About: I’ve owned cats and dogs my entire life. I currently own two standard Goldendoodles and foster cats/kittens for the Hero Rescue. I have been an animal lover since I was a small child. I have patience with pets that need some time adapting to a new person in their area. I work full time so pets that are crate trained would work best for boarding in my home. If you would rather me come for drop ins I can stay and make sure they are fed, have water, get play time, and plenty of love while I’m there. Dogs in my home would have a fenced in yard for supervised potty breaks and play time. I also have enough space to throw a ball/toy for fetch inside for extra exercise. They would have my 2 Goldendoodles for company but any boarders would need to be crate trained so I don’t have to worry about them getting into anything while I’m at work. I also have cameras in my home so I can check in on everyone throughout the day. Drop ins would get attention, love, and play time while I’m at your home with them.
“Ann made Darla‘s first visit with her very pleasant and comfortable. She’s the perfect person for our little Darla. We know she’s in good hands in Ann’s care.”

“Once again, Alissa was amazing. We have two new kittens who are just beginning to have full access to the house. Alissa was flexible in adjusting her visits. She came a week or so before our trip to get acquainted with the cats. Alissa is very responsive to messages and arrives promptly. Highly recommend booking her!”

“Mason was exceptional. She allowed me to book her literally last minute and said she could visit the pups without me home (emergency work trip). She was prompt and took great care of my pups, asking me any questions she had to best care for them. She sent me plenty of pics and the pups loved her!”

About: I have been surrounded by dogs my whole life, and I got my first dog at 16. My dog is a mastiff mix, who was unfortunately a covid puppy, leaving her with little socialisation, causing her to be reactive around other animals. We have both been learning from each other everyday and I have been working with and training her since she was a puppy. Throughout the years she has gotten much more confident in herself; even having dog friends now and a younger puppy sister. I have also worked with senior dogs, adminstering medication as needed and helping assist with activities. I have worked with other animals as well, of all different sizes, so I am confident in my ability to read body language and take care of the dogs as needed I am a full-time college student, who is working part-time, and with a chaotic schedule, finding a job for a business is difficult due to my availibilty. I have several animals of my own, making spending time and taking care of them the highlight of my day. I love and treat animals just as the family they are, so when working with others animals, it feels like more of a reward than a job, which I feel is crucial when being a full-time college student and trying to make a living. All of my animals are family and are treated as such, so when taking care of others dogs, I treat them with the same mindset; providing care, love, fun and respect.
About: I’ve been taking care of pets since I was 8. I’ve had guinea pigs, dogs, and a rabbit. My family currently has one rabbit, Thumper. He is the best! We also have three wonderful dogs…two English cream golden retrievers, Remi and Raven, and a spunky beagle named Snoopy! I was a teacher for 24 years and now I worked in a school library for the past 4 years. I’m trying to make some extra money on the side. I started doing some dog walking/sitting during the summer of ‘25 and have truly enjoyed it! I love being outside and taking walks with the pups or just playing with them inside! I’ve also taken care of cats too. I love spending time with animals! I’m available after 4 p.m. and at night too, during the school year. On the weekends, my schedule is very flexible. Since I work for the school system, my schedule is much more open in the summer time, if you need any help! I can take your dog for a walk, so they can get some exercise. I can also stay and play with your pet! Happy to send pictures and updates too!
“Lacey was amazing. My dogs felt loved and was given the space they needed to play, cuddle, and or stand back and observe. She followed all my instructions and even stayed longer than she had to just to make sure my babies were okay. I cannot express the gratitude I feel. It was very scary leaving my babies in the care of a stranger, but they loved Lacey and she truly treated them as her own.”

Currently have a senior citizen bulldog and a cane corso pup - so I'm well versed with the needs of animals both young and old. Currently working part time but have a flexible schedule to meet the needs of your furry friends.I love taking mine on walks and playing in the house as needed. I take the health and well being of my animals very seriously. They get regular walks and attention throughout the day. Also I take care of my senior dog who requires scheduled oral medication and extra care with various surfaces.

