“We were relieved to find Agnes who we trusted with our two puppers for several visits during our wedding! She checked in and was great with sharing photos to let us know they were safe!”

About: Since I’ve been in the industry since 2013, I know what questions to ask pet parents. I have experience with different breeds of dogs and cats. I just relocated to the Easton area and want to continue caring for dogs and cats, my passion. I have part time availability at this point. I treat your dog(s)/cat(s) like they were my own! Instructions will be followed to the letter. Your pets will get lots of love and attention.
About: I’ve owned dogs my whole life and have always had a passion for caring for animals. I currently have two dogs of my own, so I understand how important it is to find someone you can trust with your pets. I also help care for my elderly dog with special needs, giving me experience with senior pets who require extra patience, attention, and gentle care. Whether your pet loves long walks, playtime, or simply lots of cuddles, I’ll make sure they feel safe, loved, and comfortable. My Rover availability is updated monthly as I receive my schedule. You can always check my monthly calendar for my current availability and see which dates I have open. I’m available weekdays and weekends. Or message me if you are in a pinch and I can try and accommodate you! Your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness are my top priorities. I understand how important it is to maintain your pet’s routine, so I’ll follow your instructions closely to help them feel relaxed and at home. Whether that includes daily walks, feeding on a specific schedule, administering medications, bathing, playtime, or simply spending quality time together, I’ll make sure they receive the attentive care they deserve.
“I was unexpectedly admitted to the hospital. Sara was already booked and we had met as I had planned to go away. She modified the booking x2 and my girls seemed happy. There were a few items we reviewed that I felt could be improved and Sara appreciated the feedback. I will use Sara again and hope to give her 5 stars.”

About: If your pet could choose their sitter, I’m hoping they’d pick the person who is already excited to meet them! I’ve grown up around animals my whole life, and I’ve always had a soft spot for the furry members of the family. I haven’t been able to have pets of my own for a while, so I’ve happily adopted my friends’ cats and dogs instead—affectionately calling them my **“furry nieces and nephews.”** I’m the person who wants to hear all about their personality, remembers their favorite treats, and is perfectly happy spending an unreasonable amount of time giving them attention. Last year, I took that love a step further and volunteered at a local animal shelter, where I spent my time walking and caring for dogs. I absolutely loved it and realized that getting to know different animals—and figuring out what makes each one comfortable and happy—is something I genuinely enjoy. What I think sets me apart is that I don’t see pet sitting as simply stopping by to feed a pet and check a box. **I want your pet to actually have a good time while you’re away.** Whether that means a long sniff-filled walk, an energetic game of fetch, a cozy afternoon of cuddles, or simply sitting nearby for a nervous pet who needs some company, I’m happy to meet them where they are. Every animal has their own personality, quirks, routines, and preferences, and I love getting to know them. My goal is for your pets to feel safe, loved, and completely spoiled—and for you to feel confident knowing they’re in good hands. I’m looking for a flexible way to spend more time doing something I genuinely love, and I’d be thrilled to add your pets to my ever-growing list of furry nieces and nephews. ❤️🐶🐱 One of the best things about my schedule is that I work two part-time jobs, and both are very flexible. This allows me to build pet care into my day and offer visits at different times rather than being tied to a traditional 9–5 schedule. I’m available for morning and evening visits during the week, with even more flexibility on the weekends. I can also make multiple visits throughout the day when your pet needs a little extra attention. My typical availability looks like: Mondays & Wednesdays: I have the most flexibility and can usually stop by up to three times throughout the day. Tuesdays, Thursdays & Fridays: These days are a little busier, but I can still provide a morning visit and an evening visit after 4 PM. Weekends: I have more flexibility and can make multiple visits throughout the day depending on your pet’s needs and location. I know every pet has a different routine, and I’m happy to work with you to create a schedule that keeps your pet comfortable and cared for while you’re away. Whether your cat needs a quick morning check-in, some evening playtime, or multiple visits throughout the day, I have the flexibility to make it work. Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my top priorities. When caring for a pet in their home, I treat their space and routine with the same respect I would want for my own home and animals. I take the time to learn your pet’s normal routine, including feeding schedules, medications if needed, litter box or potty routines, favorite toys, hiding spots, and any quirks or behaviors I should know about. I know that cats especially can be sensitive to changes, so I try to keep things as familiar and stress-free as possible while you’re away. I’m also very mindful of home security. I make sure doors are securely closed, follow any instructions regarding alarms or entry, and am careful with windows, doors, and anything else your pet might get into. I’ll never leave a pet in an unsafe situation or do anything outside of the care instructions you’ve provided. Most importantly, I want you to feel comfortable knowing that someone trustworthy is looking after your pet and your home. I’m happy to send updates, photos, and little check-ins so you can see how your furry family member is doing while you’re away. My goal is for your pet to feel safe, loved, and comfortable in their own home—and for you to have peace of mind while you’re away.

