About: I've owned animals my whole life, from Bernese mountain dogs to my beloved senior Yorkie to my current hound and his cat brother. I am a research scientist looking to make a little extra money by loving and taking care of your animals. I've been a sitter on Rover since college, but due to my current animals I am offering drop in visits and walks. I've been relied on by family and friends for as long as I can remember - references can be provided! I work hybrid and make my own schedule, therefore I can tend to your pets whenever I am not in meetings. I am rarely in meetings or can even take them from your home if it's a problem. I have a car so I can drive to you. Making sure your babies feel safe is my priority! Having spent 8 months encouraging my current cat to come out of his shell, I understand what it takes. My previous Yorkie was also leash reactive, so I have experience with that as well. I will do whatever necessary to provide a safe environment for your pets.

About: For ten years I worked as an animal behavior specialist and dog trainer for a large humane society in New England. After that, I ran a successful pet training and pet sitting business. Although I have since made a career change, I still love spending quality time with animals and helping care for them when I can. Since I work from home any dog staying with me gets lots of attention. I do have an adorable chihuahua of my own, so small-dog friendliness is a must for dogs I watch and she would be accompanying me for overnight stays at your home.
