“Our normal sitter canceled on us, but Donna was available and fantastic for our pup Kodi! She has a large house with multiple levels of gates to keep dogs safely indoors. Her backyard has a nice side yard where our dog loved to go for long zoomies. Donna kept us updated and sent lots of cute photos. Highly recommend!”

“She had my dog for around a month and was amazing!! She sent daily pictures and videos/updates and kept me up to date with how my dog was. I will be coming back to her every time I need my dog watched!”

“Jacqueline was amazing! Ollie stayed with her for 5 nights and had so much fun. He got along well with her lab, Trixie and her cat. She was sure to communicate with me every day on how well Ollie was doing. I've already booked another stay with her, and I recommend her to anyone!”

“Maggs was great. She gave daily updates and pictures and there were plenty of dogs for our pup to play with. Bucky seemed to love her and didn’t want to leave. :)”

“Alan and Lynn have a fantastic setup inside their home for dogs. They keep their house and backyard very clean. Our two little dogs were happy when we picked them up and they cut and buffed one of my dogs nails, saving us a trip to the Vet. Alan and Lynn kept in close touch with us, sending pictures throughout the days our dogs were in their care. They replied in a timely manner whenever I sent them a message. That is a huge plus.”

“Katherine is wonderful with our little fur babies. I don’t worry at all when they are with her. They love her very much. We will definitely be going back to Katherine.”

“Lauren got to know my dogs personalities. One is a small, low maintenance dog that likes kind words and an ear scratch. The other is a rough and tumble 8 month old active dog. I could tell that they both got what they needed. The pictures were clearly showing them in their settings- outside and inside. I was very happy. And so we’re they.”

“My dogs have a dog door and someone home pretty much all the time. They come and go out the door as they please and Cindy was able to provide a similar routine + her dogs = bonus friends! Cindy is a pleasure to work with. She is well equipped for the job and everything went smoothly. I I knew they were in good hands while I was away!”

“Our boy Shadow has stayed with Wendy twice and she’s great! I love getting pictures of him throughout the day and love that he gets to socialize with her animals. Great communication throughout each stay. Highly recommend!”

“Amber took very good care of our dog Prince during an overnight stay in her home. She kept us updated on how he was doing through texts and pics. She is very prompt when responding to messages which I really appreciate. Prince was kept entertained and active playing with her puppy, so much so that once he got home he knocked out. Amber and her family were super friendly. I will definitely rebook with Amber in the future.”

Kristen was very accommodating with an early dropoff. We will definitely call on Kristen again next time we need a sitter for Chloe.”

“Teryca is an amazing sitter. She's patient, loving with the dogs and understands their needs. She watched my dog for 6 nights and even after a flight delay caused a delay in pick-up time she was very flexible and understanding. My dog was happy, healthy and I could tell that he was well cared for. She also sent videos and pics during our time away from him, which meant a great deal to my husband and I.”

“Steve and Randi were absolutely amazing! We felt so comfortable leaving our puppy there. They kept us updated and sent lots of wonderful pictures. We will definitely use them and cannot imagine a better couple to watch our precious puppy.”

My dogs love going to her home, and I can always count on her for regular updates that give me peace of mind. Stephanie’s reliability, kindness, and genuine love for animals make her hands down the best! “Amazing experience! Michael was fantastic with my dog, Niko! He was very attentive and made sure Niko had his daily walks and two meals a day. Michael spent time playing with him and kept me updated 2–3 times a day with texts and videos, which really put my mind at ease. Niko looked happy and well cared for the whole time. I’ll definitely be bringing Niko back to Michael again—highly recommend!”

“She was great!!!! We had an emergency pop up and needed last minute care. She was able to help even though we didn’t provide a whole lot of notice which we REALLY appreciated!”

“Janie took wonderful care of our kitten, Sasha, while we were away for two weeks. Sasha is an extremely active, dog-like cat with a big personality, and Janie took the time to really understand her. She played all of Sasha's favorite games, gave her lots of cuddles, made sure she was eating well, and kept us updated with frequent messages and adorable photos that gave us complete peace of mind. As an extra special touch, Janie even crocheted Sasha a little toy, which has quickly become her favorite! We came home to a happy, healthy, well-loved kitten, and it's clear she received so much attention and affection while we were gone. I couldn't recommend Janie more highly. If you're looking for someone who will care for your pet as if they were her own, she's absolutely the person to choose.”

