“Michele was great! She took excellent care of our cats and our home. She even refreshed the food for our hermit crabs. :) Will definitely book with her again if she's available!”

“Kaylee was such a delight! Shady looked so happy in all the photos she sent me, and she made sure he took all of his allergy meds the whole stay. She kept me informed and updated about him all weekend and I had peace of mind my whole vacation knowing my baby was well taken care of. I will definitely be calling her next time I go out of town!”

About: In the past 30+ years I’ve made animal care my life. I’ve worked at 2 zoos, a wildlife preserve and now I pet sit full time. It’s all I do. I love meeting new pets and their parents. My main priority is ensuring your animal is comfortable and safe while you’re away. It’s also very important that I can give peace of mind to any worried pet parents. Once I earn your pets trust, I usually gain a friend for life. That’s why I do this. 😊 I don’t just sit with your furkid. I like enrichment with toys, fetching, dispensing treats and rubbing backs and bellies. I can medicate, give insulin and prepare special diets. I’m also trained in animal first aid and can follow directions. Animal care is all I do. I have no kids. I can do daily walks up to 3 times a day. I have a variety of clients in the Baton Rouge area with different pet care needs. I make my own schedule. I stick to their usual daily routine or follow whatever instructions are left. I like to keep a consistent visit/feeding/potty time. I have a lot of patience and will encourage your pet to socialize with me. We can do whatever they like, play with toys, take walks, eat treats, rub backs or just sit together. I also water plants, check mail/paper and keep a general an eye on things.
About: I’ve parented a wide variety of animals such as chameleons, bearded dragons, and fish. I’ve cared for ages from bottle fed to senior and everything in between! I have also cared for anxious/terrified animals. I have gone through heartworm treatment with a dog start to finish, so I can administer medication! I’m typically available midday and morning but can be adjusted as needed depending on the request. Pretty flexible, full time flight student, check calendar for availability. I feed the cats and dog together in the morning then again around 6pm. They are usually self sufficient during the workday but I walk the dog in the morning (her usual loop) then around 4PM then once before bed. We play throughout the day and occasionally get churu. Dog sleeps in the kennel and cats free roam. Dog is baby gates downstairs when we aren’t home. Dog sometimes zooms outside, let her go she never goes far.
“10/10 I will be hiring David again!! I have had good and bad experiences using this app, and David is by FAR the BEST person I have hired! He sent me plenty of pictures and updates about his adventures with my dog Charlie. I knew when we was able to potty and walk. Charlie got plenty of quality time and all of his energy out on his long walks with David. Not only was David very communicative, at one point the app was not working and he sent me his number so we could stay in touch. He even went above and beyond and vacuumed up some dirt that Charlie created and left a sweet note when he left! My apartment was clean when I returned and exactly how I left it. David was punctual, professional, great at communicating, took Charlie on long walks, spent lots of time with him, and was the best sitter I have used in this app! Having a great sitter gave me so much peace of mind while I was out of town. When I came home, Charlie was so happy and calm, so I know David treated him super well!! I am so grateful I chose David and definitely recommend you choose him for your sitting needs! Thank you David ❤️”

“Karli is definitely an animal lover! She took good care of our dogs and cats and even rescued a bird that my dog got ahold of in the backyard. She kept in touch and sent a lot of pictures and videos. We will hire her again!”

“We really gave Caitlin a stress test on her first stay with our pups. I had an emergency visit to the hospital while traveling, then the big freeze came. She managed everything back home, was super flexible and accommodating, and from all the pics of happy pups she sent us throughout the trip, they didn’t even miss us that much. I’d give her six stars if that was an option!”

“Eleana was such a life saver. She was so flexible and accepted my last minute booking quickly. I received pics and updates everyday, which was wonderful. Athena was recently diagnosed with Epilepsy and we were hesitant to leave her. She received her medicine twice a day and didn’t have any issues while we were gone. I highly recommend booking with Eleana. She gave our girl lots of love.”

“Tyler was amazing! This was our first time leaving our 2 Pitt Bulls, who has to be kept separated. One highly aggressive and does not like strangers. Tyler had 9 days, a hurricane, a delayed flight, no electricity, and she kept the lines of communication open and the pictures coming. My babies were safe and happy. Both dogs fell in love with her. I will definitely use Tyler again!”

“Chelsy was very communicative, was able to accommodate a extra night last minute and I had no worries while I was gone. I have 3 dogs, ages 7-14, with varying health issues and meds, Chelsy took care that all my instructions were followed. She had a extra challenge with it being NYE and one of my boys being terrified of loud noises (fireworks, storms, etc). Highly recommend and will use again!!!”
