About: I have been interested in cats all my life and during the covid years I had finally been able to get one. I take care of my own cats, and because of that I have experience with them. Additionally I have pet sat for a cat who was rescued with feline aids. I have done, and continue to do a lot of research on animals because they are very important to me. I went to an animal orientated program because of my love for animals, and always put their health and happiness first.

I was concerned about leaving bandit because she had a large dog bear and it was working when we pulled up to her house, but she assured me that he would be fine and he was she sent me pictures throughout the day with updates on how he was doing she showed me pictures of bandit with her children, and I like that. She also showed me pictures with bandit and a little Yorkie. I would definitely recommend her and would use her in the future. I ask if she was available on Monday because I also need a sitter for Monday, but she said she had too many dogs already booked”

I am well trained in giving oral medications as I had a fur baby that had congestive heart failure for 4 years whom also was a senior dog when he passed at 18 years old. I work from home and care for my grandmother so I will home with them at all times. I can administrate pills/medicine if needed. I am able to take the dogs out whenever it is needed. About: I’ve been around animals all my life, & I can’t wait until I’m in a situation when I can finally have my own dog again. I love every critter I meet (although I am partial towards chihuahuas & pits) & I have yet to meet a dog that didn’t like me. My family always had dogs growing up, & I have experience caring for a variety of dogs of different ages. I’ve only had two pet dogs that went through their entire life cycle with me, & my most recent doggo was a shitzu who came to me when she was 11. I spent her last few years trying to make her as comfortable & happy as possible. That’s the goal for every animal I care for. While this is obviously a job, & I do need the money, I genuinely enjoy getting to be helpful, to make someone’s life easier, & to, of course, spend time with dogs. Basically, I currently have plenty of time to fit in pet care. I am comfortable staying at someone else’s place; it would be nice to have a change of scenery every once in a while. Of course, I will treat your house with respect & be sure to leave it as it was when I arrived! If they wanna chill & sleep, that’s fine with me, but if they’re really active & need to play, I will play fetch & tug-o-war for hours on end. I have a car & supplies to take care of a dog if it is needed (snacks, poop bags, leash, blankets, first aid kit). I’m familiar with dog breeds & behavior & am aware of different training techniques so I’m not worried about being able to manage any dog- like getting them in their crate at the end of the night, or establishing a relationship with them, etc. I will care for your pet the way you want, but above all I will always care for an animal with the utmost respect & love, 💕

I'm a full-time college student, so I have a pretty flexible schedule! I can do same day walks/sittings, and I love to take care of animals whenever I can! I treat every animal like they are my own. This is something that is super important to me - treat every animal how you want to be treated, or how you'd treat your own!

Why I may be a good fit for you: ✨ Previous experience working in a veterinary clinic, including administering oral, topical, and injected medications. ✨ Experienced with "difficult" cases such as fearful, nervous, or spicy personalities, senior /disabled pet care, or homes with multiple animal species. ✨ I take on limited numbers of clients at a time to ensure that I'm able to commit undivided attention instead of rushing to beat the clock. ✨ 100% supportive of indoor and outdoor cameras -- the more the merrier! I work my primary job from home so my schedule is able to adjust pretty well to accommodate all of my client's schedules and needs. I do not over book myself to avoid issues with emergencies, other visits running over time, etc. I do start a timer at the beginning of the visits, but I do not intently stare at it or scramble to leave as soon as the time is up. I have a questionnaire that I ask all current and future clients to fill out. It asks about feeding, schedule, behavior, quirks, exercise, hiding places, trash bins, etc. to ensure that I can be prepared to handle anything that comes up. For example, I follow your instructions to the T with regards to feeding, whether it's wet, dry, raw, mixed, home cooked, or something in between.

I was a kennel worker and then a kennel manager for many years. I also helped start up and run a successful animal non profit for spay/neuter /adoption services. I'm looking to be able to help with giving dog walks in my time away from my full time job. I love being outside with nature and what better way to get outside than with a dog by your side! “Sharon was wonderful with our dogs! She watched my two dogs and my sisters' two dogs for a weeklong vacation. Our pups are older and take oral medications as well as needing to go out frequently. Sharon handled their issues in stride, and even got my sister's timid anxious dog to warm up. They loved running around in the fenced back yard and snuggling up in the dog room with lots of spaces to take a break. Sharon sent pictures and updates throughout the trip.
