Dog Walking in East Devon

About: Growing up with summer holidays on my aunt and uncles farm in Scotland taught me how to care for animals My first job as a toddler was to feed the chickens and collect the eggs I used to go up on trailer to feed sheep and cattle, and play with the farm dogs Growing up I always had dogs and wanted that for my children as well But at our busiest we had 2 dogs, 2 cats, 2 guinea pigs, 2 budgies and 2 gerbils. Living in Switzerland at the time we had many international friends who used to travel and we would regularly take it in turns to house sit for each other I am calm and caring with nervous pets and not phased by walking having completed many long distance paths like Hadrian's walk and Offas dyke - so pets that need a good exercise is a joy Over a period of a year I have been able to do 16 house sits - see photos and 5 star feedback On other well known house and pet sitting site Due to location driveway at property also available for car storage during holidays leaving from Exeter Airport and drop off and collection could be organised for fee I am retired and continue to do house and pet sitting in other peoples homes. I am looking to extend this care in between these sits to build a local selection of families that I can support with their pet care needs from the comfort of my own home as well I have a fully fenced in rear garden with plenty of space to play. Also I am surrounded by parkland walkable from my front door. If you wish transport or further afield walks, I have a Skoda Yeti - which has good access / space for pets to be transported to and from sits/ walks

She has also looked after our Russian Blue and Burmese Blue cats and has a nack for coaching them down from trees. My furry friends thought she was really cool.”

About: Hello! Available for boarding, sitting, day care, walks and drop ins. I am insured and have been caring for dogs (and the occasional cat) through Rover for the last 18 months in and around Exmouth. I've cared for my own dogs and cats my whole life and have provided dog sitting services for friends and family since a teen. I grew up with Irish Wolfhounds so have some experience with giant breeds. I will only look after one pet at a time unless otherwise discussed and agreed (or pets from the same household) so they will have lots of attention. I have my own rescue kitty who gets along well with most dogs. I am willing to accommodate animals with behavioural issues with the right guidance and proper introductions. For boarding for more than 3 nights, I can do a nights trial to help dog(s) prepare and get to know their new environment / carer. I work from home Monday to Friday and have plenty of time to walks, playing and giving animals the attention they need before work, throughout the day and in the evenings. I have a fenced garden for dogs to roam and two inner doors making it easy to ensure any animals are kept in as needed. I can offer dog and cat boarding, day care, home visits, and dog walking.

She was sending daily pictures and video updates so I was calm that my boy is in good hands. The only disadvantage is that because she is so good, she is always fully booked for months upfront and you need to book very early to avoid disappointment.”

“Jake is fantastic with our dogs. Unfortunately we lost two of our dogs this year but when we had all 3 ( 2 greyhounds and a staffie ) Jake took them on like it was nothing ! We only have molly our lovely staffie and he treats her like his own. We’ve had Jake look after her so many times that she knows who he is and looks forward to seeing him. Thanks Jake :)”

“Charlotte is an experienced pet carer, owner, with a vast knowledge of many breads. Once carrying for many dog breads for "Barking Mad" Buckinghamshire. Sadly, this came to an end when she relocated. Charlotte has further knowledge with pet health and management, vaccinations, nails clipping and dealt with post operative care also. I would highly recommend Charlotte a highly skilled responsible pet owner and carer.”

“Vince took the time to visit us in our holiday home to meet our three dogs, 2 Shepherds and a Chow Chow the day before our booking. From the moment he arrived he was calm, friendly and very knowledgeable about our dogs and the surrounding area. About: I have a 2 yr old female Rhodesian Ridgeback who loves running and training for Ironman. I also love my plants so always outside when ever I can be. I currently work half contract at a fire station so have plenty of time to dog walk/run. Pop in for lunch time walks or look after dogs on more of a weekly/weekend style. I have a long grass back garden and Olive my ridgeback to keep other dogs happy. Your dog would be downstairs in my house. When we walk we would go down by the river to budleigh.
