About: Growing up I was always involved with the care and grooming of my mother's AKC American Cocker spaniel kennel and quickly fell in love with dogs. I've helped deliver 3 liters of puppies ensuring every fine detail of the process was done properly. I've assisted and led many rescue missions for strays and wildlife. I currently care for three rescue rabbits Layla, Monty, Zuko and one beagle/JackRussell mix, Copper. I'm lucky to have all my pets in my life and they truly enrich our lives for the better. I currently accepted a new job opportunity therefore my schedule is a little odd right now but message me and we can work out the details there. on a leash/harness or lead line in the yard. I do walks and or hikes- weather permitted. Allow outside with supervised fenced in playtime with toys

About: I’ve been around animals all my life, & I can’t wait until I’m in a situation when I can finally have my own dog again. I’m knowledgeable about pet care & animal behavior, have great attention to detail, & enjoy learning more. I love every critter I meet (although I am partial towards chihuahuas & pits) & I have yet to meet a dog that didn’t like me. My family always had dogs growing up, & I have experience caring for a variety of dogs of different ages. I’ve only had two pet dogs that went through their entire life cycle with me, & my most recent doggo was a shitzu who came to me when she was 11. I spent her last few years trying to make her as comfortable & happy as possible. That’s the goal for every animal I care for. While this is obviously a job, & I do need the money, I genuinely enjoy getting to be helpful, to make someone’s life easier, & to, of course, spend time with dogs. I figure if I have to have a side hustle, it should at least be rewarding!! Thanks for reading!! I am a waitress- I usually work full-time, but it’s the slow season & we have a server surplus at the moment. I’m currently only scheduled for 3 night shifts a week, so my schedule is pretty open. Even on the days I do work, I would be able to check-in & care for the dogs before I go in, & can check on them afterwards as well if needed. Basically, I currently have plenty of time to fit in pet care. I am comfortable staying at someone else’s place; it would be nice to have a change of scenery every once in a while. Of course, I will treat your house with respect & be sure to leave it as it was when I arrived! If they wanna chill & sleep, that’s fine with me, but if they’re really active & need to play, I will play fetch & tug-o-war for hours on end. I have a car & supplies to take care of a dog if it is needed (snacks, poop bags, leash, blankets, first aid kit). I’m familiar with dog breeds & behavior & am aware of different training techniques so I’m not worried about being able to manage any dog- like getting them in their crate at the end of the night, or establishing a relationship with them, etc. I will care for your pet the way you want, but above all I will always care for an animal with the utmost respect & love, 💕

About: Animals have been my life since before I could walk! I've cared for all sorts of animals in all life stages, and I've worked in pet retail, pet care, and more recently in beginner vet care! I do best with older dogs but I can handle puppies and seniors, and I can administer medications from pills to insulin injections! I have my own pets, so what's the harm in caring for a few more? Given proper advance notice, I will fit your furry friends into my schedule and make sure they get the best care possible! Going away and leaving your best friends behind can be scary and nerve-wracking! I prefer visiting your home when caring for your pets, as it's an environment your animal has already established as a safe place! As a fellow pet parent, I'm happy to say that I'm very much a helicopter pet-sitter. If I notice anything slightly off I will never hesitate to let you know! It's always better to be safe than sorry. I will use my experience in the pet care and vet field to make sure your loved one is safe and happy while you're away!

I contacted Kyle to walk my dog everyday as I would be away for a month. The process of scheduling with him was great. He came to my house to meet my girl prior to the scheduled walks and they got along very well. Kyle took excellent care of my girl and I loved the pictures/comments he sent of her during their walks. He communicated well and was always readily available. My girl is very high energy and stubborn but Kyle was patient with her and she looked forward to their walks everyday! If I could give Kyle 10 stars, I would! I highly recommend him and will continue to use his services in the future! Thank you again, Kyle!

