“Kaylee was superb 🥰 very nice Loved our dog 🐕 and which meant a lot she made sure he was well taken care of and made it a point to bound with him. Would highly recommend Kaylee and hope she will be available again. She always posted pictures and was always on time even on a bad weather day she was there 🤗💜”

“Ann made Darla‘s first visit with her very pleasant and comfortable. She’s the perfect person for our little Darla. We know she’s in good hands in Ann’s care.”

“I cannot say enough great things about Kara! She is WONDERFUL with my 2 boys and step brothers dog! I don’t trust just anyone with my dogs and the day she came to meet them I knew I could trust her! My boys are very stubborn, high energy, and not always the best off leash, and she got them to listen and they looked so happy with all of the pictures/videos she sent me during the drop in visits (crazy dog mom here, I like lots of pics of my babies while I’m gone)”
About: I have cared for dogs for the past two years. I have stayed in other houses previously. I have owned dogs since I was born. I currently have a chocolate lab and a golden retriever. I love dogs of all sizes big and small. I current work in a school so a lot do my time lined up with the school calendars! I would have the most time during weekends to spend with your pets. I am flexible but prefer to care for your pets at your home where they are most comfortable! I would love to take them for drives to different parks or walking areas as well!
“Kyle is THE ABSOLUTE best care giver for my senior Chihuahua. He is the one you want to care for your fur babies when you cannot. Please contact Kyle, you will be thrilled with his level of care for your pets.”

“Once again, Alissa was amazing. We have two new kittens who are just beginning to have full access to the house. Alissa was flexible in adjusting her visits. She came a week or so before our trip to get acquainted with the cats. Alissa is very responsive to messages and arrives promptly. Highly recommend booking her!”

“Mason was exceptional. She allowed me to book her literally last minute and said she could visit the pups without me home (emergency work trip). She was prompt and took great care of my pups, asking me any questions she had to best care for them. She sent me plenty of pics and the pups loved her!”

About: I have watched over many of my friends and families pets. The dogs I have watched in the past have been moderately large, and could be a bit wild at times but I was able to keep hold of the situation. I have also accompanied my family and friends when they had taken care of pets for other families. I had helped train a very wild pup for a friend, as well as a basic command which was sit. I absolutely love animals and even went to a program in high school for them. I am currently free during most times of the week. I am currently attending HCC, my classes being on Monday and Wednesday and do not stretch late into the day. I am very available to watch your pups or kitties! I can come during the mornings or evenings during the week depending on the day. I am also available to house sit. I care for them by learning their needs and wants first in their home. I understand every animal is unique and needs to be cared for in a way that works for them. I listen to the owner to ensure that everything will be safe and cared for in their absence.

