About: I’ve always had cats and dogs since I could remember. I’ve trained and cared for many different pets. I was the designated dog sitter in my family! I only work part time so my schedule is pretty wide! I have animals myself so I know how to make time for fur babies. I have a large fenced in back yard and a dog of my own that loves other animals. I always keep my dog on a fixed harness and leash when walking.
“David & Lauren were fantastic pet sitting our dog and cat over a long weekend!! They were very communicative and great with the animals! I would definitely recommend them to family and friends!”

“Michele did an absolutely amazing job with our cat Alfred this week! Alfred is a social cat who gets lonely easily, so we like to have someone stay in our house with him when we go away—and Michele was the perfect choice. Throughout her stay, she was communicative (sending pictures and updates each day), responsive, respectful, and completely reliable. We came back to a clean house and a very happy cat. We have already rebooked with Michele for Christmas. We cannot recommend her enough!”

“Tyler was amazing! This was our first time leaving our 2 Pitt Bulls, who has to be kept separated. One highly aggressive and does not like strangers. Tyler had 9 days, a hurricane, a delayed flight, no electricity, and she kept the lines of communication open and the pictures coming. My babies were safe and happy. Both dogs fell in love with her. I will definitely use Tyler again!”

About: I’ve been caring for animals for as long as I can remember, but I really gained hands on experience once I started college. I’m an Agricultural Science major on the pre-vet track at Southern University A&M College, so I’m around small animals and livestock almost every day. I also help care for the police and therapy dogs on campus through my internship, which has taught me a lot about behavior, patience, and safe handling. Friends, family, and neighbors have always trusted me with their pets, and I treat every animal with the same care and attention I give the ones I work with at school. Majority of my classes are online this semester so pet care fits easily into my routine, and I’m available for walks, drop-ins, and weekend care. I only care for pets in their own home. I actually prefer it because most pets feel safer and more relaxed in a space they already know. With my pre veterinary background, I pay close attention to their behavior, comfort, and routine. I follow whatever schedule you already have in place and make sure they get the same care they are used to. I keep things calm, clean, and comforting so your pet feels secure while you are away. My goal is for you to feel at peace knowing your pet is being cared for by someone who truly understands animals and loves what they do.
About: Hi! I’m Gracie. I am new to Baton Rouge and Rover, but I bring years of hands-on experience and a genuine love for every furry friend I meet. Your pet will be treated like family with me. I grew up surrounded by pets like cats, dogs, horses, chickens, and rabbits. Caring for them was, and still is a daily part of my life. From feeding and grooming to training, walking, and simply giving them love and attention, animals have always been a big part of my world. Because of that, I’m comfortable with pets of all sizes, personalities, and energy levels. I understand animal body language, I’m patient with shy or anxious pets, and I love connecting with each animal’s unique quirks. Whether your pet wants playtime, cuddles, exercise, or calm companionship, I’m here to make them feel safe and cared for. Pet care naturally fits into my daily routine because I’m already used to caring for animals every day. I plan my schedule around feeding, walks, playtime, and regular check-ins, so your pet will get consistent attention throughout the day. Whether it’s morning walks, midday potty breaks, or evening cuddle time, I make sure each pet gets the care, structure, and affection they need. I’m flexible with routines and can easily adjust to match your pet’s normal schedule. I care for pets with safety, routine, and comfort as my top priorities. I follow your pet’s normal schedule as closely as possible, keep a clean environment, and always supervise outdoor time. I can crate your dog if needed, and I’m attentive to each pet’s personality so they feel safe, calm, and at home.
“David stayed with our pets (cat and dog) for 3 weeks while we were overseas. Now, we’ve used David before (and had NO complaints), but let’s face it, 3 weeks is a long time and Australia is a long way away. David was fantastic. We received daily photos/updates and had zero concerns while away. We left lots of detailed info and ‘what if’ plans, and David’s only feedback was ‘I love lists’. He is always open to requests and specifics without complaint. We had a wonderful trip without the stress of wondering how our babies were faring. Highly recommend David for short and long-term sits. Thank you, David!”

“Tenay was fantastic! She was available last minute and saved me from having to cancel my trip. The dogs were comfortable with her and she left my house in great shape. Thank you!”

“Chelsy was very communicative, was able to accommodate a extra night last minute and I had no worries while I was gone. I have 3 dogs, ages 7-14, with varying health issues and meds, Chelsy took care that all my instructions were followed. She had a extra challenge with it being NYE and one of my boys being terrified of loud noises (fireworks, storms, etc). Highly recommend and will use again!!!”
About: I have always had animals, especially dogs growing up. I have experience with senior dogs as we have one at present. A part schnauzer, "Betty" who is very spoiled. We have been boarding/pet sitting dogs for about 3 years now. We have a very large yard, total of 7 acres, with a large portion of it fenced in. They have plenty of room to roam amd will get play time often as my children love dogs also. Someone is always at home so your furbaby wont be alone much if at all. We would love the opportunity to meet and love your fur baby and thank you for considering us. I work part time nights and my teenage daughter is homeschooling so someone is always at home. We are a very physically active household so your furbaby will get lots of play/walk time if needed. I have a large fenced yard and one indoor dog that will keep your dog company. If your furbaby needs to be crated at night we can do that but most usually just sleep with the kids or on the couch.

“Karli stayed at my house and took care of my dog while I was out of town, and she did an absolutely amazing job. She treated my home with respect and my dog with so much love and attention. I received regular updates and photos that gave me total peace of mind the entire time I was away. My dog was calm, happy, and clearly well-cared for when I got back—which is all I can ask for! I will definitely book her again. Highly, highly recommend!”
