11. Roan R.
“We are very happy to have connected with Roan! He really took time at the initial meet-and-greet walk to get to know our dogs carefully, and was very prepared to deal with some of their anxious/reactive behaviors (calming them down in the process). He also expertly managed a situation where our dogs broke through a loose board in our fence when barking at another dog outside; everyone got back in without incident. We really appreciate his attentiveness with our dogs and will absolutely check with him for future dog walking needs!”
12. Phoebe C.
“Phoebe was absolutely great! She was patient, kinda, understanding, and flexible. There’s so much anxiety and worry when leaving your fur baby with anyone, but Phoebe made it easy.”

About: Since growing up befriending the dozens of neighborhood strays I've been a lifelong lover of animals and have spent almost my entire life caring for dogs, cats, hamsters, and rats. While I don't have the time to dedicate to any pets of my own I'm thankful to the people who allow me the privilege of helping care for theirs. I don't take the responsibility lightly. Some things to note: - I am a night owl so I try to not book anything earlier than 9am. This also means I may not respond to any messages before then either - I will accept most bookings in N/NW/& NE Portland but am sometimes open to traveling further - I am currently unable to accept any bookings in my home I update my Rover schedule each month to fit around my ever-changing work schedule. This means any long-term bookings can not be scheduled outside of the current month. In my home: I have a fenced patio that pups can hang out in with supervision. No more than 1 dog will be in my home at a time so I can provide care to the best of my ability. In the client's home: Leave pets and home better than I found it. Stick to parents' notes. I understand what it's like to allow a stranger into your home to care for your beloved pet and that trust is something I never want to take for granted.
14. Megan B.
“Megan communicates well, and is punctual to her appointments. She has taken care of dogs for years and understands their needs. She enjoys being around dogs and the companionship that they need and bring. I look forward to having Megan watch my dog again.”
15. Kaylin A.
“I have had the pleasure of knowing Kaylin for several years, and I cannot recommend her highly enough as a pet caregiver. Kaylin has a natural affinity for animals and is genuinely happy when in their company. Her love and compassion for pets is evident in the way she interacts with them. Kaylin's positive attitude is infectious, making her a joy to work with. She is caring and sensitive to the needs of both pets and their owners, always going above and beyond to ensure their well-being. Additionally, Kaylin is incredibly responsible and trustworthy, qualities that are crucial in a pet caregiver. One of Kaylin's standout qualities is her preparedness. She has a solid plan for handling emergency situations, ensuring that pets under her care receive prompt and appropriate attention when needed. Her patience and calm demeanor are especially commendable when working with pets that are withdrawn or scared, as she is able to create a safe and reassuring environment for them. I wholeheartedly recommend Kaylin Allen as a pet caregiver. Her passion for animals, coupled with her responsible and loving nature, makes her an exceptional choice for anyone in need of pet care services.”
16. Trent M.
“Trent is a very kind person. He loves animals & will take care of yours as if they were his. He has taken care of mine for years. My doggies love him.”
17. Jenny G.
“Jenny is great! She was calm and patient with our nervous senior dog, and was very communicative with us reach day. We love the updates and photos! We will definitely book with her again!”
18. Ian S.
“Ian took great care of our playful 1 year old goldendoodle, Cevi! Ian was quick to respond to questions and accommodated our changes in drop-off/pick-up time. We received some photo updates and messages throughout the day, which reassured us Cevi was in great hands. It was awesome to see our dog enjoying himself, especially knowing he was playing with other pups in a safe and supervised area. When we picked Cevi up, Ian spent time sharing his observations on how he did. Ian was very reliable, provided our fur baby love and affection, and most of all gave us peace of mind during our time away. If you need a place for an energetic dog and someone who genuinely cares and wants to spend time with your dog, Ian is the perfect person to choose for that!”
19. Margaret W.
“I can always tell from the photos Margaret sends along that my dog is having a great time! It generally includes at least one photo where she is grinning from ear to ear. Thanks for the wonderful care!”
