Because of our most recent dog, I know how stressful it can be for an animal to be away from their family. It would be my goal to keep their schedule and needs as close to normal as possible and be sure to give them extra love. I will also be more than happy to send as many or as few updates as the family would like - to ensure that all is well. There are no animals in our home currently, and we live very close to the Monon trail (so walking would be a breeze). I also have dog gates, a dog crate, and a couch/bed ramp if needed. The first floor of our home is laminate, and the stairs and all rooms upstairs are carpet.

Information Hope V. would like to know about your pet
I'm happy to administer medications, prepare specialty food, and do any other tasks that will help your pet feel more at home. Any information / history you can give us will help us give your animal the best care.
A typical day
I have lots of great access to walks and places to adventure with your pup. Since we don't have a fenced in yard, things like outdoor fetching will be more difficult. BUT there's lots of room inside our house for off-leash play. And for those dogs/cats that are more low-key and love to cuddle, I welcome that any time!

Pet care experience
**Wild story short- I found out in June that I have a brain tumor. I’ll be having surgery to remove it, and that means I won’t be able to Rover any animals for probably a long while. Thank you to all of my amazing families and clients for an amazing season! I love you all! My schedule is currently very open, and I work from home. Up until last year, my husband and I had a dog named Kona. She had lots of quirks and unique needs - so I know how important it is to find someone to watch your animals that will do what is necessary to make the animals comfortable. Growing up we had a basset hound, horses, outdoor cats, turtles, fish, lizards, ducks, rabbits, and so many more. I will take great pride in providing the best care for your furry (or scaly) pet. I hope to make it a home away from home for them.

Reviews
Hope V. cancelled a booking within a day of the start date.

Hope and her husband did amazing with Brody! She had great communication before and during his stay and showed so much love and care for Brody. All of his specific routines and needs were met perfectly, and Hope asked lots of questions to make sure his life remained as normal as it can be when he was away from home. She went above and beyond to make sure he stayed safe and healthy by handling a surprise tick situation wonderfully (she found a tick in her home after a walk and proceeded to check him for ticks daily). Brody had a great time on ”vacation” at Hope’s, I would bring him back any time!

Hope did a great job watching my two dogs. They had a great time. She played with them, fed them, loved on them and walked them. She communicated throughout the booking. It was a good experience.

Asked Hope to do a drop in visit with our dog while we were gone for an afternoon/ evening. She confirmed visit then asked follow up questions to ensure she knew exactly what we wanted her to do, communicated with us during the visit, and sent pics afterwards. She is very professional and caring. We hope to have her help with our dog again soon!