About: Welcome and thank you for your consideration! I encourage any questions you may have about the type of care I provide or my experience. I strive to be a dependable, reliable, trustworthy, and knowledgable caretaker. I believe in providing the level of care, respect, and attention to detail that I would personally insist upon for my own pets. Why I may be a good fit for you: ✨ Previous experience working in a veterinary clinic, including administering oral, topical, and injected medications. ✨ Experienced with "difficult" cases such as fearful, nervous, or spicy personalities, senior /disabled pet care, or homes with multiple animal species. ✨ I take on limited numbers of clients at a time to ensure that I'm able to commit undivided attention instead of rushing to beat the clock. ✨ 100% supportive of indoor and outdoor cameras -- the more the merrier! I work my primary job from home so my schedule is able to adjust pretty well to accommodate all of my client's schedules and needs. I do not over book myself to avoid issues with emergencies, other visits running over time, etc. I do start a timer at the beginning of the visits, but I do not intently stare at it or scramble to leave as soon as the time is up. I have a questionnaire that I ask all current and future clients to fill out. It asks about feeding, schedule, behavior, quirks, exercise, hiding places, trash bins, etc. to ensure that I can be prepared to handle anything that comes up. For example, I follow your instructions to the T with regards to feeding, whether it's wet, dry, raw, mixed, home cooked, or something in between.

About: Hi! I’m a passionate animal lover with hands-on experience working in veterinary hospitals and doggy daycare settings. I’ve learned how to safely handle dogs and cats with all kinds of personalities, energy levels, and needs. I also have a strong interest in pet nutrition and overall wellness, which helps me pay attention to the little details that keep pets healthy and happy. Animals have always been a big part of my life, and I truly love getting to know each pet’s unique personality. Whether it’s going for walks, playing, keeping up with routines, or just spending time giving them attention and comfort, I always treat every pet like they’re my own. My goal is to make sure your pet feels safe, relaxed, and cared for while you’re away—and to give you peace of mind knowing they’re in good hands. I’d love the chance to meet you and your pet! I'm a full-time college student, so I have a pretty flexible schedule! I can do same day walks/sittings, and I love to take care of animals whenever I can! I treat every animal like they are my own. This is something that is super important to me - treat every animal how you want to be treated, or how you'd treat your own!

About: I've been around dogs my whole life and have been a pet parent for many years to a number of rescue and foster dogs and cats. I have experience with large dogs, elderly dogs, puppies, and dogs with anxiety and separation anxiety. I love being around animals and treat them like my own fur-babies. I currently have two dogs of my own (Gunnar a lab/plott hound mix and Bella a plott hound/coonhound mix). I love to hike so long walks to exercise your pup are not an issue for me. I work from home full time so that gives me lots of flexibility for pet care both weekdays and weekends for house sitting and drop in visits or walks. I can take small dogs in home if they are okay with two other dogs (medium size and large). I don't have a fenced in yard but we take multiple walks per day through our nearby trails. In your home, I respect your house rules and preferences to leave a zero footprint after each sitting. Happy to support any enrichment activities your pet needs and give them lots of love and sniffy walks.

About: What sets me apart is my hands-on experience with dogs at every stage of life. I’ve raised a family dog from a puppy, fostered and helped train seeing eye puppies, and have experience with dogs who need extra patience and consistency. I also fostered—and ultimately adopted—our current dog, so I truly understand the commitment and care pets need to feel safe and loved. Because of this, I’m comfortable with puppy routines, basic training reinforcement, and providing a calm, supportive environment for dogs with different personalities and needs. I treat every pet like they’re my own and focus on making them feel happy, secure, and well cared for while you’re away. As a teacher on summer break, I have a very open and flexible schedule. I’m available for daytime, evening, and weekend care, and can accommodate last-minute requests whenever possible. I try to keep things as close to your pet’s normal routine as possible so they feel comfortable and stress-free. In your home, I’ll follow your schedule for feeding, walks, playtime, and anything else they need, and of course give them lots of attention and love. If they’re staying with me, they’ll be treated like part of the family. I make sure they have a safe, relaxed space, plenty of playtime, and also time to just chill. I’ll also send updates and pictures so you know how they’re doing while you’re away 😊

Erica is a miracle! I was worried how long it might take my dog to warm up to someone coming in her home without me there, particularly because she is blind. Erica worked with me to take the time to get to know Ember and fortunately, it took no time at all! Ember warmed up to her so quickly and is so excited when she visits for a walk! Ember and I are so grateful!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
