Socialization & Companionship: My family will be more than happy to provide extra human interaction throughout the day if your dog is seeking it. We also have 2 friendly resident dogs (a gentle, senior Shih Tzu who mostly minds her own business, and a social English Pointer who will be happy to make new friends) and 2 cats who are well accustomed to dogs, but will mostly keep to themselves. Separation When Needed: While socialization is great, it's not for everyone. If your dog is anxious, or just feeling overwhelmed, I have my own private, dedicated space where they can get away from all the hubbub of the household, and enjoy some downtime. I am also fully able to accommodate crate-trained dogs if that's something they prefer. They are also more than welcome to share my furniture if they're more of a lap-dog type! As a professional pet handler, I promise to stay aware of your dog's body language and ensure they're recieving the best care possible. Their safety and peace of mind are my top priority.

You can get a dog to love you but to respect you is a different story. My full time job is 12:00-7:30pm. Days I dont work I’m 100% available to watch your pups all day if need be. I can take care of bathroom breaks at 11am and 7:30-8pm Pups that I care for get 110% of my attention. At the moment I’m available to take care of clients dogs within their homes. Our apartment is quite small, so I will always have eyes on your pup! I will always make sure there is nothing around for a pup to get into. Lots of hardwood in case of any accidents! My apartment complex also has lots of grass for walks and a dog park if your pup is into that!
About: I am a physical therapist who has a passion for working with people, however, I interact with people quite often. SO, what I really enjoy is making the time to cuddle or walk with furry friends any chance I can get. As a former doctoral student, I have learned how to manage time well, organize and prioritize. I have over 8 years of experience dog sitting for family members and these dogs include small breeds (Coton de Tulear and Dachshund), medium breeds (Beagle/Australian Sheperd mix) and large breeds (Pitbull/Boxer mix, Boxer, and Lab/Pitbull mix). I have administered medication on a strict schedule, bathed, walked and snuggled with all of these pups, showing nothing but love and dedication. I take all safety precautions to ensure gates are closed when necessary, human food is placed far out of reach, and all doors are shut that lead to tempting, tasty objects such as shoes and remotes. For Starters - I have ramps into my house and into my completely fenced-in back yard. I make every effort to make your dog feel like they are home. I have several dog beds throughout the house and provide easy access to my back yard. I am adept at giving medications, if necessary during your dog's stay. I live close to 2 cranberry bogs, which I use to walk larger dogs during their stay. I have been a pet owner since 2007 and have rescued a number of senior dogs since that time. Currently, I have a new senior addition to my household; Bailey, a very chill mini-border collie. She gets a long with most dogs and all people. I retired from my job in the pharmaceutical industry at an early age so that I could enjoy many years of retirement and doing the things that I enjoy such as taking care of other people's pets. I work 8 hour shifts at the grooming salon, and I am free on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, which gives me full, dedicated days to spend at home with your dog(s). This allows me to provide boarding any day of the week! My home is fully equipped to be a safe, fun, and adaptable "home away from home" for your dog. Here is what you can expect during their stay: Secure & Spacious Play: We have a large, fenced backyard where your dog can safely run and play. We are located in a lovely, quiet neighborhood right next door to a large recreational field/park with a walking trail. For more adventurous pups, we also have excellent wooded trails nearby as well. Socialization & Companionship: My family will be more than happy to provide extra human interaction throughout the day if your dog is seeking it. We also have 2 friendly resident dogs (a gentle, senior Shih Tzu who mostly minds her own business, and a social English Pointer who will be happy to make new friends) and 2 cats who are well accustomed to dogs, but will mostly keep to themselves. Separation When Needed: While socialization is great, it's not for everyone. If your dog is anxious, or just feeling overwhelmed, I have my own private, dedicated space where they can get away from all the hubbub of the household, and enjoy some downtime. I am also fully able to accommodate crate-trained dogs if that's something they prefer. They are also more than welcome to share my furniture if they're more of a lap-dog type! As a professional pet handler, I promise to stay aware of your dog's body language and ensure they're recieving the best care possible. Their safety and peace of mind are my top priority.

“Where do I start. this is the 1st time we have used a pet sitter for our dog Delilah. Madaket was our chosen one. Right from the start she was accomandating and helpful. We had to change our drop off plans my son had to drop her off.She stayed intouch with us through our trip,sending pictures and assuring us that Delilah was cared for and happy. Which took a huge weight off our shoulders. Unfortunatly I ended up getting very sick the day before we came home and was admitted to the hospital. We ask if we could extend Delilahs stay. Madaket did not hesitate to accommodate us. She was able to modify our booking for us immediatly. Delilah came back to us happy and exhausted, the way we like it.
