“This was my first time using Carrie, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. She was friendly and attentive, and Pete and Gracie were well cared for and comfortable during their stay. I received lots of updates throughout the visit. I would absolutely recommend Carrie and will definitely book with her again!”

“Amber was great, made sure to send updates with pictures that helped to put our mind at ease as it was our first time having someone watch our little boy. Will definitely be using her again when we need to go out of town.”

“We’ve always had friends or family watch our girls, so I was naturally nervous to choose someone I didn’t know. However, from our initial meeting with Tea, I could see her kindness in her stories and the way she interacted with our dogs. Our Schnauzer takes a bit to warm up to people, and I could see with Tea’s experience she knew exactly how to be patient and win her trust over time, which meant the world to me. We were away for 10 days, and Tea kept us connected with regular pictures and notes on how they were doing. The biggest compliment I can give is that while the girls were happy to see us, they were so content with Tea that it was by no means a 'prison break' when it was time to leave. They were relaxed, happy, and I know they would be thrilled to return. We’ve found our new sitter.”

“Anna took EXCELLENT care of our two dogs! She is obviously a lover of animals & we knew this as soon as we met her. Our dogs have a lot of personality & Anna catered to their every need. She kept us in constant contact & updated us very frequently on the status & care of them. We would absolutely trust her again the next time we need a sitter. Anna is as good as it gets!!”

“Lisa provided a wonderful stay away from my home for my dog Rocky. She was very responsive and attuned to my dog’s needs. It was easy to tell she really cares for your dog during their stay. Rocky quickly settled into their beautiful home and enjoyed lounging in their spacious yard. Would highly recommend and book again!”

“Christine was so patient and kind with my dog, Luna. She introduced Luna to her other pups, one at a time to see how they would do; and Christine’s family embraced and loved Luna as their own. When I picked Luna up after my trip, she kept looking back at the house because she had made some really good friends. Christine, thank you and your family, very much!”

“Cleve and Jan are exceptional! Knowledgable, kind and giving with special needs was a priority on our "woofie" list and all the boxes were checked. Very happy with the care they gave our "4legged" ball of fluff. Peace of mind and a happy pup is an essential combination when boarding our lil" pooch, IMHO. Thank you and we will board again!”

“Heidi was exceptional. She really was so sweet and kind to our Hunter boy. If ever we find ourselves needing a sitter in PHX again we would definitely go back. Thank you! 🤍”

“It was a great experience! First time leaving my dog in a home with other dogs and he loved it. Great experience all around. Loved the daily updates. He even seemed to have picked up some good manners while he was there too! I appreciated working with Krysten.”

“Ashley did a great job taking care of Ella, our three year old Rottweiler. Ella had some night time barking issues when put in the crate in an unfamiliar area. Ashley was able to deal with it and got her to reduce the barking over the next couple of days. We would definitely have Ashley take care of Ella in the future.”

“We had short weekend trip to Disneyland. Joyce was awesome and took great care of our fur baby. She sent lots of pictures throughout the day and kept us updated on how our baby was doing.”

“Lori did a great job taking care of our dog. She sent many updates and pictures which helped ease our mind. Our dog seems to have a great time and will definitely book with Lori again!”

“As always Adriana and Kayla took amazing care of our fur baby!!! I would recommend Adriana over and over again! She provides a wonderful atmosphere and plenty of love 💕 to our fur baby!!!!”

“We’ve used Keith a couple times now and will keep doing so! He takes great care of our fur baby and sends regular updates due g the boarding. Our dog seems happy to be there and well taken care of!”

“Kelly took care of Aiko for the second time and she was great! Aiko really seemed to enjoy her stay. I'm so glad we found her, she's super reliable. Aiko can be a little shy, but she warmed right up to Kelly. It gives me such peace of mind knowing Aiko is in good hands. I would definitely recommend Kelly to anyone looking for a pet sitter. We'll definitely be booking her again. Thanks again Kelly!”

“Amazing cat sitters! Briana and Brandon went above and beyond taking care of our two cats during our trip. They were very communicative about everything they did during each visit (and beforehand with a meet and great!) and left our house cleaner than they found it! I would recommend them to everyone!!”

“Stephanie was awesome! I would recommend her to anyone that needs pet sitting. She is very thorough, pays attention to details and paid extra attention to my kits. Thank you Stephanie. Have a happy new year!!”

