She goes way above and beyond in her care, emulating jhome routines where possible, and Kim has even fed Jamocha by hand to get her to eat on that first night when she's still adjusting. She also manages the interactions of other dogs in her care so that they can have fun together and also be separated when they need rest or a break. Sometimes I think Jamocha has more fun with Kim than she does at my house. It is truly her home away from home and I can't say enough great things about Kim's Canine Care!”

She took me outside plenty of times to get fresh air and to feel more relaxed in these new surroundings. She made me sit for treats and always praised me when I did. Her treats were great and I had frozen peanut butter for the first time! Yum!! I got along well with Kim's two fur babies, but I was probably a little too energetic for them. Kim sent lots of cute pictures and sweet informative text messages to my Mom and Dad. Kim has taken lots of courses on how to understand doggy psychology and behavior, and she is very good at teaching us new things. About: Since 1990s, I've taken care of dogs, cats, chickens, geese, birds, fish and more for family, friends, neighbors and church. They have confided in me to love, feed, water, walk, play, and groom their furry buddies. I'm currently working part time, and my schedule is flexible. About: I've been dog sitting since I was 12 years old and have been around dogs my entire life. While I've never owned my own dog, I initially watched my cousin's dogs when they were out of town, but eventually started watching dogs for family friends and within the last 10 years watched my friend's dogs when they've been out of town. Most dogs I would take on walks or let them out to run around in the yard if it's fenced in (if the area isn't great for walking). I will always take care of your dog like it's my own. I work full time Monday thru Friday 8am-5pm so would be available after 5pm or on the weekends if I'm not travelling. I'm originally from Pittsburgh PA and still go back home on some weekends or will visit NYC for a day to visit friends or family. In my clients home I would either take their dogs on a walk around the block (if the area is decent enough) or can let the dogs out in the yard if it's fenced in. I'm very careful when walking dogs and always remember to pick up after them.

About: I’ve been taking care of animals since 2008. I do neighborhood dog walking/feeding, and provide companionship for animals when their humans are away. I adopted a cat in 2021 who had health issues (stable now!), so I’m able to administer medication as well. I am learning about pet health daily and enjoy educating myself on animal wellness. I currently have a kitty, Jax, and a Golden Retriever, Kona! 💕 We have a fully fenced in yard as of March 19th 2025. Kona LOVES to play, so we would be happy to take on one - two active dogs for daycare during the daylight .The dogs joining us must be cat friendly or familiar with cats. I've cared for puppies, seniors, medication needs and dogs who need lots of love and attention. On visits, your pet gets any specific needs met along with a potty break and playtime, fresh water, and a photo update after every stay. A bit about me: I grew up with pets ranging from a pony to a fox as well as dogs and cats. As an adult, I have been lucky enough to have a Rottie, Frenchie and Boston Terrier. But no current pets at this time. I work from home full time and would love some company or chance to stretch my legs and do drop-ins I offer drop-ins, boarding and daycare. and I'd love to set up a free Meet & Greet so we can all get comfortable before booking. I can do walks or drop-ins during the day or in the mornings and evenings as needed. I'm an early riser so early visits are fine. I have no other pets in the household but do have a child in the house. Our yard is not fenced so any potty breaks would be supervised and leashed.
