About: I been taking care of dogs since I can remember. My family would rescue stray dogs and find new families for them it is something that I love doing.Right now I don’t own any pets and I miss taking care of them so that is why this works out perfectly for me. I’m currently a full time student and I work a part time I am free during the weekends I am really just trying to make some extra money on the side to pay for school I am in between schedules right now so I can only do weekends. In the late afternoon (less hot for the doggies ) or early nor before it’s too hot for their paws I understand that each pet is different and that some require a little more attention or more adaptations like older dogs or puppies and I’m willing to put in the effort and give them extra love and attention.
About: I took a 2 year program in EVIT for veterinary assisting. With this I would do hours at a veterinary clinic in the mornings. I’ve learned a lot mostly about dogs, how to calm them down and how to restrain them if they get aggressive. I work every week day, the latest I get off is 4:30 pm so I have all afternoon for your pets! I can even do early mornings sometimes. Making sure they are safe and comfortable. About: We had dogs growing up and I adored every one of them. As as adult, I did not enjoy the companionship of having a dog because of my career for many years. I traveled too much to give them the time and energy they deserve. My husband surprised me with the current love of my life.....our boxer, Jaxon Blue....over 10 years ago, right before he was deployed overseas. It has been the BEST 10+ years of my life! About: I have had a wide variety of pets that I have cared for. I love cats and dogs of all sizes and varieties! I have cared for pets just out of surgery as well as older pets with various issues. I am retired and need something to occupy my time! I am available day or night. I am willing to help however I am needed. I want to keep the closest routine as possible for all pets for the least amount of disruption so I will cater to them! I will need detailed instructions and expectations to make sure all visits go as planned.

And I’m a classically trained artist who offers a one time 15% off pet portrait prices for people who book house sitting with me for over 7 days. I know some first aid for pets with my veterinary background, I am not officially certified in pet CPR though. I’m also a retired collegiate athlete and love being active outdoors! I have a dog of my own - a young male flat coat retriever who LOVES other dogs and is always so happy to have visitors! I know how stressful it can be trying to find someone reliable and compassionate to care for my fur babies while I am away, so I’m here to assure you I will provide the best care to your animals while you’re away from home just like I would want for my pup! I am currently in school so morning and evening walks/check-ins/feedings are best but my schedule fluctuates. Weekends are great too! Boarding is also a great option and is the most preferred. I am willing to be flexible as my schedule allows, just message me and we will work something out! I have a very friendly retriever and a fenced yard for our fur babies to play in! If your dog doesn’t like to play, no problem either - Oaklee is good at reading when others aren’t interested in playing and will mind his own business. I am flexible to provide the care your pet needs depending on your animal (I.e. daily exercise, varying feeding schedules, medications, etc.). I do have to leave the house for classes/labs occasionally but I am available to come home during breaks.
