“Nancy K put my mind at ease when we first met after our exchanges on Rover.com. At our initial meet and greet at my home, Lexie (an older pit) was amazingly comfortable with Nancy K. When the day came for Nancy K to stay with Lexie for two nights, she came at an early morning hour and we were able to go over a couple of items prior to my departure that had changed after our initial meeting. Nancy K started providing me updates and pictures before I boarded the plane and throughout the trip. I could tell Lexie was happy Nancy K was taking care of her. About: My husband and I have been around animals our whole life, but particularly the past 4 years we’ve been fostering cats/kittens very frequently. Everything from bottle feeding to caring for seniors. We came to Rover recently to help families locally who need extra assistance with their cat children (: We are very comfortable with all types of cats and will keep them happy and safe! Currently working full-time from home and have plenty of time to spend with your pets! Between myself and my husband one of us is always home. I’m also available to drop by or stay the night at your house whatever’s most convenient. We let the cats roam free at our house, unless they’re too young. I have a guest bedroom, “the cat room”, that I dedicate to any pets that would be safer in a secluded area.

About: I have taken care of all kinds of pets going from dogs and cats to horses, tortoises, chickens, and more. I have done many overnight stays with pets and spent many hours just doing drop ins! I pet sit for many family friends and neighbors. I am currently enrolled in a Veterinary Nursing program and I have even spent a summer abroad in Guatemala volunteering at a wildlife rescue center. I personally have many animals which include 3 dogs, 2 cats, a bunny, a horse, a bearded dragon, and a tarantula! I definitely love animals! I am currently in online school and looking for part-time work, which means I have plenty of time to spend hanging out with your pets! I currently cannot board any pets at my house but am able to stay with the pets in your home and can accommodate to your pets usual schedule!

“Lauren is a great pet sitter! She watches our 3 year old golden doodle, Lucky, whenever we’re out of town. She ensures that Lucky has food and water, administers medication if needed, and gives her lots of cuddles and quality play time. Lauren also has a cat of her own and has raised several Guinea pigs. She can manage multiple pets and is incredibly responsible with them while you’re away!”
