About: I’ve dog sat for friends and family in the past 2 years and I’ve loved the experience. Happy to provide references and chat more about my experience. My best friend lives on my floor and we take walks with his dog every morning and evening so it’s very well incorporated in my schedule I make my place conducive for pets since I have one visit often. No cords laying around, vacuumed floors and room temperature thermostat. This also applies to client apartments

About: I’ve always loved animals- growing up I had both cats and dogs, and currently have a senior cat of my own. I also foster dogs of all breeds, personalities, and needs through a local shelter. I’ve pet-sat both in my home, and in others’ homes, throughout my life, and have experience caring for animals post-op, with semi-complex medical needs, and basic training techniques, using positive reinforcement and praise. With your pets in my care, I can assure you that they will get all the love and attention that they deserve, everything that they need, and from day 1 they will be cared for as if they were my own. I am available for overnight care in your home, drop-in walks/ play-time/ potty breaks, and daycare in your home. Unfortunately, am not available for boarding or daycare in my home. However, I’m more than happy to take your pet on a day-long outing out in nature, or around the city. I am available for recurring walks, drop-ins, house sits, and one-off bookings on an as-needed basis, with a minimum of 48 hours notice ahead of time. My goal is to always fit seamlessly into your and your pet’s life, but due to pre-existing commitments, I can’t accommodate on-demand services. Every pet I take on, I care for as if they are my own. I strive to provide consistent communication about how they’re doing, what activities we engaged in during our time together, and am mindful to tailor my communication to your needs, so frequency of communication that meets your specific needs will be discussed at our meet and greet. Any concerns that I may have about your pet will be communicated promptly.

About: I've done pet sitting for friends and neighbors for over 20 years as well as fostering dogs and cats for Oakland Animal Services among other organizations. I have extra experience and education with senior and under-socialized cats. I primarily work as a personal trainer in San Francisco a few mornings a week and often have extra free time in the afternoons, evenings and when clients travel. I can't think of a better use of free time than spending it with dogs and cats while making sure they get the care they need. I love to travel and I know what a huge relief it is to have my pets well taken care of when I'm away. I know routines are very important and comforting to animals as well as their people so I will always strive to follow instructions as closely as possible. I will provide a recap of each visit including photos unless you opt out.

“Lauren was awesome! I felt totally comfortable with my dog spending time with them while I was out of town, and was grateful for this as this was Tuna's first time being walked by a stranger. Thank you, Lauren!”

Chelsea E.
“Between Chelsea’s meticulous attention to detail and her love for pups and all things with toe beans and fur, she is the perfect person to trust your beloved four-legged friend with. She has a knack for reading a dog’s body language, understanding the way a dog/dogs process and deal with their surroundings and stimulus, and for making a dog feel extra loved and special. Chelsea will let your dog sniff every single rock and blade of grass on their walk, as well as make sure they stay hydrated and don’t get too hot in the Florida sun. Trust your pups with Chelsea.”
