A pipe froze and burst while I was out of town and she took immediate action when she discovered the flooding in my home. She called the county water authority to have them assess the issue, ensured the main was turned off, and even brought water from her own home for my cats since there was no longer running water at my house. She offered her time and flexibility since she was local and I was out of state, and I am so grateful yo her. I could not have asked for a better person to be there. Thanks so much Mariah!”

About: Hi! My name is Makayla, and I absolutely love animals. Whilst your pet is under my care, they will always be in caring, loving, and attentive hands. I understand that pets are family, and I treat every animal with the same kindness and patience I would want for my own. I grew up around dogs, as my godmom had several different breeds over the years! Being around them helped me learn how different each dog’s personality can be and how important it is to pay attention to their individual needs. While my experience started with family pets, I’m excited to continue building my experience and meeting new furry friends along the way! My goal is to make sure every pet feels comfortable, safe, and happy while in my care. Owners can expect clear communication, reliability, and regular updates with photos so you always know how your pet is doing. I’m currently working part time, and my schedule is kinda all over the place! However, I know my schedule at least week ahead of time, so I definitely would appreciate strong communication so we can figure out the perfect day & time thay your pet needs supervision. I am not allowed to pet sit at my current location. I am willing to move around as long as it is local. I currently don’t have a car, so mostly I will be walking. About: I’ve owned cats and dogs my entire life. I currently own two standard Goldendoodles and foster cats/kittens for the Hero Rescue. I have been an animal lover since I was a small child. I have patience with pets that need some time adapting to a new person in their area. I work full time so pets that are crate trained would work best for boarding in my home. If you would rather me come for drop ins I can stay and make sure they are fed, have water, get play time, and plenty of love while I’m there. Dogs in my home would have a fenced in yard for supervised potty breaks and play time. I also have enough space to throw a ball/toy for fetch inside for extra exercise. They would have my 2 Goldendoodles for company but any boarders would need to be crate trained so I don’t have to worry about them getting into anything while I’m at work. I also have cameras in my home so I can check in on everyone throughout the day. Drop ins would get attention, love, and play time while I’m at your home with them.

I’m flexible in this way and can rearrange my schedule in any way needed. I prefer to care for your pups in your own home, so that they can feel comfortable in their own environment. In terms of drop-ins and walks, I will always make sure to work with you to schedule a time where the weather (heat especially) is safe for your dog.

About: A lot of my clients and friends call me the animal whisperer because I have yet to met an animal that doesn't like me. I have grown up with animals, specifically dogs, all my life. Growing up with animals has made me realize that your pet is very much a part of the family so I treat each and every pet as if it were my own - with love and care. Animals have shown me the meaning of unconditional love without judgment. I work from home so I’m pretty flexible and pretty much make myself available for your pet. I especially love having an excuse to get out of the house to take care of your adorable furry pet :) I’m pretty good at handling multiple pets at once and can hold my own. I’ve handled walking multiple pets on leashes at the same time. I’ve handled a house full of pets. I watch them and give them the love they need while I’m with them :) no animal or animal task is too difficult for me.

That said, I did notice an excessive amount of food left in their trays, which suggests my written instructions may not have been entirely clear or closely followed. Next time, I would definitely provide a step-by-step walkthrough of their feeding routine to ensure everything is as straightforward as possible. Overall, I’m thankful for the peace of mind while I was away.”
