About: I treat your pet like my own. (I have a 2 year old Australian shepherd and a 4 year old cat, both of whom I love dearly.) And I’m a classically trained artist who offers a one time 15% off pet portrait prices for people who book house sitting with me for over 7 days. I’ve been pet sitting since I was a child and my friends, family and neighbors have all hired me to look after their animals. As you can see by my photos, I’ve taken care of everything from dogs and cats to chickens! I would love to introduce myself to your fur-baby and see if we’re a good fit. Although I will stay the entire night with your pet, I will occasionally need time away to go to the grocery store and run errands. If your pet needs 24 hours of care, I can provide this for $50 more per night. Feel free to specify this in our initial point of communication. Your pet's care is my priority. I schedule their needs into my day first and work my day around it. I try to follow the schedule you keep with your fur baby so there is as little stress or disruption in routine as possible while you're gone. I am a diligent note taker when given instructions and have no problems clarifying instructions that aren’t clear. I follow those instructions to the tee.
“Briana was wonderful taking care of our fur kids. She went above by making sure our 16 yr old cat was safe after not being able to find her in the morning. She went back to make sure she was safe and found her. My routine with my pets is a bit crazy because they take pills other supplements. She did everything right and even watered a plant that's out back, every day! I'd have her sit for my pets again in a heartbeat!”

“Breanna went above and beyond for my kitty! She sent detailed updates and pictures throughout her time here, and knowing she was getting all the love and attention made it so much easier being gone for so long. My cat even ended up having an ear infection and is terrible with ear drops, and she gave them to her for about a week with no problem. I will definitely use Breanna in the future, thank you so much!!!☺️”

“Therese is a rockstar. My senior dog immediately took to her and enjoys her company. She makes sure everything as it should be, and asks questions of anything seems out of place.”

About: As a former junior dog musher I have experience caring for everything from four legged athletes to total couch potatoes. I've cared for seniors, puppies, and all dogs in-between. I even have some experience with cats and birds! As an all around lover of pets and a dog owner myself, I understand that nothing is more important than knowing your furry family member is cared for while you're away. My schedule is typically very open as my other obligations are based online as a computer technology student. I am available any day of the week and most holidays. I will always walk dogs on a leash with a secure through the handle loop hold if they are outside in a non fenced space.

About: I’ve taking care of dogs and cats my whole life. I live in an apartment and have two cats. I love dogs and I can’t have one here in the apartment complex. So this is my way I can get my needs met. I’m a very caring and dedicated person to my clients and their dogs and cats. I have two cats and they love sitting with me and watching TV. I mean it they watch TV with me. My one cat has to smell every food that I eat. She won’t always eat it but she has to smell it or she won’t leave me alone. Love that girl. I live in an apartment but I can easily drop in feed, walk them and play with them. Staying overnight is fine with me as well.
“Hannah was great with Loaf! She gave updates and made sure to send lots of photos. I know he was well taken care of and loved on during the drop ins. Would definitely book with her again!”

“Whitney started doing drop by visits and has been great to work with. She is patient and caring and my girl is really warming up to her quickly. I would recommend her to a friend or family!”

