Fireplace, plenty of cozy spots for the dogs, and a basket full of toys.”

About: I have been taking care of dogs, cats, birds, turtles, lizards, goats, chickens and sheep for 5 years. I also currently work at Lake Tahoe Community College part time. I have experience with senior pets with special needs. I provide talk therapy for those who need it! (meaning, animals who don't trust new people right away). I am available for overnights, dog walks, plant care and house-sitting. I am really good with animals that have fear and trust issues. Some of my clients have been impressed with how quickly a special needs pet warmed up to me. Treats help! I am honest and trustworthy, and would love the opportunity to care for your pets! Thanks! Judy I am currently working part-time, so I have plenty of time available to care for your pet(s). I work 7 hours a day, 4 days a week at SLT. I will sleep in the same room as your pet so they feel safe. That way, if they need to go out in the middle of the night, I’ll be right there for them.

“Jared was great - he was incredibly flexible and knew how to handle dogs. Nala is a little picky and can get snappy with dogs, so I was a little worried, but everything went incredibly smoothly. He was very communicative - he responded immediately whenever I messaged him. Jared was also incredibly accommodating, he was willing to meet up with wherever was convenient with me when dropping of Nala. I would definitely ask Jared to look after Nala again.”

“Lori is a great friend and we hike together when I am at Tahoe. She regularly helps out her neighbors and friends by dog sitting and dog walking. Recently, Lori helped a neighbor who was out of the country because her house/dog sitter was having difficulty acclimating to the altitude and could not walk their 2 year old; very rambunctious Labrador. Tilly was not getting the long walks she was used to so Lori pitched in, and took her for 4-5 mile hikes every few days. When my daughter was visiting last winter, Lori walked their 2 Golden Retrievers; Winnie and Piper, while they went skiing. The dogs love Lori, especially Winnie, it is a relief knowing they are in good hands. I highly recommend Lori for all your dog care needs; she is dependable, kind, loving and thoughtful. She will give your dog(s) 100% of her attention and time.”

“I totally recommend Hailey as a dog sitter/walker, etc. She takes dog sitting seriously and will make friends with all the dogs in the neighborhood. She took care of our dog many, many times. She would run and hike with him, walk him, and just hang out with him. Even when he slowed down due to cancer, she would just lay on the lawn with him - spending quality time. Hailey is responsible and super enthusiastic. You would be lucky to have someone like her who will just love your fur baby.”