“As always, Marnie kept my babies safe, healthy, and happy. It gives me such peace of mind to know she's here taking such good care of them. I feel incredibly grateful to have been able to relax and thoroughly enjoy my holiday because of Marnie's experience with and love for animals. Thanks again, Marnie the three of us love and appreciate you ❤️”

“Excellent cat sitter! She was reliable, communicative, and took great care of my cats while I was out of town. She followed all instructions and kept me updated throughout the trip, which I really appreciated. Everything was handled exactly as expected, and I returned home to two happy cats. Highly recommend, and I'll definitely be using her again for future trips.”

About: I’ve always loved cats and enjoy seeing all of their unique personalities. I provide lots of attention and affection to make sure your cat feels happy and safe while you’re away!

About: Please note: there is a glitch in the Rover platform in terms of star ratings. Support is working on it. I have an excellent history and will take great care of your pet. Please contact Rover support for clarification as they work on resolving that issue. I've always been a huge dog lover! In addition to helping pet sit for friends and family, I’ve been lucky enough to take in four foster pups of my own. Unfortunately, I lost three of them in the past few years, which has only made me want to spend even more time with dogs. In lieu of getting more of my own, I decided that I want to be of service to the animals and their owners. I’ve always enjoyed the experience and I’m happy to help out other owners and pooches in need. Over the years, I've cared for dozens of dogs and have rescued four. My last of the four is Gizzy, a little Shitzu. I take him with me to work and out and about. He's my little buddy! I love having a connection with dogs, and Gizzy and I have definitely fused a very strong bond between us. He is very friendly and loves other pups, so your pooch will always have a friend around. Making sure that both you and your pup feel completely comfortable and well taken care of us my number one goal. I always make sure to treat you and your pup with the utmost respect. During a stay, I’ll make sure to keep in daily contact by way of text and picture messages so you can know exactly how your pup is getting along and what we’ve done that day. I’ll treat them as if they were my own! I’ll keep your dog on a schedule as close to what they’re used to as possible. We’ll play with their favorite toys. They can sleep with me and will get a lot of snuggles and pets from me. I don’t have any breed restrictions, but I always like to schedule a meet-and-greet for new clients. I always try to get to a dog’s level and make them feel as comfortable as possible with me by letting them smell my hand, finding their favorite scratch spot, using a soft, fun voice to talk to them, and letting them take their time to get used to me.
About: Animals have been part of my life for decades. I currently share my home with three small dogs, a senior rescue dog, and a backyard hen, and over the years I've cared for large breeds, rescue dogs, chickens, fish, birds, cats, and hamsters. Every animal has taught me that each one has a unique personality, preferences, and way of communicating. I'm especially comfortable caring for senior companions and understand that they often need extra patience, a slower pace, medications, and a consistent routine. I know how important it is to earn an animal's trust rather than expect it. When I'm caring for your companion, my goal is simple: to make them feel safe, respected, and loved while you're away. I'll pay attention to the little things that make them who they are, follow your instructions carefully, and keep you updated so you can travel with confidence, knowing they're in caring hands. I still have a couple years until retirement and work during the week, so I am currently only offering weekend house drop-ins, no overnights at this time. I understand that every companion has their own routine, personality, and comfort level. My first priority is to learn how you care for them at home so I can provide as much consistency as possible while you're away. In your home, I'll carefully follow your feeding schedule, exercise routine, medication instructions, and any special requests. I'll keep doors, gates, and leashes secure, pay close attention during walks and outdoor time, and always be mindful of your companion's safety and well-being. I'll also keep you informed with regular updates, photos, and honest communication so you can enjoy your time away with peace of mind. My goal is for your companion to feel safe, cared for, and respected, and for you to return home knowing they received the same thoughtful care I would want for my own animals.

“Jennifer did a wonderful job taking care of our cats and they warmed up to her immediately. Her great notes, pictures, and video updates while we were away put our minds at complete ease!”