“Another great experience with Diane! Unfortunately I have a kitty who wasn't feeling well and Diane went above and beyond to clean up the mess 🫣 Both cats warmed up to her so quickly and we are so grateful for the photos and videos, which confirmed what we already knew, that our babies were in great hands.”

“Lauren took care of our cat Tesla who is very shy with visitors. During our meet and greet she was very cautious and sweet when meeting Tesla. I could tell that she is very comfortable around animals, even when they are more reserved with new people. She kept us updated with pictures and comments while we were away. I would definitely recommend her and would ask her to take care of our cat again!”

“Played with our cat the whole time every day she went for a visit. She even went above and beyond by helping with the litter box. we will definitely ask Mary for drop-in visits in the future.”

“Tresalyn did a wonderful job looking after my two kitties, especially with one being extremely shy! She made me feel so comfortable leaving them in her care by sending photos, reassuring they have food, water, clean litter, etc. I highly recommend Tresalyn to watch your fur babies!!!”

“Danielle took wonderful care of Hunter while I was away on vacation. She made sure he was safe, well-fed, and showed him genuine love and affection. I felt completely at ease knowing Hunter was in such caring hands. I’d highly recommend Danielle to anyone looking for a trustworthy pet sitter.”

“This is my second time booking Tim, and just as before, he did a great job. Tim gave me regular updates, pics, and voluntarily went above and beyond the usual sitter expectations. My two cats are familiar with and fond of Tim -- I don't even know how he does that. I have no problem recommending Tim for anyone who needs peace of mind for their pets.”

“I’ve booked Amber three times for drop-in visits with my cats, and she’s been great every time. She’s always punctual, friendly, and sends regular updates. I can tell she truly cares about my cats, which makes all the difference. Highly recommend!”

Perfect for high energy dogs - Zipp
“This was my second time using Stephanie and Rover, in less than a week, and once again I couldn’t be happier! Stephanie was so kind and understanding whenever I had questions or felt a little unsure, and she kept me updated whenever I asked. As a first-time Rover user, I truly couldn’t have asked for a better sitter or experience. I’m so grateful for the care she showed and definitely hope to book with her again. Highly recommend!”

“She cares just like family. She takes such good care of Quatro 💞. He loves going to her home. It’s clean and tidy which is very important to me. It brings me peace that I know that Quatro is being taken care of in such an excellent manner.”

“Abbie and Patrick have been great! It was a last minute two full days due to the crazy schedule changes going on right now! So we were super grateful and what comes to mind the most is the phrase “a tired puppy is a happy puppy”! Coco knocked out as soon as she got home to her bed, which just reassures me she had a super fun day and was well taken care of the entire time. Great communication and lots of pretty pictures! We will definitely turn to Abbie again if she will have our little Coco back ?”

“Martina was friendly and obviously a dog lover. My old Chihuahua was confused why I would leave her, but I could tell by the many photos she sent to me throughout the day, that my pup was safe & secure. Thank you Martina &Till . 🥰”

“Angela always takes such good care of Bixby. We deeply appreciate the extra care and communication she gives regarding our small puppy. We're happy to rebook and trust he'll be well taken care of every time ❤️😁”

“Super caring and attentive pet sitter. I took my puppy to her three days a week so I could go to work. I could not stand thinking about leaving him at home alone when he was only eight weeks old. Elisa took him outside every couple of hours. She made sure he was loved and comfortable and did not have to cry it out. He is now 10 weeks old and strong enough to be on his own at home when I go to work but my doggie became good friends with her doggy and enjoys playing with other little doggies that come in for doggy daycare. So I’m going to continue bringing him to Elisa for as long as I possibly can. He lights up and gets so excited to see her when I drop him off. I know he is in good hands”

“Kristen was an excellent dog sitter! She and her family were very kind enough to allow me to tour their home where my dog would be staying. I am very impressed with how responsive she was in our communications. Also, I appreciated the photo updates of how my dog was doing! Will definitely be visiting again in the near future.”

Care includes, feeding, watering, play-time, going for walks, and any other care at your request!