About: I have over 30 years of experience caring for dogs and have developed a deep understanding of their behavior, needs, and personalities. Throughout the years, I’ve cared for dogs of many breeds, sizes, and temperaments. In addition to my own hands-on experience, I’ve interacted with countless other dogs through my clients, family, and friends. This extensive exposure has strengthened my ability to recognize canine body language, build trust with dogs, and provide compassionate, reliable care. I take pride in treating every dog as if it were my own, ensuring they feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for. My wife and I have proudly owned and operated a successful handyman and cleaning business for the past 20 years. During that time, we’ve built our reputation on honesty, reliability, hard work, and exceptional customer service. We’ve enjoyed helping our clients care for their homes and have formed many lasting relationships along the way. As we look toward the next chapter of our working lives, we’re excited to transition into something we’re truly passionate about caring for pets. Animals have always been an important part of our lives, and we look forward to spending our later working years doing what we love. With decades of experience caring for dogs and other pets, along with the same dedication and dependability that made our business successful, we’re committed to providing loving, trustworthy care that gives pet owners peace of mind while they’re away. When you trust us with your dog or cat, you can be confident they’ll be treated like a member of our own family. We understand that every pet is unique, and we’re happy to accommodate special requests whenever possible, whether it’s sticking to a specific routine, providing extra playtime, or giving them the extra attention they need to feel comfortable. Above all, one thing you can always count on is that your pet will be cared for with genuine love, kindness, and compassion. Our goal is to make them feel safe, happy, and loved while you’re away, so you can have complete peace of mind knowing they’re in caring and dependable hands.
About: I've always been the person friends and family trust to look after their pets. I know how important it is to have someone dependable caring for them when you can't be there. Whether it's going for walks, keeping them on their feeding schedule, giving them lots of attention, or administering oral medication when needed, I'm happy to make sure they're comfortable and well cared for. I take the time to get to know each pet's personality and routine because no two pets are the same. My goal is for your pet to feel relaxed and for you to have peace of mind while you're away. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine because I work from home, which gives me the flexibility to provide plenty of attention, potty breaks, walks, playtime, and companionship throughout the day. I can easily stick to your pet's routine and make sure they don't spend long periods alone. My weekday schedule is very flexible, while my weekend availability is a bit more limited, so I recommend reaching out in advance for weekend bookings. When I'm caring for pets in their own home, my priority is keeping their routine as normal as possible. I know pets are most comfortable in a familiar environment, so I make sure they're fed on schedule, have fresh water, get plenty of potty breaks, exercise, playtime, and, of course, lots of love and attention. I will follow any specific instructions you leave to make sure your pet receives the care they're used to. I also believe communication is important, so I'll send regular updates and photos so you can relax knowing your pet is happy and doing well. I treat every home with respect and every pet like they're part of my own family, making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for until you return.
“We have a German Sheppard, and we are precautions with new people meeting her but Elizabeth did amazing! Our dog immediately liked Elizabeth and started playing with her. Elizabeth also eased our mind by having experience with dominant breeds.”

“I have been using for a couple of times now. She is 💯 reliable and I can always count on her to giving loving far to my cat Rin. I wanted a sitter that can give lots of cuddles and love in addition to providing care ( cleaning litter, water etc). She is the person.”

“Theresa was great! The meet and greet went really smoothly, and really reassured me that I was leaving our cats in good hands. Theresa offered great help in checking in, feeding, and maintaining a clean environment for our cats while we were gone for a week. She was readily available to talk to and I'd happily request her again for future trips!”

About: I’ve been taking care of pets since I was 8. I’ve had guinea pigs, dogs, and a rabbit. My family currently has one rabbit, Thumper. He is the best! We also have three wonderful dogs…two English cream golden retrievers, Remi and Raven, and a spunky beagle named Snoopy! I was a teacher for 24 years and now I work in a school library. I’m trying to make some extra money on the side. I started doing some dog walking this summer and have truly enjoyed it! I love being outside and taking walks with the pups! I’m available after 4 p.m. and at night too, during the school year. On the weekends, my schedule is very flexible. Since I work for the school system, my schedule is much more open in the summer time, if you need any help! I can take your dog for a walk, so they can get some exercise. I can also stay and play with them! Happy to send pictures and updates too!

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Aberdeen
Excellent care, compassion, dedication, dependability, observant, and very friendly, that’s Samantha. She took care of our 17+ year old cat for a full week while we out of state. We didn’t have to worry about anything. Samantha provided great communications, kept us informed daily on everything, from feeding, litter-box, cat behavior, etc, and sent daily photos. Samantha took care of everything and questioned anything that might be of a concern to us. For example, with all the rain, we had some very tiny ants finding their way in for shelter, but went to the cat food. We probably wouldn’t have noticed, but Samantha did. She quickly notified us, emptied, cleaned and washed water and food bowls, plus the tray underneath, then refilled them fresh and relocated a few feet away. Continued by washing that floor area, and put a Terro ant bait trap (pet friendly) that we had at that location. Sent photos of everything being done, and rechecked all was well on next visit and gave us updates. Samantha is very conscientious and observant with great communications. We always knew what was going on, and knew if any issue came up, she would react quickly and take care of it. Made our trip pleasant knowing we didn’t have to worry about anything. Very pleased with Samantha’s efforts and dedication in providing the best care. Highly recommend her, plus our cat found her very likable too. He normally hides from others, but not with Samantha. Location wise, Samantha lives in Bulle Rock, our same community, so it was like having a dependable close friendly pet care professional next door. We will definitely use her again.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
