“Karen is an absolute gem! I cannot say enough about how lucky we feel to have found her. Like most people reading Rover reviews, our cats (6) are like children to us. Lovable troublemakers who deserve the best care possible so we can worry about little less when we travel. Enter Karen. During our time away, she was extremely communicative and made us feel like we were right there. All the updates gave us comfort that not only were they being cared for, but she really friended them and got a good feel for their unique characteristics. That’s super important in trusting someone to know if there’s a change that warrants concern. Not only that, Mother Nature decided to dump piles of ice and snow up home. One of our cats needs medicine every 12 hours and Karen braved the elements to ensure he got it! 5 stars isn’t enough of a rating, she needs 10!”

“Lacey did a great job caring for my kitties! She sent me a detailed recap of her visit and sent great pictures of the kitty shenanigans. I will definitely use her services again. Thanks Lacey!”

About: I have worked 2 week long dog sitting jobs before. I have owned pets my whole life, so I am comfortable with the process of taking care of them. I am an electrical engineering student home from college trying to pay off my loans. I am free all summer so please give me work!! I am friendly and have a lot of time to match any request your pet needs. From difficult animals to sweet ones I can watch them.
“Miah is fantastic! We can trust our pets are well taken care of. She is reliable and responsive and we can recommend her for a drop by or overnight sit. She will be our go-to sitter when we need to be gone.”

“Clarissa is awesome! Very reliable and will go the extra mile. Our dog Maddie had an accident over night and Clarissa was kind enough to clean it up. Highly recommend”

“I had a great experience with Raysa watching my cats over the weekend. She was very friendly, reliable, and clearly loves animals. She took excellent care of my cats, making sure they were well-fed, comfortable, and happy. I really appreciated that she took the time to play with them during her visits — it gave me peace of mind knowing they were getting attention and care while I was away. I would absolutely book with her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy pet sitter!”

“Steve (as they call him Uncle Steve) once again delivered on taking care of our kiddos with the addition of a new stray who has some unique care requirements. We will continue to use him as he almost gets to see them more than we do during the holidays!”