“Robyn is incredible. She came to the rescue during an emergency without even blinking. Extremely Grateful for her kindness towards Hudson, and her excellent communication skills. ❤️🐾”
About: I have taken care of animals since I was 4 years old and I got my first puppy. I raised that puppy and another until they got to be 14 and 16 years old. I also had many pets in-between, from hamsters, bunnies, fish, tortoises, lizards, and more ! I have always been the person my family and friends go to to care for their pets. Not only do I watch and sit for them, I also do grooming and health care if needed. I care for my pets most of the day, playing, feeding, and spending time with them. I have a lot of time to care for pets. I make sure pets are happy and healthy. They have appropriate feedings, fun and safe playtime, and they are picked up after in case there are any messes.
“I was pleased with Karsyn taking care of my Maggie while I was gone for a few days over Thanksgiving, She arrived on time and stayed the hour that she was assigned. She made sure to send me pictures and updates on the days she was here. I used her as a drop in caregiver for just a few days to cover during the days my regular sitter wasn't available. The only problem I had was when I contacted her I didn't realize her profile information hadn't been updated. I wanted someone to do overnight coverage which she wasn't available to do since the birth of her little boy. It all worked out as I had another gal covering the rest of the time. She and Maggie seemed to get along just fine and she was reliable. I would use her again without hesitation.”
About: I have over 2 years of experience dog sitting and walking, and I genuinely love getting to know each pup’s personality.I’ve mostly worked with small to medium dogs, but I’ve also cared for big breeds like Great Danes—so I’m comfortable with dogs of all sizes! Whether it’s walks, feeding, playtime, or just keeping them company, I always stick to your dog’s routine so they feel safe and comfortable. I’m reliable, patient, and will treat your dog like my own 💛 You can also expect lots of updates and cute pictures while you’re away! Pet care fits easily into my routine as a Radiologic Tech student. I am available anytime Friday through Sundays for walks, check-ins, and housesitting. I keep pets safe and comfortable based on the client's home and backyard. I follow instructions closely and can crate dogs if that’s part of their normal routine.
About: Hi! I've spent many years caring for a wide variety of animals, including cats, dogs, birds, horses, and goats. My experience with both household pets and larger animals has taught me how to recognize different personalities, understand animal behavior, and provide attentive, compassionate care. Whether your pet needs a quick potty break, feeding, playtime, exercise, companionship, or extra patience and attention, I'm committed to making them feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you're away. I understand that trusting someone with your pets is a big decision, and I treat every animal in my care as if they were my own. I pride myself on being dependable, detail-oriented, and communicative. You can expect regular updates and photos during each visit so you can have peace of mind knowing your pets are happy and well cared for. I work from home Monday-Friday. I have a few brakes throughout my day. I can stop by on one of my breaks or after I get off work at 2pm. I have a fenced in yard surround by a block wall. We live on a quiet street in a quiet neighborhood. I have 2 pretty good doggos. We will go on walks when its cooler in the day. We have some toys to play with. We will play tug o war and fetch.
About: I took a 2 year program in EVIT for veterinary assisting. With this I would do hours at a veterinary clinic in the mornings. I’ve learned a lot mostly about dogs, how to calm them down and how to restrain them if they get aggressive. I work every week day, the latest I get off is 4:30 pm so I have all afternoon for your pets! I can even do early mornings sometimes. Making sure they are safe and comfortable. Nothing is out that they can get into or hurt themselves with. Always making sure they aren’t showing any aggressive or scared behavior.
About: Animals have been part of my life for decades. I currently share my home with three small dogs, a senior rescue dog, and a backyard hen, and over the years I've cared for large breeds, rescue dogs, chickens, fish, birds, cats, and hamsters. Every animal has taught me that each one has a unique personality, preferences, and way of communicating. I'm especially comfortable caring for senior companions and understand that they often need extra patience, a slower pace, medications, and a consistent routine. I know how important it is to earn an animal's trust rather than expect it. When I'm caring for your companion, my goal is simple: to make them feel safe, respected, and loved while you're away. I'll pay attention to the little things that make them who they are, follow your instructions carefully, and keep you updated so you can travel with confidence, knowing they're in caring hands. I still have a couple years until retirement and work during the week, so I am currently only offering weekend house drop-ins, no overnights at this time. I understand that every companion has their own routine, personality, and comfort level. My first priority is to learn how you care for them at home so I can provide as much consistency as possible while you're away. In your home, I'll carefully follow your feeding schedule, exercise routine, medication instructions, and any special requests. I'll keep doors, gates, and leashes secure, pay close attention during walks and outdoor time, and always be mindful of your companion's safety and well-being. I'll also keep you informed with regular updates, photos, and honest communication so you can enjoy your time away with peace of mind. My goal is for your companion to feel safe, cared for, and respected, and for you to return home knowing they received the same thoughtful care I would want for my own animals.
“Sarah was great and the dogs seemed to really like her! She sent tons of photos of my dogs while I was out of town and followed all instructions I had left for her! Will definitely rebook and highly recommend!”

Amazing cat sitters! Briana and Brandon went above and beyond taking care of our two cats during our trip. They were very communicative about everything they did during each visit (and beforehand with a meet and great!) and left our house cleaner than they found it! I would recommend them to everyone!!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