“Snowflake was well taken care of for the day while we got to explore the not so dog friendly parts of San Antonio. Breanna was very responsive, friendly, and flexible making it a great experience for us out of towners!”

“I can't put into words how special Stacy and Alvin are - we were traveling with our puppy and needed to arrange for a playdate while we were doing an all day activity. Stacy was so warm and gracious when initially requesting, that I immediately felt comfortable with her. Upon meeting her in person, that same warmth came through! Our baby had a blast with she and Alvin - she also magically matured after spending time with them - an added and unexpected bonus! I would recommend Stacy 100% - she really loves the pups and makes sure they are well taken care of - couldn't ask for more than that when trusting someone with your babies! Thanks Stacy and Alvin!”

“Cassie provided doggy day care while we were in town for a funeral. My 82 lb baby came home exhausted from playing with her golden. So thankful she had a fun play day that wore her our!”

“This was my first time using Rover.com. I was in the area from out of state for a family wedding. I connected with Autumn based on her excellent reviews from other pet parents. “Samantha did an excellent job walking and feeding my dog while I was away. My dog has a sensitive stomach and unfortunately she had two accidents. Samantha helped clean up the accidents and gave my dog probiotics to help her stomach. I would highly recommend Samantha she was highly reliable and provided frequent updates.”

About: Yup, I was that kid who dressed her puppy in doll clothes, I promise not to do that unless you want me to. Happy Tails I’m flexible with my hours. I'm that person who brings home every stray. So….My husband wants us to have less animals so this way I have time to love on yours. I have a fence for dogs to play and do there business. About: My name is Sophia and I am the owner of Cozy Canine Retreat LLC, a home-based, insured, and personalized pet care experience built around calm, structured, and attentive care. I hold a degree in Animal Science along with Equine Business Management & Training, and I spent three years volunteering with a service dog organization, supporting basic obedience training and socialization. This background allows me to confidently work with a wide range of temperaments, routines, and care needs. At home, I care for four dogs, a horse, and a turtle, giving me daily, hands-on experience with animals of different sizes, energy levels, and personalities. My boyfriend and I provide care together, which allows for increased supervision and flexibility. Because we work different shifts, there is often someone available, ensuring pets receive consistent attention throughout the day. Through Cozy Canine Retreat, my goal is to provide a safe, calm, and thoughtfully curated care experience where every pet feels comfortable, secure, and well cared for. Pet care is seamlessly built into my daily routine. I work full-time remotely Monday–Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, allowing me to be home and available throughout the day for supervision, potty breaks, meals, and enrichment. My evenings and weekends are open and flexible to accommodate extended stays and special care needs. Additionally, my boyfriend works a 3:00 PM–1:00 AM shift, which creates overlapping coverage in the home and helps ensure pets are not left alone for long periods. This schedule allows me to provide a calm, attentive, and well-supervised environment, aligned with the level of care offered through Cozy Canine Retreat. At Cozy Canine Retreat, we care for your pet as if they were our own. Your pet’s comfort, safety, and well-being are our top priorities. About: I have always grown up with many different types of pets throughout my life and have always loved animals. I’ve taken on volunteering roles with animal shelters as well to help provide care to all pets in need. My family has also always entrusted me with watching all their animals while they are away on travels as well. I’m currently taking online classes with a fully open schedule throughout the week expect mainly Thursday's to volunteer. I’m hoping that with the use of rover I’m able to get out more and spend time meeting new furry friends. :) I like to make sure all pets weather I’m having them in my home or checking on them at others to always be properly looked after and given lots of love.