About: I had a dog since I was 13-28. The dog lived to be over 16. Recently, my ex took our dog because he has better availability to let her out and give her the best life. Anyways, I love pets. I feel like i’m supposed to hype myself up more, but I feel like your pet will tell you whether or not i’m worthy. I work 8-5 M-F. W-F I could probably let a dog out. I’ll mainly just be available weekends, though. Thank you so very, very much! In my home I have a small backyard they can potty in. I also have a dog park nearby. In your home I will do whatever walk or potty schedule you would like.
“Amber was a new pet sitter for us and I chose her based on her excellent reviews on Rover. She came over for not one but two meet and greets and fit in immediately. Our cats loved her and felt very comfortable with her, which is saying a lot as the are very shy. We got wonderful videos and pictures throughout our trip. We also had a very stressful situation going on with one of our pets throughout Amber’s visit and she jumped in and really went above and beyond our expectations. She was fantastic and we will definitely be booking again in the future.”

“Nothing but positive things to say! Briana was very easy to communicate with in order to make arrangements. Her and her family were very patient with our little maltipoo and she even sent me updates with pictures throughout the day that provided me re-assurance our fur baby was doing well.”

“We love Tea, and we think Jelli does also! We are in the area only for a few months and booked Tea for a 2 week trip in April. Then we decided to attend several spring training baseball games and have utilized Tea's daycare services several times. Tea is warm and loving and takes great care of our 10 year old chihuahua who really does not like other dogs. We highly recommend Tea and if we were here in the area permanently, Tea would remain our Rover of choice for our fur baby.”

“Krysten and her family are great. Fantastic communication and very accommodating. Bacio felt right at home. I highly recommend her and we will be back for more paw visits 🐾”

“Excellent! We are traveling in our RV and needed a pup sitter to watch the girls while we had family get togethers. And just like the "Lost Dutchman", we struck gold with Robyn. Such a kind sitter and one that had great friends for our pups to play with. Close to our location, nice fenced area, flexible for our needs, and cats, too.”

“Ashley did an amazing job. Our dogs had never been to a pet sitter and they loved spending time with her. We were traveling and Ashley was very flexible and accommodating. We would highly recommend Ashley for any pet sitting needs. She is a natural with pets and you can tell she loves what she does.”

About: Hi! I've spent many years caring for a wide variety of animals, including cats, dogs, birds, horses, and goats. I pride myself on being dependable, detail-oriented, and communicative. You can expect regular updates and photos during each visit so you can have peace of mind knowing your pets are happy and well cared for. I work from home Monday-Friday. I have a few brakes throughout my day. I can stop by on one of my breaks or after I get off work at 2pm. I have a fenced in yard surround by a block wall. We live on a quiet street in a quiet neighborhood. I have 2 pretty good doggos. We will go on walks when its cooler in the day. We have some toys to play with. We will play tug o war and fetch.
“Keith and family were so great with my little guy! From the moment we met he was so welcoming. It’s such a relief to have a place for my dog to go that I trust he’s being well cared for! Will be booking again in the near future!”

“If you want your fur baby to feel loved and be well cared for in your absence then you absolutely want Alan and his family! Being with Alan was home away from home for Koda. Koda and I both get separation anxiety but was able to rest easy knowing and seeing that he was having a great time. ❤️”

“Chelsea did a great job with our dog elvis! She took the booking last minute and did a great job with taking care if him, she sent us great photos and it looked like he was having a blast! We definitely appreciate it and will use her again in the future”

“Carolyn is a kind person and very competent in dog care. The roughly four-hour visit with several other non-familial dogs was the first for my puppy. He was over-excited and ready for a long dog nap upon pickup. The environment is safe and a doggie haven.”

“We just brought Archie home from Daycare and he is exhausted. We are thrilled because that is what he needed. Nina's updates and pictures were great. Can't wait to take Archie back for his 5 day visit! ?????”

“Paula was great with Dublin. Paula is so calming and the environment was exactly what Dublin needed - to be around her other dogs, free in and out to back yard. Definitely have Paula on the Rover speed dial.”

“We are visiting from out of town and staying in an RV park. We wanted somewhere to take our dog for the day when we went out site seeing and weren't able to take her with us. This was my first Rover experience and I was a little reluctant at first...…...but now I can't say enough good things about the entire process. Tom was a fabulous find. You can tell he has a love for dogs. Our dog has been there twice now at this time and we are planning a future daycare visit/and or an overnight stay for her. Our dog got to go on a hike with Tom and his wife and it is obvious by how our dog acts when we pick her up, that she is comfortable staying there. AND we especially like that she comes back tired! Thank you Tom!!”

