“This is our second time having Trudy take care of Sheldon. We used the boarding service the first time for a month and then the drop in service this past weekend. By far, she is the BEST pet sitter we have ever had. Extremely professional, well prepared, patient, kind, very loving with cats and honestly, there's just not enough space to say how amazing she is. Sheldon came back wanting to stay more! Her place is very well fitted for several cats and she is well trained to handle more than 1 cat at a time. Sheldon is always happy to see her!”

About: I’ve always been a reliable source for friends, family, neighbours and co-workers when they need their beloved pet to be looked after. I treat their pet like my own and want to ensure the pet it comfortable with me since it can be stressful when owners are away. I’ve always been an animal lover and wish I could have pets or my own, some day! I work full time but my weekday evenings are when I usually have some free time and most likely end up going outside for a walk/run. I’m normally free on weekends and tend to spend time outside and relax. I look after pets with the upmost respect for the owners, pet and property. I know that a lot of trust goes into having someone look after your beloved pet.
3. Alexa H.

4. Madeline B.
About: I have taken care of dogs since I was a kid. I have had my own (including beagles and mini schnauzers) but also taken care of my friends and families dogs. Not only do I give them lots of snuggles and walkies, but I make sure they are well-fed, well-groomed, and filled with lots of love. I am planning to transition into a full-time dog walker but for now I am working a part time job. Taking care of doggos is my priority. I want your furry little guy/gal to feel comfortable. I am open to any care your dog needs and will adapt my space to your needs.

He knows how to properly approach a new pet that he has never met before, and will go out of his way to ensure the safety of all of his pets!”
7. Faith C.
“Faith has such a big heart & caring personality for all animals. She has personally cared for all types of pets, including dogs, cats, hamsters, fish, guinea pigs and a leopard gecko, and is especially good with elderly pets and those with special needs. She has also spent time giving love to animals as they near their time to cross the rainbow bridge. Faith worked as a summer intern at the RAPS Cat Sanctuary. She is always excited to meet a new animal friend and can quickly gain their trust with her calm presence. Faith would be a great choice whether you need someone to pet sit while you’re away, walk your dog, or just come by to spend time with your family pet. She is a true animal lover!”

“What makes Tomomi so special?? It's her unconditional love for dogs. If you could see her with dogs, especially little ones, you would understand what I mean. She spends much time in the day taking her dog or yours for walks, playing with them, and just simply loving them. I highly recommend Tomomi as a very responsible caregiver for anyone's dog. 17. Lea B.
About: I had a childhood dog. My boyfriend & I have been together for 10.5 years. Him & his mom have had a yellow lab & Abyssinian cat this whole time. I go to Vancouver to my boyfriend's on Saturdays for sure. I'm avaliable the rest of the week to cat/dog sit or walk your dog. I'm pretty invested in animal liberation & animal body-autonomy. I do not buy products tested on animals & do not consume animals. I've donated to various organizations that work on animal liberation & animal body-autonomy. There are some phenomenal activists on Instagram. I have the ability to follow instructions in regards to your strata's rules about dogs, or your rules regarding opening the screen door, etc at your house. One thing that I do is let the cat sniff my hand before I do anything. I get onto their level, but point my legs/torso away from them. Same with dogs. I'll sit on the ground to get on their level and let them sniff my hand by letting their snout come to my hand. No sudden quick movements, and always smiling. No raised eyebrows or excited tone/speech. They need to be extremely comfortable with someone new.

It is so hard leaving pets behind but we were so incredibly grateful that she gave our family member so much attention. We will definitely be reaching out to her again!”
