“Pete is as happy as a little clam cake! I wonder though if you know anything about the black spot on his back at his neck. Just curious. Not to worry.”

“Karissa knows what she's doing, and knew how to ease my nervous mind when we were away for a long weekend. She provided feedback and photos. I would highly recommend Karissa for dependable, quality care. -L.R., Centerville”

“Karen made drop-in visits to care for my cat while I was on vacation. She came twice a day, early in the morning and again at dinnertime. She provided food, fresh water, changed the litter, and kept the areas clean. She also took away the used cans to recycle & took away the litter. The texts and photos were reassuring. I definitely recommend Karen. She was thorough and reliable.”

“We chose Carolyn because she had golden retrievers of her own and would know exactly what to do for Bailey. She checked in at the right times and followed our directions and sent some beautiful pictures. Bailey looked very happy to have her there. She was very easy to communicate via text. I would definitely recommend her to anyone in this area that needed dog sitting. I am hoping that I can use her again when we go away in August.”

“Beth was great with my senior dog! My dog is not always friendly with strangers, but Beth put her at ease right away. She is professional and personable!”

“Wonderful! Communicative, timely, knows what she's doing, friendly, goes above and beyond, and sends excellent photos of your furry friend! Took excellent care of my guy Chauncey, will definitely hire her again in future.”

“Sarah is excellent with my dog Riley. He can be difficult at times and she’s so patient with him. Sarah is always on time and very professional. She takes care of your dog as if it were her own. I highly recommend Sarah and I’m so glad I found her!”

“Hailey was an absolute gem! This was my first time using Rover so I was not sure what to expect but Hailey was wonderful. There was a heat wave during the week she was pet sitting so she made sure to check in with us with updates that our cat was safe. She also brushed our cat who was shedding like crazy due to the weather which meant we didn't return to a house full of fur and hairballs. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone who wants to leave their beloved furry one in good hands.”

About: I lost my amazing furry child and co-pilot recently. I miss the walks, play time, and just being with one another, Animals are so therapeutic in the scheme of life in many ways. I welcome sharing a walk with your furry child, or stopping by to check in. I have had dogs and cats most of my life. At this time I welcome the opportunity to share some time and love with others. I could do early afternoon/evening walks. Some weekends available as well. This is new, so just inquiring to see if others may be where I once was finding challenges looking for a reliable person for pet care. I am happy to go to your home and walk your dog in their familiar neighborhood. I am happy to pick your dog up and go for a beach romp/walk. I am happy for you to bring your dog to my home and I have a fenced in area, a nice neighborhood for walking. I just lost my dog of 12 1/2 years recently. I am not about to jump into getting another dog at all... she'll never be replaced. But there is definitely a void and I thought this would be a nice balance. I have a welcoming space to offer.

About: I’m a 32 year old teacher who is looking to take some new pet friends on walks this summer. I have an almost 3 year old chihuahua who is the center of my world, and I have previous experience house-sitting, walking and boarding. I’d love to meet you and your furry friends! Available starting June 20th, during the week and most weekends. Typically available 8-4, and can walk your friend near you or take them on an adventure! Available to help year-rounders and seasonal friends! Boarding can be worked out on request! My wife and I have a fenced in yard, and our fur baby Bonsai is very dog-friendly. The yard is decent sized, and I stay outside and play with our friends in order to keep an eye on them. We can crate as needed, and are pretty flexible. Bonsai and I love our walks, and I can bring Bonsai along to keep your pet company if you would like! As for boarding, we’ve had three different sets of furry friends board at our home already this year!

About: I have taken care of animals since I was a little girl. I have always had multiple cats at a time. Staying at friends house also helped me learn how to take care of farm animals at a young age as well. I work a fulltime and part time job. My hours are flexible on most weekends. During the week preferably before 7 am and after 4 pm. I do not board any pets, but am willing to take care of them at your home. Following steps left by the pet owner and taking notes during our conversation.

“TAYLOR IS SPECTACULAR!!! She’s one of the best dog sitters I have ever had. She is so kind and communicates very well. She adores Hank and goes above and beyond to make sure he has a great time. She takes him on long hikes, to the beach and trail walks. She makes sure her feels right at home when he spends the night. She even gave him a bath before returning him to me after a week away. I can’t say enough positive things about her! Hire her and see for yourself!”

About: I am entering my junior year at the University of Rhode Island, earning a degree in animal science, specializing in zoo and aquarium animal science with a focus on behavior and training. The classes I have taken at the university focus on animal biology, care, management, and behavior. Many classes take place on our on-campus farm. I am an animal husbandry volunteer at the mystic aquarium, where I care for various rare, exotic species. I have also volunteered at animal shelters, and am in the process of conducting a behavior based research project with my professor. Throughout my life I have had many pets from cats and dogs, to small mammals and reptiles. I am working a part time summer job at a restaurant mostly working at night.