“Lisa was amazing with our girls! It was evident how much she cares for dogs by the research she does before they stay plus asking great questions on dropoff. Our dogs were exhausted and happy after their stay, exactly what we love after a day of playing. We would absolutely use Lisa again when we are in need of someone to trust with our girls.”

My neighbors, friends and family have trusted me to care for and walk their pets numerous times. Now I'm extending my compassion and experience to others looking for the same love for their pets. I am currently home from college on my summer break. That leaves my week completely open to take care of any fur babies that need it! I can give your babies my full attention. I only leave the house for a max of 2 hours a day. I have a fenced in yard with plenty of room for your pet to wonder around. I have 1 senior dog who would love some company of another dog!

About: I grew up in Wisconsin surrounded by animals. We had dogs, cats, bunnies, fish, horses, cows and chickens. I love all animals and feel a special bond with them. I don’t work so I’m home most of the time and have a very flexible schedule. I am also willing to take last minute requests. I have a fenced yard and never leave the dogs outside by themselves. I have 2 fur babies that love to play and make new friends. I will be sure to send pictures or videos.
About: Hello! I’ve been around animals my entire life and am currently a veterinary student. I’ve been dog-sitting for over 14 years and love all dog types. I have veterinary technician experience along with experience volunteering at animal shelters and have been around many different dogs - small to x-large, sweet or behaviorial and some special medical cases. With my experience, I have been trained to give medication (both injectable and oral), care for, play with, socialize and exercise animals. I know some first aid for pets with my veterinary background, I am not officially certified in pet CPR though. I’m also a retired collegiate athlete and love being active outdoors! I have a dog of my own - a young male flat coat retriever who LOVES other dogs and is always so happy to have visitors! I know how stressful it can be trying to find someone reliable and compassionate to care for my fur babies while I am away, so I’m here to assure you I will provide the best care to your animals while you’re away from home just like I would want for my pup! I am currently in school so morning and evening walks/check-ins/feedings are best but my schedule fluctuates. Weekends are great too! Boarding is also a great option and is the most preferred. I am willing to be flexible as my schedule allows, just message me and we will work something out! I have a very friendly retriever and a fenced yard for our fur babies to play in! If your dog doesn’t like to play, no problem either - Oaklee is good at reading when others aren’t interested in playing and will mind his own business. I am flexible to provide the care your pet needs depending on your animal (I.e. daily exercise, varying feeding schedules, medications, etc.). I do have to leave the house for classes/labs occasionally but I am available to come home during breaks.
About: I’ve cared for animals for over 25 years, including dogs, cats, horses, goats, rabbits, reptiles, rodents, and fish. Many of the animals I’ve cared for have been rescues, which has taught me patience, observation, and the importance of building trust at each animal’s pace. I’ve always had a natural connection with animals and a strong interest in understanding their needs, behavior, and communication. I’ve owned multiple Cane Corsos, including managing two intact males and one intact female at the same time, so I’m very comfortable with large, powerful breeds and the structure they require. While I’m happy caring for dogs of all sizes, I naturally gravitate toward larger breeds and feel confident handling them calmly and safely. My experience has been built through years of hands-on animal care. I currently share my home with Lola, my Cane Corso, and Smokey, my cat. Both are well-established members of our household and are part of the calm, structured environment I strive to create for every animal in my care. I’ve also rehabilitated my rescue horse, Ranger, which has deepened my patience and understanding of animals that need trust, confidence, and steady guidance. For drop-in visits, walks, and pet sitting, I provide reliable, attentive care and always aim to follow each pet’s established routine. I appreciate knowing their habits, preferences, and personality ahead of time so I can step in calmly and consistently while you’re away. I take a calm, respectful approach to pet care and prioritize safety, communication, and reliability. My goal is simple: for you to feel confident your pet is cared for, and for your pet to feel safe, comfortable, and understood. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine, and I offer flexible availability throughout the day for walks, drop-in visits, and pet care needs. I keep my bookings intentionally limited so I can give each pet calm, focused attention and never feel rushed. I prioritize consistency, reliability, and clear communication, and I always aim to show up on time, present, and attentive to your pet’s unique needs. I take a calm, respectful approach when caring for pets in their home, following their established routines as closely as possible to help them feel safe and comfortable. I pay close attention to behavior, surroundings, and safety at all times. I’m comfortable handling dogs of all sizes, including large breeds, and I approach each animal with patience, awareness, and confidence. I carefully manage doors, gates, leashes, and feeding routines, and I communicate clearly with owners so you feel informed and at ease while you’re away.