About: I have been involved with animals my entire life. From chinchillas & guinea pigs, to dogs & cats I have provided a home and care to all. My love for animals is so strong that I chose to make caring for them my career as I am a professional dog groomer. My number one priority is to provide comfort and safety to each and every creature I meet. My moto: Eat, breathe, sleep, animals :) I make my own schedule for my full time job as a dog groomer. I also have the ability to bring my dogs with me to work :) I also have 3-4 days off each week so I am flexible. I treat each and every pet as if they were apart of our family. I am certified in pet cpr & first aid and have extensive experience in administering medication. Respect and safety are of upmost importance.
About: I have been a devoted mom, grandma, and pet parent for a long time. Now that I am off grandma daycare duty and my pets have crossed over the rainbow bridge, I’m ready to become your pet’s bestie, grandma, exercise buddy, or treat lady. I currently have a limited clientele in the neighborhood, including letting dogs out to pee, going on walks, and daytime/overnight sitting. A little bit about why I am “the one:” My life has been devoted to caring for others. I retired from the healthcare field to take care of my grandkids, who went to elementary school and left me behind. My very dear dog (Sammy) and cat (Irene) grew old with me until they got their wings. I am at my best when I’m taking care of others, whether they have tails or not. I spend my time walking with humans and dogs, many of whom enjoy my humor and choice of dog biscuit variety. I love to garden in my fenced yard, preferably with a dog nearby laying in a sunny spot. With no pets or little kids in the house, I enjoy relaxing by the tv sharing some healthy snacks with a pup or cat, giving them the attention they deserve. Although I do run out still for the occasional kid transport, I am not usually away for long and always back in time for a good meal or a stroll. While I am retired, I do still help out with the grandkids here and there. I’m typically never away long. I walk 1-3 times a day, sometimes through the neighborhood and sometimes on a path. I love the extra company of a pup! When visiting my home, your pets can enjoy many comfortable features and experiences from laying on a nice cool tile floor to cozying up in a bed with a warm blanket, running around my fenced backyard, watching the fish swim in the small pond, going for a morning and evening walk on a path, and watching some nighttime tv. While I typically gate off some rooms for canine visitors, there is plenty of indoor space to explore while they find their favorite room or sunny spot. Depending on your pet’s age or preference in chewing things, I may gate off specific areas to deter chewing and peeing. I am happy to accommodate communication or even a short video chat between you and your pet.
About: What sets me apart is the genuine love and patience I have for animals. I treat every pet like family and understand that each one has their own personality, routine, and comfort needs. I’m dependable, attentive, and focused on making pets feel safe, happy, and loved — whether it’s a long walk, cuddle time, playtime, or simply keeping their routine consistent while you’re away. My current routine gives me the flexibility and availability to provide dependable, attentive care for pets throughout the day. I enjoy staying active and spending time outdoors, which makes dog walking and pet care a natural fit for me. I’m able to dedicate quality time to each pet, maintain consistent schedules, and make sure they receive the attention, exercise, and companionship they need. I care for pets with patience, consistency, and lots of affection, whether they’re in my home or theirs. I make sure they stay on their normal routine with feeding, walks, playtime, potty breaks, and plenty of attention so they feel comfortable and secure. I keep a clean, safe environment, pay close attention to their behavior and needs, and treat every pet like they’re part of the family. Communication with owners is also important to me, so I provide updates and photos for peace of mind.
About: My entire life I've grown up surrounded by and learning how to take care of dogs, cats, and other pets. I have offered housesitting, pet sitting, and dog walking services before, and I have always walked away with a satisfied client :). While I primarily deal with dogs and cats, if you have other animals that need to be taken care of, I can ensure that I will meet their needs. I am available at all hours and all days :). I currently have a work-at-home/freelance job, so I can stay with your pets for as long as you need! Every animal will receive much love and attention, play time and walks will always be a guarantee. That being said, I do not offer services to keep animals in my home, as I live with multiple people who might not consent to animals being in the house. I'd much prefer if I went over to your house.
About: Im reliable, caring, and experienced with both playful puppies and senior pets. Each pet gets my full attention, gentle care, and lots of love every time! As a nursing student, I do my best to fit pet care into my daily routine. Caring for others, pets included!, is something I naturally strive to do, even with a busy schedule. I follow each pet’s routine closely, whether in my home or the client’s. I make sure they’re fed on time, walked regularly, and given plenty of play, love, and attention. I keep their space clean, safe, and comfortable, and always communicate with owners to keep them updated.

Raysa was so loving to my little baby! Took great care of him and made sure to send me detailed updates about how he was doing. I received plenty of pictures of them playing together and getting cuddles which made me super happy :) will definitely book again in the future!

Karen took amazing care of Quigley and Sweetie while we were away. She was reliable, punctual, and attentive, and made sure they both felt comfortable and cared for. We really appreciated the updates and pictures which gave us peace of mind. When we came home they were both happy, healthy, and relaxed and it was clear they were well cared for. We will not hesitate to book Karen in the future!

Hannah is an absolutely fantastic cat sitter. She took such great care of our cats and gave us real peace of mind while we were away. When we had a concern about the cats possibly getting into something, she didn’t hesitate to come over and check on them right away, which we really appreciated. It’s clear she genuinely cares about the animals she’s watching. We have used Hannah multiple times and plan to use her every time we go away. We would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, attentive, and compassionate sitter!

Our stay with Danielle through Rover was wonderful. I can honestly say our cats may have fallen in love with her! While our cats are usually not shy, they immediately treated Danielle like part of the family and loved her daily visits. Our male cat even sat on her lap every day and enjoyed chewing on her ponytail. We were a little embarrassed by his show of affection, but it was clear he had good reason. It’s easy to see why she’s one of Rover’s favorites. We would wholeheartedly recommend her for any cat—or any other animal—because she is a true animal lover.
