I raise Labradoodles and she has been a big help in socializing them.”

About: I love all dogs and cats, and birds. My whole life I have had dogs and cats. Over many years, my pets have been schnauzer mix, sheepdog mix, rottweiler, pitbull mix, boxer mixes, and now Yorkie mixes. I am strong and love to walk dogs and play. I allow pets on furniture and beds. But if you don't want your pet to bring these habits to your home, I will honor your requests to keep them off the furniture. I am experienced with bathing dogs, but I am not a groomer or nail trimmer. I am energetic and attentive to your pets needs. I am available most days and weekends. This is perfect for pets with separation anxiety or pets who have a lot of energy and want to play or walk a lot. I will maintain any habits you have for your pet. Yes on furniture, no on furniture. Yes to crate(I have large and small crates) or no crate. Special diet or simple diet. Etc. I have experience with giving meds- oral, topical, injection (intramuscular or subcutaneous...not intravenous), ear meds, wound care. I have 2 small dogs. But if you dog doesn't appreciate other dogs, I can easily keep them separated. My yard is securely fenced and I have dog doors for anytime access and can be closed for any reason ex: at night etc. I am very trainable to care for your pet the way you want them to be treated.

About: I have worked in kennels, and pet resorts in San luis Obispo area. I have experience with both dogs and cats of all ages. I pride myself in creating great experiences for both owners and pets. I have experience administering medications, bathing, feeding and cleaning. I look forward to meeting your furry friends. I'm currently working part time, so I will be available M-F to play, walk, feed, clean or anything else your furry friends might need or want. I look forward to caring for your pets. I take pride in being safety conscious and if coming to your home or walking your pet, I will make sure to follow to the best of my ability all rules and guide lines set out by you.

“What an amazing experience! Of course, we had many options. We could have boarded our dog or had someone come spend a little time everyday with her at our home, but we felt idea of having our dog stay with Maren's family a much better choice. We were not disappointed! They have a great enclosed outdoor space. Maren's dog Patch was very friendly and both animals got along great. We could tell that our dog had such a great stay for she refused to leave with us when we came to retrieve her! We cannot wait to use Maren's service again for our next vacation! It helps that Sarah also makes her own human-grade dog treats :) While we were gone, we got regular updates, and Sarah even wiped down the house in anticipation of our arrival home. 10/10 would recommend all day!”

About: I’ve been surrounded my dogs and other animals since I was a child. I grew up with three dogs ranging in size and energy from corgi to lab and went on to raise two labs of my own. Adopting both my yellow and chocolate lab at 8 weeks old, I trained them, potty trained them, and crate trained them. My natural happy place is with pups and I love nothing more than hanging with them, taking them on walks/runs/hikes/adventures, or just being a solid companion. I’m currently working part-time, so I have plenty of free time to fit with a flexible schedule. My current work days are all day Monday and Thursday with the occasional evening serving shift. I can do any early morning, late evening, and weekend day. I can adjust to the schedule your dog is currently on if house sitting or repetitive dog service is required. I’m comfortable walking any dog on a leash, crating them, bathing them, and keeping up with their feeding regimen.
