“Sianna has been a great help with buddy! He’s a nervous guy and she was kind enough to work with us before moving forward so he had a smooth transition and he got used to her very quickly! She’s well versed in animal behavior and very professional. I’m so glad we found her.”

“Wonderful! They had to come back early because of a potential loose dog. But we were very impressed and happy Kyle put our dog first with his safety since he is dog reactive.”

“RELIABLE. Forget that her customer SVC and response times are outstanding, she is the most important thing a dog walker must be as a basis- reliable. Our family is so fortunate.”

About: What sets me apart is my hands-on experience with dogs at every stage of life. I’ve raised a family dog from a puppy, fostered and helped train seeing eye puppies, and have experience with dogs who need extra patience and consistency. I also fostered—and ultimately adopted—our current dog, so I truly understand the commitment and care pets need to feel safe and loved. Because of this, I’m comfortable with puppy routines, basic training reinforcement, and providing a calm, supportive environment for dogs with different personalities and needs. I treat every pet like they’re my own and focus on making them feel happy, secure, and well cared for while you’re away. As a teacher on summer break, I have a very open and flexible schedule. If they’re staying with me, they’ll be treated like part of the family. I make sure they have a safe, relaxed space, plenty of playtime, and also time to just chill. I’ll also send updates and pictures so you know how they’re doing while you’re away 😊
About: I have owned many dogs since I was little. I have always been responsible with their health and making sure they are taken care of on the daily. My furry loved one will always go on adventures with me to include hiking, camping, backpacking, swimming so they are never left alone. I have completed dog training through sit- means- sit to help my current rescue Maxx with his separation anxiety and for me to become a better dog. owner I work full time from 7am to 3 pm Monday- Friday. I work 5 minutes from my home and on occasion can swing by to check on a furry friend if needed. I have a decent sized secured fenced in yard for your fur pup to run around in. While they are inside I have 3 levels with plenty of space for them the lounge about. Also room to put a crate if needed.

About: Animals have been my life since before I could walk! I've cared for all sorts of animals in all life stages, and I've worked in pet retail, pet care, and more recently in beginner vet care! I do best with older dogs but I can handle puppies and seniors, and I can administer medications from pills to insulin injections! I have my own pets, so what's the harm in caring for a few more? Given proper advance notice, I will fit your furry friends into my schedule and make sure they get the best care possible! Going away and leaving your best friends behind can be scary and nerve-wracking! I prefer visiting your home when caring for your pets, as it's an environment your animal has already established as a safe place! As a fellow pet parent, I'm happy to say that I'm very much a helicopter pet-sitter. If I notice anything slightly off I will never hesitate to let you know! It's always better to be safe than sorry. I will use my experience in the pet care and vet field to make sure your loved one is safe and happy while you're away!

I focus on providing calm, reliable, and attentive care tailored to each dog’s personality and needs. I prioritize safety, consistency, and positive interactions during every walk or visit so pets feel comfortable and secure.😊 I’m currently working part-time as a registered nurse. I have plenty of time and energy to spend with your pets! I offer a flexible and reliable walking schedule to fit your dog’s needs and routine. I’m available for morning, midday, and evening walks, including recurring daily or weekly visits. About: I’ve been around animals all my life, & I can’t wait until I’m in a situation when I can finally have my own dog again. I’m knowledgeable about pet care & animal behavior, have great attention to detail, & enjoy learning more. I love every critter I meet (although I am partial towards chihuahuas & pits) & I have yet to meet a dog that didn’t like me. My family always had dogs growing up, & I have experience caring for a variety of dogs of different ages. I’ve only had two pet dogs that went through their entire life cycle with me, & my most recent doggo was a shitzu who came to me when she was 11. I spent her last few years trying to make her as comfortable & happy as possible. That’s the goal for every animal I care for. While this is obviously a job, & I do need the money, I genuinely enjoy getting to be helpful, to make someone’s life easier, & to, of course, spend time with dogs. I figure if I have to have a side hustle, it should at least be rewarding!! Thanks for reading!! I am a waitress- I usually work full-time, but it’s the slow season & we have a server surplus at the moment. I’m currently only scheduled for 3 night shifts a week, so my schedule is pretty open. Even on the days I do work, I would be able to check-in & care for the dogs before I go in, & can check on them afterwards as well if needed. Basically, I currently have plenty of time to fit in pet care. I am comfortable staying at someone else’s place; it would be nice to have a change of scenery every once in a while. Of course, I will treat your house with respect & be sure to leave it as it was when I arrived! If they wanna chill & sleep, that’s fine with me, but if they’re really active & need to play, I will play fetch & tug-o-war for hours on end. I have a car & supplies to take care of a dog if it is needed (snacks, poop bags, leash, blankets, first aid kit). I’m familiar with dog breeds & behavior & am aware of different training techniques so I’m not worried about being able to manage any dog- like getting them in their crate at the end of the night, or establishing a relationship with them, etc. I will care for your pet the way you want, but above all I will always care for an animal with the utmost respect & love, 💕

About: Hi! My name is Julia, and I have loved animals for as long as I can remember. I have owned both dogs and cats since I was a child, so caring for pets has always been a natural and important part of my life. I have several years of experience with dog sitting and house sitting, and I understand how important it is to know your pets and home are in caring, trustworthy hands. I love all pets and enjoy getting to know each animal’s unique personality, routine, and needs. Whether your pet loves long walks, playtime, cuddles, or just a calm companion nearby, I will make sure they feel safe, loved, and well cared for while you are away. I am dependable, attentive, and respectful of each family’s home and pet care preferences. I would be happy to care for your furry family member and give them the same love and attention I would give my own pets! Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine because caring for animals has always been a part of my life. I’m used to planning my day around feeding times, walks, playtime, litter box care, check-ins, and making sure pets feel comfortable and safe. I enjoy having pets as part of my routine, whether that means starting the day with a walk, stopping by for a midday visit, or spending quiet time with a cat who just wants company nearby. I’m dependable and flexible, and I understand that pets do best when their normal schedule is followed as closely as possible. I’m happy to adjust my routine to match each pet’s needs, whether they need extra attention, medication reminders, playtime, or just someone calm and caring to keep them company while their family is away. I care for pets with patience, respect, and attention to their normal routine. In a client’s home, I follow all instructions carefully, including feeding schedules, walks, litter box care, medications or special needs, favorite toys, and any house rules. I know pets feel safest when things stay familiar, so I do my best to keep their routine calm and consistent while their family is away. I also treat every home with care and respect. I make sure doors are locked, food and water are refreshed, litter boxes or pet areas are kept clean, and pets are safe before I leave. I pay close attention to each pet’s behavior, comfort level, and personality, whether they are playful, shy, energetic, independent, or need a little extra reassurance. My goal is for pets to feel safe, loved, and comfortable, and for owners to feel confident knowing their pets and home are in trustworthy hands.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