About: Hi! I’m Hannah. Have had animals since the day I was born. 28 years of experience caring for dogs and cats of all sizes. As a pet owner myself, I know how important it is to find someone you trust. I’ll treat your pets like my own and make sure they get plenty of love, attention, and care while you’re away. I am a bartender 3 nights a week so I have plenty of extra time during the day for walks, play time & potty breaks. I have a fenced yard with dirt and a doggy door to access the yard whenever they feel necessary. Shade & sun to accommodate their sun bathing routine. Lots of parks and grassy areas for walks when it cools off.
About: I have been around all different types of animals since an early age. I've been a regular petsitter for two people and they loved my service. When I was a kid we were referred to as the zoo. I’ve owned snakes, turtle, fish, bird, cats, dogs, and lizards. When I was older we got our first dog. That lived with me. When I was around 4 my grandma got my uncle and me a dog. When I lived in California as a kid we had an iguana that I use to put on a leash and walk. It sounds weird but to a 5 year old it's super fun. Currently we have a 1.5 spayed female doodle who loves making new dog friends. I work from home 3 weeks out of the 4 in a month. My schedule is flexible for taking care of any animals in my home. I love all kinds of animals and ensure they get the attention they want in my home or clients. I make sure they have clean water fresh food and anything else they might need.
About: I have a 5 year old dog of my own--he is a mix of a lot of working breeds and high energy breeds, and therefore requires a lot of attention, stimulation, training, and exercise. He gets at least 2 hours of physical exercise a day, as well as another 1-2 hours of mental exercise (training, puzzles, games, etc). He is very well trained, taken care of, and behaved, and therefore this is something I can pass on to your precious pups as well. I know how to take care of rambunctious/high energy/needy/etc. pets, so no matter what needs your pup is, I can handle it. I also have additional experience with my childhood pets. When I was 14-18, we had two pups in the home that I was tasked with training and taking care of. I did the same for them as I do for my own current pup, and over the years I have learned and nearly perfected how to care for dogs. My friends and neighbors have always looked to me for pet sitting needs and have trusted me with their best friends. I am sure I will be a good fit to take care of yours too! I give my high energy dog 2 hours of activity time a day, not to mention enrichment, water, food, treats, and potty time outside. Your pet will be taken care of just like my own—something I revolve my whole schedule around! I never ever lay hands on any animal. Your dog will be taken care of in the best way, and will be treated just as special as they are. No need to worry about their safety, they will be in great hands with me. I am in an RV, so they can either roam freely in the Rv (couches or bed etc), but we have a good tether outside my dog loves to stay on, and we’re not in an RV park so they have plenty of room to play! I am outside with mine most of the day!

“This was my first time using Carrie, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. She was friendly and attentive, and Pete and Gracie were well cared for and comfortable during their stay. I received lots of updates throughout the visit. I would absolutely recommend Carrie and will definitely book with her again!”

“Lori did a great job taking care of our dog. She sent many updates and pictures which helped ease our mind. Our dog seems to have a great time and will definitely book with Lori again!”

“Celeste was able to accommodate my travel schedule and make things very easy. It was the first time I have had my dog stay at someone else's home and everything went well!”

“If you want your fur baby to feel loved and comforted whenever they can't be with you then entrust them to Kevin and Kathleen. Cooper had an amazing time during his stay!!! I could see he was right at home with everyone getting all the love and attention he normally gets from us, from the daily pictures. I’ll definitely will book again.”
“Thank you Robyn for taking good care of Happy. Robyn texted updates with photos every day, and took our dog for walk frequently. We didn't worry once during our trip. I highly recommend her services and absolutely book her again.”

“I just know that I can relax while I’m out of town that she’s taking exceptional care of Katie and King Charles two seniors that need extra attention and are a little high maintenance for some of my family members. it’s comforting to have someone that will care for them and fulfill their needs for me while I’m not able to do so keep me updated and keep them safe and I appreciate her”
