“I’m a first time Rover user, Rajesh did a wonderful job taking care of Coco and his various care needs. He sent daily updates and videos of Coco having fun and being spoiled. He truly cares very much for the pups in his care and I will definitely use him again. Thank you Rajesh!”

“This was my first DogVacay experience and I am so impressed with Mary! I live 30 minutes away from Mary, but it was worth the drive. You can tell when you walk into her home that Mary and her husband are truly dog lovers and take good care of their/other's pets. She sent me picture nearly daily while we were away for 8 days which was so nice to just know how our dog was doing and to simply see him. She was very flexible with drop off and pickup. I even had to change our dates and she had no problem accommodating the change request. I intend to use Mary moving forward for all of my vacations as Wrigley was very happy to stay with her and was taken such good care of. Near or far from your home, Mary is worth the drive if you want your pet to be in a very loving home! ”
“Gwen and her family were amazing with my older dog, Atlas. She sent pictures often, and Atlas looked very comfortable and at home - even wrapped in warm, cuddly blankets on the many comfy dog beds or on the sofa. Gwen's setup is very similar to mine at home, and Atlas enjoyed his stay very much. I already have my next visit scheduled!”

“Jane was an amazing dog sitter for our dog, Olive. Jane's dog, Mandu, was a great playmate for Olive. We received many updates and photos which were much appreciated. :) We will definitely be using Jane again!”

“Diana & Kevin took such good care of our anxious pup, Gus. They sent us updates and were so sweet to him! Highly recommend. We can’t wait to use Diana & Kevin again soon.”

“Christopher was great to work with! He was super sweet to my dog, spoke highly of him and followed all my care directions. He was highly communicative and very flexible! I appreciate his care! We have already booked our next boarding stay with him.”

“My pup Hugo had a wonderful stay with Maureen and her dog Jordan! We had a nice meet and greet prior to Hugo’s stay. Maureen was wonderful with flexible drop off and pickup times. Great communication with pictures sent daily. Thank you so much Maureen! Hugo will look forward to another stay soon :)”

“Hank had a great stay with Richard! Richard sent videos or photos every day to stay in touch and always replied very quickly if I had questions! Hank will definitely be returning.”

“Janay and her family took such great care of our fur baby! I don't think she wanted to come home. I am so grateful we were able to relax on vacation knowing our baby was in good hands. Janey sent plenty of pics and remained in communication our whole stay”

“I am delighted to have entrusted my dog to Ms. Karen. He thoroughly enjoyed his time, evident from the photos she kindly shared. Ms. Karen provided excellent care, and I would certainly choose her services again. Grateful for your attention, Ms. Karen!”

“Rachel and her family did an amazing job of taking care of our dogs during our vacation. It was great to not have to worry about our pets during our vacation and I know they enjoyed their time with Rachel much more than their previous “boarding” stays at traditional kennels. Beautiful home, large fenced yard. We will definitely book again!”

“Gabriella was amazing with Skylar. From the minute we met at the meet and greet to her 4 night stay with her. Lots of pictures and updates. Skylar was living her best life! Will definitely be using her again! Thank you!!!”

“Levi stayed with Stacy during the holiday and Stacy made sure to give us frequent updates. Her son and her pup were also really welcoming to our pups. Stacy also was really accommodating of our drop-off and pick-up!”

“Sara was very thoughtful and communicated during our Doberman’s stay and sent amazing photos. She made both drop off and pick up seamless as well. Looking forward to booking again with Sara in the future!”

“Aricel was absolutely amazing! She loved our Cooper like family! She sent us pictures daily of their activities. Aricel even taught our fur baby a new trick during his week stay! Cooper felt right at home with Aricel and we had no worries while on vacation. Would absolutely recommend Aricel to anyone and will definitely book again for our next trip!”

Highly recommend Brian to board your pet. He provided great care to our Max for entire week. We felt very comfortable leaving our dog with Brian with no worries while on our vacation. He kept us updated with pictures on how well Max was adjusting, thanks again Brian!

Hope and her husband did amazing with Brody! She had great communication before and during his stay and showed so much love and care for Brody. All of his specific routines and needs were met perfectly, and Hope asked lots of questions to make sure his life remained as normal as it can be when he was away from home. She went above and beyond to make sure he stayed safe and healthy by handling a surprise tick situation wonderfully (she found a tick in her home after a walk and proceeded to check him for ticks daily). Brody had a great time on ”vacation” at Hope’s, I would bring him back any time!

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