About: I’ve been around animals my entire life and genuinely love caring for them. I have experience with a wide variety of pets including dogs, cats, birds, corn snakes, bunnies, and chickens. I started dog sitting at 16 and have regularly cared for my cousin’s three dogs for multi-day stays. I also pet sit for my uncle’s small dog, Halsey, and previously cared for my sister’s cat for several months. I’m comfortable managing multiple pets at once and always make sure each one gets the attention they deserve. At home, I have an 8-year-old Shih Tzu who definitely runs the house — and I happily spoil her! I’m very patient with senior pets and those who may have accidents or need extra cleanup. While I don’t offer full grooming, I’m always happy to give baths in the comfort of your pet’s home when needed. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness are my top priorities. I treat every animal like family and provide lots of love, updates, and attentive care. :)) I currently work a part-time job only two days per week, so I have very open availability for pet care. My usual unavailable days are Sundays and Wednesdays. If my schedule ever changes, I always know at least a week in advance and will keep clients fully updated. I take my commitments seriously and do my best to avoid last-minute cancellations (Which has never happened!). Clear communication and reliability are very important to me, and I always respect my clients’ time and plans. Caring for pets in their own home is often the most comfortable and least stressful for them, and I always aim to keep their routine as normal as possible. I pay close attention to each pet’s behavior and personality, whether they’re very social or prefer to warm up at their own pace. I’m happy to provide plenty of affection, playtime, walks, or quiet cuddle time — whatever your pet enjoys most. I always follow your care instructions closely and make sure your pet feels safe, loved, and well cared for while you’re away. I also provide regular photo and message updates so you can feel confident your pet is in good hands.

“Steve and Randi were absolutely amazing! We felt so comfortable leaving our puppy there. They kept us updated and sent lots of wonderful pictures. We will definitely use them and cannot imagine a better couple to watch our precious puppy.”

“Susan was great. She took care of my babies as if they were her own and sent daily updates so I knew how they were doing. I definitely recommend her if you are looking for someone to watch your dog and I’ll definitely be contacting her if I need another sitter.”

“Martina was wonderful. She sent several videos and pictures of our Hero everyday which was very appropriated. Hero also got along so well with Martina’s dog which was very nice too. Thank you for caring for our Hero we appreciate you, and will definitely use your services again.”

“Nicole is a delightful young lady. Our pugs spent a short week with her and they came home happy and healthy. Our female is older with both sight and hearing issues. Our male is a rambunctious, energetic, and single-minded on his next meal. She said they were both great visitors. Very nice to have a reliable pet sitter who cares for your fur babies. Highly recommend Nicole and we will be using her services again in the future. Paul & Ellen”

“Pamela was wonderful she kept us up to date through the day. She also send us pictures keeping us comfortable. It was a pleasure having her pet sit for us. My boys had an amazing time.”

“Becky was absolutely wonderful with my dogs - the frequent updates with photos and videos put our minds at ease, and my pups seemed to love their time there. Definitely recommend her services if you need a great sitter!”

About: I've been working with animals for the past 5 Years! I started as a dog daycare attendant for a year where I learned how to read dog body language and behavior as well as how to handle emergency situations with dogs. I then became a full time pet sitter on my own and would watch all kinds of animals from household reptiles, small animals, cat, and of course dogs! After 1 year of this I switched to part time sitter to become a full time dog trainer! I trained for a year before becoming a manager at a pet hotel. I love my job to this day and still care for dogs and cats at my current job! I'm currently a stay at home mom for my babies so I am always home a ready to provide care! I usually (as weather permits of course) take a morning walk between 8-10am with my dog and my boarding friends, hang out around the house and backyard until our evening walk before bed around 8-10pm after the sun is down! I am constantly boarding dogs in my home so I do have extra crates if needed otherwise I only have 1 dog of my own who is a St. Bernard and is pretty lazy so he will be there to keep my boarding dogs company but also knows to nap if the other dogs need a break from playing. When I go to clients homes I always find a way to occupy my time with my clients and keep my attention on those animals!
“Lovely and her husband did a great job of taking care of my high energy pup! Lovely was always quick to respond and sent us photo updates. My pup got along great with the family’s dogs, too.”

“Crystal and her family took great care of our dog over the holidays. Her dog is friendly, and her backyard has a nice tall fence and plenty of room to run around. We appreciated Crystal's responsiveness and the cute pictures she took of our dogs playing together. Our dog seemed happy, and we would book with Crystal again.”

“My dogs had an awesome time with this family. I could tell they were loved and got loads of pictures daily. They went on long walks and had fun with their pups. Great communication. I would definitely recommend and use them again.”

“Highly recommend, went above and beyond to make sure a baby was taken care of. Our puppy is very nervous around new people and does not eat well until he gets to know people. Orlando was in constant communication with us including videos and pics. When we discussed Luca's eating habits he went and got raw meat for him and hand fed him when needed. I truly appreciate this.”