“Nicole was wonderful to work with! She squeezed a meeting with us into her schedule on short notice and made sure to take good care of our 2 dogs while we were away for 2 days. She even found a ride with a friend when her car broke down, to make sure our dogs weren’t left alone too long. You can tell she cares about dogs deeply and will treat your pets like her own.”

“Autumn did a great job! She gave attention to all 5 cats, fed them and played with them. One cat needed a pill and the other an insulin injection. She did great and we would have her sit for us again!”

“Chelsea has been such a wonderful addition to our regular schedule ! She is friendly, reliable, timely, and detail oriented. She promptly fills us in on any important happenings throughout her visits. Most importantly she takes such good care of our Sadie girl, and we are so thankful 🙂”

“This was our first experience working with Brittany and we are very happy with her work ethic and professionalism. We were in need of a pet sitter for a last minute family getaway and she answered my request and was at my door greeting and meeting our family/pets the very next morning! Brittany treated not only our pets with kindness and care but also was very respectful of our home. She was very thorough with updates and photos, which I appreciate very much! I would highly recommend Brittany and will absolutely be requesting her pet services again. So so happy we found Brittany through the Rover.com site!”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Zucksville
Sydney was amazing! We had a last minute family event and she was quick to help us out. It was so nice to keep Oakland in our home where she is relaxed and comfortable. I got lots of pictures and updates which just really allowed me to enjoy my time, stress-free. Our girl had a few accidents out of excitement but Sydney handled it and even sent me pictures of where they were so I knew for when I came home. I can't say enough great things about Sydney and we are relieved to know we have someone for the future if she's available. Punctual, on-time, and overall will care for your pet with compassion.

Juliette has been just wonderful to work with! We are truly thankful to have found her and our Rottweiler agrees!! Our most recent experience with Juliette was to provide 3 check-in visits over two days, including at meal time and bedtime. Juliette showed up right on time and spent a full 30 minutes with our boy each time, making sure he was comfortable and all his needs were met! She is reliable, dependable, communicates well, and is great with our 11 year old Rotty! Thank you again, Juliette!!

Amber is the kind of sitter you hope to find but rarely do—clinically competent, deeply attentive, and immediately trustworthy. We were in a genuinely stressful, last-minute situation involving travel complications, a sitter cancellation, and a medically fragile cat who required multiple daily medications. Amber stepped in calmly and professionally and put us at ease from the start. Her veterinary background was immediately apparent—not only in how confidently and correctly she administered medications, but in the quality of her observations and judgment. Her updates were meticulous and genuinely reassuring. She consistently reported on appetite, litter box habits, behavior, breathing, and overall demeanor, with a level of detail that reflected both clinical knowledge and real attentiveness. She handled a nervous, medication-averse cat with patience and skill, never forcing interactions and always prioritizing his comfort and safety. Amber also went above and beyond with practical care—cleaning dishes, tidying feeding areas, checking doors and lights, and making sure everything was exactly as it should be before leaving. Her communication was impeccable: punctual arrival and departure notices, clear explanations of what was done, thoughtful questions when appropriate, and precise adherence to instructions. In a situation where trust truly mattered, Amber earned ours completely. We would book her again without hesitation and recommend her without reservation, especially to anyone with cats who require medical care or a sitter with true clinical competence and excellent judgment.

Frequently asked questions about Rover
Rover is the largest marketplace for local pet care. Whether you're looking for pet sitters, dog walkers, or house sitters who specialize in pet sitting, you can narrow your search by entering your ZIP code to find sitters within walking distance in your neighborhood.
You and your sitter can agree on a care schedule that fits your pet’s routine and the sitter’s availability. Pet Sitting can be booked as a one-time or recurring drop-in visit. If you need overnight care or dog walks, you may also be able to book House Sitting or Dog Walking through Rover with the same sitter, provided they offer those services.
Before booking, confirm:
- the timing, length, and frequency of visits;
- the care instructions the sitter should follow;
- which parts of your pet’s usual routine should be prioritized;
- how often you would like to receive messages, photos, or other updates.
Not every sitter offers the same services, availability, or booking options. Review their profile and discuss the care you need through Rover before booking each service.
If you would like updates while you’re away, you can discuss with your sitter how many or how frequent you’d like those updates to be. The Rover app allows sitters to send photos, videos, and messages about your pet, including how many pee or poop breaks occurred. You can message your sitter at any time through the app and our support team is available 24/7 by email or chat if you have concerns.
The personalized, in-home nature of pet care through Rover can mean more individual attention for your pet.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a casual meeting to vet potential sitters and communicate care needs for peace of mind before a booking begins. Only sitters who have never booked with you before can schedule a Meet & Greet on Rover; however, you are welcome to coordinate one in Rover messages with sitters you have previously booked. This can be helpful if you have a new pet or routine you want to go over with your sitter.
Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone.
