Pet care experience

Your pet’s reliable caregiver 💕

I’ve loved animals my entire life. When I was 8 years old, I begged my mom for a dog — and that’s how my journey began with my first Rough Collie (a Lassie dog). I grew up with dogs, cats, and rabbits, and have provided pet care for neighbors and friends for many years. I spent years watching AKC dog shows and learning about breeds and behavior, along with educational programs like "It’s Me or the Dog." I’ve also trained my own dogs to follow cues such as sit, stay, wait, lay down, spin, and more using positive reinforcement. I am a caring, patient, and empathetic person who treats every pet as if they were my own. Whether I’m caring for dogs or cats, I focus on keeping them safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. I am originally from Pennsylvania, where my collie still lives with my mom. We lost our sweet Lily on May 23, 2023 ❤️ She meant the world to me, and her memory is a big part of why I care so deeply for every pet I meet. I completed the GoodPup Virtual Dog Training Program (2025), focused on positive, force-free training methods.

My doggies were in love with Erica! She provided so many photos, and I could tell they were having the times of their lives with her! I would trust her with the care of my pets anytime! Highly recommend! She also cleaned up the messes when my Woody was very persistent and creative with escaping his crate 😂

Erica was truly beyond incredible—hands down the best dog sitter we’ve ever had for our two golden retrievers. From the moment we left, it was clear how genuinely loving and attentive she was; our dogs absolutely adored her. She went far above and beyond by sending frequent photo updates (without being asked), which gave us so much peace of mind and showed just how happy and comfortable they were. She stayed with them nearly the entire time, treating them like her own, and it made all the difference. You can’t fake that level of care—it was obvious in every interaction and update. We would recommend Erica to anyone without hesitation and will 100% be using her again.

Erica was fantastic. She was very attentive and prepared during our meet and greet. She sent notes before our trip that we could edit together. During the stay she was in constant communication. It was so nice to know our dog was in such great care for our first extended time away from her. We are so thankful for Erica and will definitely be using her again. I highly recommend her.

My wife and I travel at a minimum every 2 to 3 months. Whether a 5 day or 2-week trip, Erica has made our planning those trips extremely easy. Knowing the pups and our home are being cared for with the highest care and respect is very comforting.
