“We were relieved to find Agnes who we trusted with our two puppers for several visits during our wedding! She checked in and was great with sharing photos to let us know they were safe!”

“Deanna continues to be my go-to cat sitter for multiple trips out of town. She is communicative, dependable, and trustworthy, and always does an amazing job caring for my cat while letting me know all is well! Thanks for another great experience, Deanna!”

“Karen responded quickly with our last minute Request. She did a great job caring for our cat. Kitty warmed up with her quickly. She did more than expected. Will recommend and use her again. Thanks Karen”

“Gretchen was amazing with my Bug. she was so kind and attentive and treated my kitty like she was her own. Bug is usually very shy around strangers but hit it off with Gretchen within minutes of meeting her, which is a testament to Gretchen’s warmth and positive energy- I felt completely at ease on my vacation knowing Bug was in such great company. She learned Bug’s personality and quirks very quickly and catered her care around that which made Bug very comfortable as well. I can see why Gretchen is a star sitter with so many repeat clients and I’m looking forward to using her services again in the future. Overall an absolutely wonderful lady. Thank you Gretchen!”

About: Hello! My name is Casey. I am a parent to one tiny human and three dogs! I am a full time Board Certified Behavior Analyst, currently employed within a school. While I work with kids professionally, I have had dogs for years and have a true love for all of the dogs I meet. I signed up to work with Rover because I myself have used rover sitters over the past few years for my two dogs. My family and I love to travel, and are known to take last minute adventures. My older dog (Rufus) does NOT like to travel :( . I want to provide the same support so many sitters have provided to my family and pups! I am comfortable with dogs of all sizes, ages and energy levels. I am available to play, walk and snuggle after school and on the weekends. I am currently available to provide care after school and on weekends! I primarily am available for drop ins, walks, short visits and care. During school breaks, I will have increased time in which to spend with Rover families. Currently, I am able to provide most care within the dog's home. In addition, I can take pups out for walks within their familiar neighborhood.
“She made three visits a day to our house for our dog and cat. They loved her, and she did everything perfectly including giving our dog plenty of walks and giving her her medicine. We will definitely be asking her to come watch our pets again in the future!”

“We recently used Clarissa for the first time, and we are very happy with the experience! Our dog was well cared for, and it was clear Clarissa genuinely loves animals. Communication was excellent, and we received regular updates, which gave us peace of mind while we were away. Our dog seemed happy and relaxed when we returned, which speaks volumes about the quality of care provided. We highly recommend Clarissa and will definitely be contacting her in the future!”

“Rachael was great! She took care of our energetic Golden in an exceptional manner. She was very communicative and great with sending pictures. I would definitely recommend Rachael and will be rebooking with her when the time arises!”

“Angelique was fantastic with our dog while we were away! She was reliable, thorough, and incredibly kind and caring and we would 100% trust her again in the future to take care of our girl again!”

About: I have taken care of all kinds of animals since I can remember. I grew up with birds, cats, dogs, hamsters, bunnies, ferrets and fish. Though my absolute favorite are dogs! I would love to take your dog on walks, feed and water them and give them baths if needed. I am currently a stay at home mom with 3 kids and would be available that day as long as I'm not away somewhere far. I can play catch, take for walks, drive to a dog park, pets on the couch, or whatever you would like me to do to keep them happy.
“Messaged me a lot of updates and videos. It’s great to know someone is following the suggestions to keep your overactive border collie happy. Did everything asked and even put the toys back they played with”

“Ray was an incredible help while I was on vacation. She went out of her way to find out what my cat Yoda liked doing for fun and spent time playing with him every day. She also sent me a ton of adorable pictures and videos of Yoda. It was very clear that Yoda felt very comfortable with her. I will definitely continue using her for my petsitting needs!”

About: I have been a devoted mom, grandma, and pet parent for a long time. Now that I am off grandma daycare duty and my pets have crossed over the rainbow bridge, I’m ready to become your pet’s bestie, grandma, exercise buddy, or treat lady. I currently have a limited clientele in the neighborhood, including letting dogs out to pee, going on walks, and daytime/overnight sitting. A little bit about why I am “the one:” My life has been devoted to caring for others. I retired from the healthcare field to take care of my grandkids, who went to elementary school and left me behind. My very dear dog (Sammy) and cat (Irene) grew old with me until they got their wings. I am at my best when I’m taking care of others, whether they have tails or not. I spend my time walking with humans and dogs, many of whom enjoy my humor and choice of dog biscuit variety. I love to garden in my fenced yard, preferably with a dog nearby laying in a sunny spot. With no pets or little kids in the house, I enjoy relaxing by the tv sharing some healthy snacks with a pup or cat, giving them the attention they deserve. Although I do run out still for the occasional kid transport, I am not usually away for long and always back in time for a good meal or a stroll. While I am retired, I do still help out with the grandkids here and there. I’m typically never away long. I walk 1-3 times a day, sometimes through the neighborhood and sometimes on a path. I love the extra company of a pup! When visiting my home, your pets can enjoy many comfortable features and experiences from laying on a nice cool tile floor to cozying up in a bed with a warm blanket, running around my fenced backyard, watching the fish swim in the small pond, going for a morning and evening walk on a path, and watching some nighttime tv. While I typically gate off some rooms for canine visitors, there is plenty of indoor space to explore while they find their favorite room or sunny spot. Depending on your pet’s age or preference in chewing things, I may gate off specific areas to deter chewing and peeing. I am happy to accommodate communication or even a short video chat between you and your pet.

About: I’ve been around dogs and cats my whole life. I’ve done all the chores that come with them. I’ve had a big dog and a little dog almost my entire life. My big dog is now older, so I have to help him with his arthritis. I’ve had to pick up poop, feed them, walk them, and massage him. I don’t have a job currently, so I’m free for anyone’s convenience! Besides when I have to go to the gym, or when im on vacation. I have a fenced yard and a specific place for them to use the bathroom outside, and also have a pee pee pad inside that I switch out twice a day.
“We have rebooked Hannah several times to watch our cat, Rocco. She always does a great job! Thorough report and pictures provided at the end of her visit. She’s a great choice for a pet sitter!”

Karen was great with my 3 kitties! We recently moved so they're very much so still in transition mode. Karen gave them the space they needed while making sure their needs were met, and they warmed up to her quicker than I've ever seen with other people! I would not hesitate to book Karen again!

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Zucksville. On Rover:
- 96% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 95% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 95% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
