“Linda Fé and KJ are the best! They have watched our Shepard mix multiple times, always giving her love and attention as if she was their own. They are reliable, have experience with dogs of their own, and are willing to help out on short notice if available. They are our preferred dog sitters when we go out of town!”
2. Kaden F.
“Kaden took care of my dog, Josie each day while I was in town for work. My dog had so much fun. Kaden took her on hikes and to the beach—it was like a vacation for my dog! She absolutely loves him and would get so excited when she saw him. Kaden was reliable, on time, and was a wonderful and fun companion to my dog. She is my best buddy and so precious to me. I worry about her being in the care of someone else. However, she gets absolutely spoiled with Kaden! I will use him whenever I’m in town!”

5. Alison R.
About: I was actually admitted into Cal Poly as a first year pre-vet animal science student. I've taken a couple courses on basic animal care but I've also taken a course called Companion Animal science which is all about the care of common household pets. I was also briefly part of the guidedogs for the blind club and got hands on experience on how to train service animals. My schedule is actually very flexible. I try to have most of my classes together so I don't have to be on and off campus which means I have significant periods of time open. If anything a couple days heads up to take care of an animal would give me enough time to plan. This totally depends on the breed/size/temperment of the animal, also with cats if it's an indoor outdoor cat I would probably thoughroughly discuss this with a client to make sure I have all the details. In general I would probably try and walk the dog away from other people or dogs incase the animal has certain triggers or reactions. I would try and stay gentle and calm around the animal and give them personal space if needed. In terms of environment I wouldn't let a dog off leash if the space isn't enclosed and I would try my hardest to monitor what the dog/cat eats as of not to let them get sick.

About: I have taken care of pets since I was 8 from walking dogs to grooming cats. I’ve loved all types of animals and I’m try to help out when people can’t necessarily walk there dogs or are going out of town. I’m an early riser who enjoys going on long walks. I enjoy spending quality time with pets and making sure they are tended too. I don’t have a busy schedule able to tend to the needs of the pets. I have a fenced back yard and clean house. I have a big bathroom that I can use for washing pets. I spend lots of quality time with the pets giving them a lot of attention.
7. Malia J.
“Malia has been a large influence when it comes to the caretaking of my dog. Being a rescue, my dog, Baylor, was a very timid and easily frightened by loud noises and new people. I had asked Malia (on multiple occasions) to care for him while I went on a variety of work trips. Malia knows this dog is my world as he is like my son. As time progressed I have tried time and time again to allow Baylor to see the joy in meeting new people and attempted to untraumatized him from the past. Malia has such a general nature towards Baylor that I have seen him become more playful, relaxed, and overall happier to be present. Malia is a trusted friend of mine when it comes to the caretaking of any dog whatsoever. I would trust her with Baylor at any time I a not present, and so should you.”
8. Seamus & Leslie J.
“We left our golden doodle with Leslie and Seamus while we toured Hearst Castle. They were great and our dog, Boffo, had a great time with them and their dog. Seamus and Leslie took him for a nice walk on the beach, fed him from their own stash of food as we had mistakenly left ours, and sent lots of photos showing him looking very happy and content. They seemed to be dog people through and through! I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for doggie day care.”
9. Mia T.
“Mia and her son were the best! Our golden/shepherd mix Duke had a wonderful day in her/their care. He was obviously well cared for and loved - walked, played with, watered and napped. A perfect day for our pup! We’ll be back! Thank you Mia!”
10. Heather E.
“Heather was so amazing and accommodating a last minute request to watch my dog over the weekend while guests were in town. She sent me photos and my pup was so happy and comfortable in her home. Will definitely use her again!”
11. Denae K.
“I was so happy to find Denae and her family for my fur babies. The dogs seemed happy, although my little one was a little afraid I was abandoning her, Denae's family was patient with her and she was able to relax, so she wasn't in a complete frenzy when I picked her up. Communication was easy and timely. I would definitely contact Denae again for future dog sitting needs.”
12. Sandra P.
“Hank loved being with Sandra! He came home tired every day and was excited to see her which means a lot. She was very accommodating to my weird hospital hours which I very much appreciated.”
13. Kaitlin W.
“Kaitlin was the first person I left my puppy (6 mo) with and she was very kind and great with my dog. She sent me photos of the meal, nap time, walks on the beach and at the end she even gave my dog a little gift. Great person!!!”

18. Sophia M.
“Sophia is fantastic with pets of all ages, shapes, and sizes. Her family had 4 small dogs and 2 large dogs. This led her to raise a puppy and she also frequently helps with the family's 16-year-old dog. She is incredibly compassionate towards all animals and loves spending time with them. She will always put the animal's best interest first. I strongly recommend Sophia for all pet-sitting needs.”
19. Brianna P.
“Our first time using rover and I chose Brianna because I saw she had lots of reviews and people who would come back to use her as a sitter. So we decided to choose her. She was very flexible with my dogs health issues and my dogs seemed to enjoy being there. It was nice to have this option in Morro bay because where we camp the dogs are not allowed on the beach and the dog beach was to crazy for us. So it was very helpful and relaxing knowing our babies were in good hands.”
20. Robyn K.
“Robyn is an amazingly doggie sitter! My boys loved staying with her and that’s saying a lot since they are 13 years old and not used to being away from us. I will definitely be using her again when I’m in the area.”
