There was a heat wave during the week she was pet sitting so she made sure to check in with us with updates that our cat was safe. She also brushed our cat who was shedding like crazy due to the weather which meant we didn't return to a house full of fur and hairballs. About: I've cared for pets of my own growing up, both dogs and cats. I have also worked at a local animal hospital so I do have some experience behind the scenes. I work full time job as a vet technician at a local vet hospital. I will make things work, the more notice of a need to petsit/dog walk the better! Depending on the owners own wishes, that would determine how I’d care for them! Clients before have left me a paper of instructions and I’ve found that to be very helpful. Always treating homes and pets with respect!

The classes I have taken at the university focus on animal biology, care, management, and behavior. Many classes take place on our on-campus farm. I am an animal husbandry volunteer at the mystic aquarium, where I care for various rare, exotic species. I have also volunteered at animal shelters, and am in the process of conducting a behavior based research project with my professor. Throughout my life I have had many pets from cats and dogs, to small mammals and reptiles. I am working a part time summer job at a restaurant mostly working at night. I am available to do drop in visits throughout the day. I will not be able to take your pets into my home because I have pets of my own. Safety is my number one priority for myself and your pets and am willing to work through any challenges your pet may face!

She is so great about playing with him and keeping him busy - he can be a nervous dog but she calms him down and when I pick him up he is always reluctant to go home with me! She is also great at staying in communication and texted updates and photos the entire time.