“Colleen is an exceptional sitter. Her expertise and trustworthiness make her the perfect choice. Knowing our pet and house are well cared for allows us to enjoy our time away knowing everything is in good hands. I will always book Colleen for future trips.”

“We felt comfortable trusting our cats with Emily immediately after meeting her. She is very pleasant and thorough. She was also very accommodating adjusting our dates due to illness on our end. We will absolutely book her again!”

“Aria was amazing! She took such good care of our puppy and still made sure our older dogs got plenty of love and attention too. She kept in touch with great communication, which I really appreciated. Everyone was happy and relaxed when we got home. Definitely booking with her again!”

About: Hi! I’m a passionate animal lover with hands-on experience working in veterinary hospitals and doggy daycare settings. I’ve learned how to safely handle dogs and cats with all kinds of personalities, energy levels, and needs. I also have a strong interest in pet nutrition and overall wellness, which helps me pay attention to the little details that keep pets healthy and happy. Animals have always been a big part of my life, and I truly love getting to know each pet’s unique personality. Whether it’s going for walks, playing, keeping up with routines, or just spending time giving them attention and comfort, I always treat every pet like they’re my own. My goal is to make sure your pet feels safe, relaxed, and cared for while you’re away—and to give you peace of mind knowing they’re in good hands. I’d love the chance to meet you and your pet! I'm a full-time college student, so I have a pretty flexible schedule! I can do same day walks/sittings, and I love to take care of animals whenever I can! I treat every animal like they are my own. This is something that is super important to me - treat every animal how you want to be treated, or how you'd treat your own!
“We have a German Sheppard, and we are precautions with new people meeting her but Elizabeth did amazing! Our dog immediately liked Elizabeth and started playing with her. Elizabeth also eased our mind by having experience with dominant breeds.”

“Christine took wonderful care of my 3 cats and she kept me informed about their daily activities. These were drop-in visits to my home for 16 days while I was on vacation. Would definitely use her again.”

I operate with a genuine love for all all animals and have a history of community service and donations to animal shelters and causes. I have been a cat owner for over 12 years and currently have one senior cat. When it comes to cat care, my extensive experience and commitment to feline companionship shine through. I am detail-oriented, ensuring that your pets get the care and attention they are accustomed to, including medication management, grooming, and in-home care. I am proactive in communication and am also highly responsive, giving pet-owners piece of mind. But that's not all – my versatility extends to caring for dogs as well. I bring the same level of dedication and expertise to canine companions, ensuring they receive the love and attention they deserve. I have a one-level home with hard wood floors (for easy cleanup) and pet-proof furniture. I do not let animals outside unattended so if you have a cat that likes to wander outside, I will not be comfortable allowing that
About: I have watched over many of my friends and families pets. The dogs I have watched in the past have been moderately large, and could be a bit wild at times but I was able to keep hold of the situation. I have also accompanied my family and friends when they had taken care of pets for other families. I had helped train a very wild pup for a friend, as well as a basic command which was sit. I absolutely love animals and even went to a program in high school for them. I am currently free during most times of the week. I am currently attending HCC, my classes being on Monday and Wednesday and do not stretch late into the day. I am very available to watch your pups or kitties! I can come during the mornings or evenings during the week depending on the day. I am also available to house sit. I care for them by learning their needs and wants first in their home. I understand every animal is unique and needs to be cared for in a way that works for them. I listen to the owner to ensure that everything will be safe and cared for in their absence.
“I’m grateful to have returned home to happy and healthy cats, which I truly appreciate. It’s clear they were well cared for in my absence. That said, I did notice an excessive amount of food left in their trays, which suggests my written instructions may not have been entirely clear or closely followed. Next time, I would definitely provide a step-by-step walkthrough of their feeding routine to ensure everything is as straightforward as possible. Overall, I’m thankful for the peace of mind while I was away.”

Theresa was amazing. While I was out of the country for ten days she came by each day and not only cared for my cat Salem but took the time to give him so pets and snuggles allowing him to warm up to her. She gave me daily updates with pictures and was easy to communicate with. I will be using her in the future as well!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
