About: My name is Sophia and I am the owner of Cozy Canine Retreat, a home-based, personalized pet care experience built around calm, structured, and attentive care. I hold a degree in Animal Science along with Equine Business Management & Training, and I spent three years volunteering with a service dog organization, supporting basic obedience training and socialization. This background allows me to confidently work with a wide range of temperaments, routines, and care needs. At home, I care for four dogs, a horse, and a turtle, giving me daily, hands-on experience with animals of different sizes, energy levels, and personalities. My boyfriend and I provide care together, which allows for increased supervision and flexibility. Because we work different shifts, there is often someone available, ensuring pets receive consistent attention throughout the day. Through Cozy Canine Retreat, my goal is to provide a safe, calm, and thoughtfully curated care experience where every pet feels comfortable, secure, and well cared for. Pet care is seamlessly built into my daily routine. I work full-time remotely Monday–Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, allowing me to be home and available throughout the day for supervision, potty breaks, meals, and enrichment. My evenings and weekends are open and flexible to accommodate extended stays and special care needs. Additionally, my boyfriend works a 3:00 PM–1:00 AM shift, which creates overlapping coverage in the home and helps ensure pets are not left alone for long periods. This schedule allows me to provide a calm, attentive, and well-supervised environment, aligned with the level of care offered through Cozy Canine Retreat. At Cozy Canine Retreat, we care for your pet as if they were our own. Your pet’s comfort, safety, and well-being are our top priorities. We create a calm, structured, and supervised environment where pets feel secure, relaxed, and loved. We take the time to learn each pet’s routines, preferences, and personality, ensuring they feel just as comfortable with us as they do at home. Whether it’s playtime, meals, or quiet rest, every detail is tailored to provide trustworthy, individualized care.

Samantha did an excellent job walking and feeding my dog while I was away. My dog has a sensitive stomach and unfortunately she had two accidents. Samantha helped clean up the accidents and gave my dog probiotics to help her stomach. I would highly recommend Samantha she was highly reliable and provided frequent updates.

About: *HOUSE SITTING TEMPORARILY STOPPED* I am still open to short stay house sitting requests and repeat customers, if I am available. Please send a Day Care request to inquire for now. I've owned and cared for all different kinds of pets my whole life. I've watched family and friends' pets ever since I was a teen, from dogs and cats to fish and hermit crabs. I personally have more animals than I do friends! 😂 I am new to Texas and thought I'd extend my love to my community and their pets since I'm no longer living near friends and family. I know what it's like to put your trust in a stranger to take care of your pet babies, I'd like to be your peace of mind and know your pet is in good, loving hands!❤️ I currently work from home Mon-Sat, integrating pet care into my daily routine is a task I have mastered by now! My work schedule is very flexible and mobile which allows me to provide consistent companionship and attention to my furry friends throughout the day. I take multiple breaks to enjoy walks, playtime, and cuddles, ensuring they feel loved and engaged while I tackle my tasks. The safety and care of your pet is VERY important to me. All walks are leashed and dedicated to your pet(s) only. Any off leash play will be in my secure, fenced yard or yours. Interactions with other pets will be avoided for safety unless intructed otherwise by you. You can trust that while I'm in your home I do not allow guests, I am a non-smoker and I'm willing to do a little extra such as checking mail, watering plants, etc at your request.

About: I have been around all sorts of animals since my first memory! Growing up I was around breeds such as chow-chows, rottweilers and the most vicious of all, chihuahuas ;) from birth to the end. I currently have 4 doggies and 1 kitty all between the ages of 5-14. I work from home with a very flexible schedule. I like to also work at coffee shops, by water, so am able to be outside my neighborhood as well! :} My dogs are able to roam around as they wish. I do not like to crate them, and they have their own rooms when I do need to leave. Daily walks and hanging out outside is one of our favorite things to do. Just like us, we all need love in our way so if pets and cuddles are needed that works, or just simply letting out for exercise is their jam, I am here for it!

