It’s very reassuring to know that her work ethic is even better than first impressions: she was meticulously on time, diligent about starting and ending the Rover tools that help me stay on top of my fur-babies when I’m away from home, she was spot-on attentive to my care instructions and went FAR above-and-beyond to picking up a hairball that turned up unwelcome and unannounced (don’t they all?!). About: From a very young age I grew up around all kinds of animals in a country like atmosphere. I'll have nothing but patience, love and care for your fur babies. I'm a mom of three littles and I work part time from home so my schedule is pretty flexible to help care for your pets. I do not have any animals of my own besides my children. I'm pretty open to either coming to you to do walks/feedings. I'm also open to having your pets stay with me.

About: I have grown up around animals all of my life and have taken care of my own dogs and cats over the years and have also been a go to resource for friends and family to take care of their pets as well! I will make sure that your pets are taken care of like I take care of my own and make sure they have a great experience! I have a fully fenced in yard for your pets to enjoy the freedom of playing outside and I quite neighborhood for your pets to go on walks to their content.

“Several years ago, I had a dog that had to be nursed back to health after having a large malignant tumor removed from her leg. She had bleeding complications at the time of surgery and then the surgeon ending up having to remove additional margins in order to get the incision to heal. This was followed by about a month of radiation treatments, and several additional weeks of healing from those--all very stressful. The dog wore a large Elizabethan collar for over a month. She had to be confined to limit activity and she was not allowed down the steps to the back yard. Dory took her out for daily bathroom breaks while I was working full time. This was not easy, given that it was January and February in central MD, the bandages were easily soiled, the E-collar was unwieldy, and she had to be taken to the backyard via a circuitous route in order to avoid steps. It was a great relief to know that Dory would be taking care of her while I was at work. And when Dory met her some months after she had recovered from radiation treatments and was walking without a limp, Dory reacted as though it was her own long-lost dog come back whole.”
