“Marta looked after our pride and our home for a long weekend earlier this month. Pre-booking she kindly came over for a meet-and-greet (both us and our cats). Marta asked all the right questions about their care and habits, giving us confidence in her pet-sitting approach. Communications were great throughout from pre-booking until the end of her stay and Marta sent plenty of photos and updates giving much reassurance that the pride were all fine in our absence. - She even managed to persuade our oldest boy Kipper to join her in some yoga, which was truly impressive. About: I started Rover this Autumn, but I’d had experience of looking after pets before. I’ve had 2 cats while I was living with my parents and both of them had kitties - a British cat and a Canadian Sphynx. Furthermore, I can say that I adore animals, and would love the opportunity to care for your pet while you’re away. Helping however I can. I enjoy walking dogs and playing with them. I don’t host more than 1 pet at a time, this way I can be sure to give your pet as much attention as possible. The only time I could consider having more than one pet at a time, if they were coming from the same family. I’m currently working from home and have a flexible schedule. It gives me an opportunity to give ample attention to your little friend during the day and any amount of walking they need (if applicable). I live in a house with my husband who also enjoys spending time with our little visitors wherever he has free time. We don’t have pets of our own, and have a fenced garden that is especially handy to have for escape artists. I watch all the pets carefully and make sure that they feel comfortable in the house. We have a park, a little forest and a few more good routes nearby that are nice for walking dogs. If I need to go to the owner’s home, I will strictly follow the given instructions.

About: I have taken care of dogs of all sizes since I was 15, trusted to walk, feed, and dog sit, but have grown up around dogs since I was a baby. I am currently on maternity leave so have all the time in the world, especially when my toddler is in nursery 3 days a week, free anytime of the day. I have a fenced yard, I would keep an eye and interact with them for the majority of the time I was with them, no distractions.

“Harrison misses the opportunity to walk and care for our family dogs, (Oscar and Jasper) whils living away from home at University. He is very adapt at caring for our dogs whilst at home taking them on long walks and entertaining them around the house. The dogs love the time they spend with him and although they are not the friendliest dogs around other dogs the skills Harrison has attained over the 10 years we have had the dogs means he is very skilled at dealing with other dogs whilst out with our own dogs. About: I've been passionate about dogs since a very young age and my persistence worked out when I finally got my own dog at age 14. I have a lot of experience working with animals, I have worked at veterinary surgeries and currently help out at a dog rescue centre. I have also previously been a host boarder for another dog boarding company as well as owning my own dogs. I understand how worrying it is to leave your dog when you go on holiday and how reassuring it is to find someone reliable, caring and competent to look after your dog, which I believe to fit the bill! I have a secured garden and there are plenty of available areas to walk dogs nearby. I am currently unable to take large dogs who are extremely strong on the lead, also I have a daughter aged 14 so your dog would need to be ok around children. I prefer the dogs to sleep downstairs, therefore if your dog is used to sleeping in your bed I may not be the best option as they are unlikely to settle. I usually board just one dog or dogs from the same household, for each stay, I do not mix different dogs. I have a secured fenced and lockable gated garden. I will be sure to work to the same routine as yourselves as best I can, whether in my home or your own. I have a current DBS certificate.

She is always happy to help us out and, added bonus, it’s a special treat for the dog because he absolutely adores her. She has such a fantastic way with animals and really seems to understand them.