About: Feel free to ask me about pricing! After being diagnosed with a chronic illness, I turned pet sitting into my full time passion. Working from home gives me the flexibility to care for your babies any time and anywhere. With over nine years of experience, I have been a dedicated caretaker for animals of all sizes. My services include walking, bathing, feeding, sitting, and boarding pets. I have a lot of experience with elderly, reactive, and ill pets. When house-sitting, I ensure your pets are well-cared for with regular walks, feeding, watering, and bathing as needed, along with additional household tasks like watering plants. During drop-in visits, I provide feeding, watering, and playtime for at least 30 minutes, extending the time if your pets need extra attention and care. I particularly enjoy daily dog walks, whether it's through a local park or a favorite trail specified by the owner. Every service comes with plenty of photos and updates, keeping you connected with your beloved pets. What sets me apart is the genuine connection I develop with each animal. I truly assess and respond to their needs and emotions, going beyond the basic requirements because I genuinely care. For your convenience, I offer same-day booking and cancellation to accommodate your schedule. If you have any questions, please feel free to email, call, or text me at any time. I look forward to meeting you and your furry friend! If I am booked for your pet, they are my main priority. My routine revolves around them as if they were my own. The more time I get to spend with furry friends the better! Each pet is different and require different levels of attention. I am happy to fill in for the owner in any way that is needed. Sometimes that looks like standing outside with the pet during potty time. Sometimes that looks like ensuring nothing in left out on the ground or counters. I also do not take any pet to a place that is unsafe or that I or the owner are unfamiliar with. Safety first!

Being new to the Rover community, Jenny was patient, helpful, and very responsive, answering all of my questions and concerns. I was a little worried at first, that my 60lb high energy dog might be a bit too much for any walker, but after the first walk, Jenny put my mind at ease. Jenny is very punctual and will treat your pet as her own. I already booked Jenny for the following week and plan to only use her for all of my dog’s needs!

About: I’ve always been around pets. I grew up watching my grandma pet sit for people and I thought it was so cool. Once she passed away, my aunt took over her business and I helped out sometimes as well. It was always a fun time. My daughter also has a huge love for animals and I know any pet that we get the privilege to care for would be so loved and in extra good hands with her help. I am a stay at home mom of three so I know that caring for pets is something totally feasible for my daily routine and lifestyle I have a fenced backyard and a male yorkie that I’m sure would love to play with other dogs. I crate our dog while we are gone or at night when sleeping.

About: I'm a co-founder and secretary of an animal rescue organization called Kingdom Rescue based out of Luling but serves rural counties across TX. Our rescue specializes in rescuing dogs and cats of all sizes and backgrounds to rehabilitate them for their forever home. My heart has always been for animals and people, big, and small. My husband is also a shared animal lover and helps me with pet sitting, when schedule conflicts may arise. He is an active volunteer with our rescue and has a tender touch with all animals! 10% of proceeds earned from Rover.com will go towards Kingdom Rescue, a 501(c)3 animal rescue organization. The price for an overnight stay is $100/night (12 hours). I can accommodate the best time for you and your pet. Drop in's are $30 for a 30 minute visit and $5 for each additional pet. Each drop in includes food/water, potty breaks and medicine (if needed). Rover only allows me to enter overnight (12 hours) as one service but if you want either of us to stay during day, I can modify after you book. Also, if you want to schedule day time drop in's a couple of times a day that's an option, too. When you book through the app, I can adjust the pricing, as needed. My husband, Robert, and I started this part-time gig with a mutual lover for animals. He also is a huge animal lover and helps me when I am working or have another appointment. Off limit times include: -Saturday's - 2-6 pm (Church) I am very attentive to an animal's needs when they are in my care. The first meeting with your pet would be to better understand what makes them happy and how they like to be communicated with. Once we are confident in the home or one-on-one during a walk with the animal, I will be attentive to their needs for food/water, play time, quality time, walk time or nap time. We understand the importance of safety standards with good leashes/collars, busy roads, other animals, and people near by. We would be sure to keep your animal safe at all times in our care.
