pet. Whether that includes playtime, exercise, medications, feeding schedules, enrichment, or simply companionship and affection. I strive to ensure pets feel happy, comfortable, and loved while their owners are away. My goal is always to provide dependable, attentive, and professional care so that both pets and owners can feel confident and at ease.

About: I’ve raised my dog, Tino, since I’ve been 10! I’ve gone through all the stages from a pup to now a senior dog. I am also currently studying to become a DVM so I love all furry friends! :) I have 100+ volunteer hours at animal shelters and I currently work part time at a pet boarding facility. I’m free mostly every weekday and anytime on the weekends. I usually take pets out 3-4 times a day for potty breaks. I love every pup size and I’ll enjoy snuggling with them or running around with them! I have a fenced backyard with a super chill senior dog that would love to meet other animals. We have a very calm home so no loud noises or disruptions. I also have a crate for small to medium dogs if needed.
About: I am an animal obsessed graduate looking to fill my free time taking care of pets while I am on the hunt for a job. I’ve had my fair share of caring for dogs of all sizes and cats too! My pets are my family, and I will treat yours with the same respect. I know you want your pets left in the best care while you are away, so I am able to come do a meet and greet if preferred! Fun fact: I just went through a training program on how to better understand dog body language when they interact with other dogs and how to handle emergency situations when they arise! I am currently working part time and taking a couple courses for my Master's degree, so I have plenty of time (and energy) to care for your lovely pet. When I house sit, I will have to leave for a few hours a day for either class or work, but will spend ample time with your four-legged friend! In your home, full respect will be given to both your pets and your home. Walks and drop ins will not be spent browsing my phone, your four-legged friend has my full attention! Drop in visits can be tailored to the needs of your pet, and walks can be as active as your pup likes (I like to get those steps in). If your pup has decent leash manners and would like to take a run, I can provide that as well.
“Robin is so good with my pets and they love her. She is so nice and communicative. I feel comfort knowing she is taking care of my babies while I am at work. Thank you!”

“Shania was so communicative when my dog was being challenging. She even went the extra mile and was willing to come over and meet my dog later that day when I was home so Bonnie could warm up to her”

“Lauren and Cody were wonderful with Reggie! He was probably not ready to come home! Plenty of updates and pictures were provided. We felt confident that our sweet boy was in good hands! We would definitely use Lauren and Cody again.”

“She was a amazing cat sitter and she came back feed and ready to face the world 100/100 will try her again... The constant updated made us feel connected even when we were away.. SHE IS THE ONE!!!! Thanks for all you do..”

“Communicates well, his experience and knowledge helped me worry less about leaving Lumi for the first time. I received check-ins/update with how Lumi was adjusting. Lumi will definitely be boarding with Keith again.”

“Savannah is the best. She really takes great care of my dog. She’s everything to me. My dog’s always so happy when she comes home and that means a lot to me I couldn’t ask for a better sitter or someone to leave my dog with when I’m away, she is by far the best in my eyes”

“Bailey was great with Oliver. She answered all my questions during the meet & greet and she provided updates for him as well as photos. I was very happy to not worry about him while I was away.”

“We have been so happy with Tracy and her level of care for our toy poodle. Tracy and her kids treated our dog like she was family. I know our dog felt right at home while we were gone. I received multiple updates and pictures while we were away. We’ve booked with her twice now and will continue to use her for the future.”

“Kenya took care of our Milo for 9 days while we were out of the country. And she was so awesome with him. She often sent us updates and pictures in regards to Milo while we were so far away. I really appreciated that so much! We will certainly book Kenya again! I wish I could give her more than 5-stars.”

“Lauren accepted a last minute request to keep our Pom overnight. Lauren is always accommodating and very friendly. She treats our dog, Meryl, like she is her own. Lauren sent pics throughout her stay showing Meryl relaxed, playing outside, interacting with other dogs, and on walks. Lauren is a pro at caring for dogs.”

“This was my first experience with leaving my Olive Oyl and Johanna made it easy for me. She was very assuring and took real good care of her, sent picture and messages to help comfort me. Knowing she was in good hands made the whole situation easier. I would definitely leave her with Johanna any time. Only issue was I’m not sure Olive Oyl was ready to come home she liked it so well. Thanks Johanna”

“Mark was fantastic! I was in town visiting family that are afraid of dogs. Mark watched Cloud and provided pics of walks, which my pup enjoyed greatly. Knowing Mark will care for Cloud will make it so much easier for me to visit family in the future.”

“Hannah was great and sent lots of pictures of Keira! My only issue was not finding out about another dog being in the home until after dropping mine off which she did apologize for.”
