“Both of my elderly dogs love staying with Uncle Stephen! We get photos showing how much fun they are having as well as them enjoying the multiple beds/ sofas/ etc. Highly recommend!”

“Caitlin was very responsive and accommodating with my last minute request to board Pippa. After a quick and successful meet and greet, Pippa stayed with Caitlin for 3 nights. She sent pics showing that she was happy and settled in. Pippa clearly enjoyed her stay with Caitlin's family. We will definitely ask Caitlin for future boarding needs!”

“I picked Caitlin because of the reviews I read - many by return customers. I’m so happy I did. Caitlin was so easy to communicate with and she took perfect care of my dog. I would definitely ask Caitlin to watch him again. She was amazing.”

“Karen was wonderful! We dropped our dog off for two nights while visiting family over the weekend. She was very kind and communicative throughout our dog's stay. It was our first time our dog had stayed with her, so the photos and updates were very helpful and appreciated! She gave our dog 1:1 time on walks and sent pictures of our dog relaxing in her home. We were later to pick-up than expected, and she was flexible and understanding! Thank you, Karen for your help with Blue!”

“Kari was absolutely amazing with my dog! Maisy received lots of love and attention with long walks, fun games, snuggle time, and belly rubs - all of it right by Kari’s side ❤️ I received lots of photos and updates along the way, this was a match made in heaven, we would love to come back next summer!”

“Harley had an amazing time with Melissa and Kellie and their pup! Hosts were so flexible, easy to communicate with, and clearly love fur friends. We can’t wait to use them again”

“Julie was absolutely amazing! This was our first time leaving our pup, and Julie sent multiple daily updates, and was so welcoming, caring and kind. I HIGHLY recommend Julie and we will be booking with her (and her wonderful dog Ellie) again.”

“I am grateful to Marcia for taking such good care of my dog. Marcia has extensive experience with dogs and knows a lot about them. My dog was reluctant to leave her when I was picking it up. I am very happy with everything and would contact Marcia first if I need someone to look after my dog in the future.”

“Karen hosted my dog Lulu overnight and was very genial & accommodating as well as an excellent communicator. It was clear that Lulu felt very comfortable with Karen and her sweet dog.”

“Andrea and Bob are so great! This was our 2nd time using them for our trip to the Cape. This year in addition to our dog they watched last year, they also had our ‘new to us’ rescue pup who came with his own set of challenges. :-) Andrea and Bob were so patient and thoughtful in making sure he was comfortable and happy. From the moment you meet them you can tell they do indeed love all the dogs! I highly recommend them!”

“Michele is wonderful and really took marvelous care of both our dogs. We loved getting pictures of what they were doing. It was obvious she spent time with them and they were comfortable in her home.”

“Alyne was great! My dogs enjoyed their stay and had so much room to run around. They were very comfortable and came home tired. She kept me up to date on the dogs and sent lots of photos.”

“We used Cindi for the first time for our energetic Lab. They definitely kept her exercised and happy and sent her home with a new blanket. She was very responsive and sent regular updates, which is what every dog owner loves.”

“Peyton had the best time!! We are so grateful. She was spoiled with their amazing property/set up, their sweet dogs, and all the TLC! We would send her back in a heartbeat”

“I am so pleased with the care my cavapoo,Kirby, received from Katie and Jesse. He fit right in with their dog as they played, had a walk, and slept near each other. The family was loving and calm and their son was gentle and attentive to both dogs. The overnight stay was smooth with no mishaps or behavior issues. When we picked him up the next day, Kirby greeted us happy and tired. He watched his new friend as we drove away. I definitely will contact them again when we need doggy daycare or an overnight stay. It was a wonderful reassuring experience with others caring for our family member.”
“Thank you, Chelsea, for taking great care of our dog! We booked with Chelsea months in advance since we were getting married in Cape Cod and needed a place for our dog to stay for 2 days. This was our dog's first time staying overnight without us and he tends to be nervous in new situations. Chelsea was very responsive and gave us regular updates, which put us at ease that he was doing good and enjoying his time. We would definitely recommend Chelsea to others!”

“Madaket was fantastic, we arrived at the property and my dog Olympia started sprinting around with her dog Millie. The property was also very large, which gave Olympia plenty of room to enjoy herself. Madaket sent several pictures and videos throughout the day. There is nothing better than feeling confident that your dog doesn’t miss you because you know they are having such a good time ?! I’d be happy to leave Olympia there any time! Plus she gave Olympia a little blue bandana ?”

“Marc was AMAZING!!!! I don’t think it’s possible for me to say enough good things about him. After having a traumatic experience with a Rover watcher, I was honestly very nervous to trust anyone with my dog ever again. Mark restored my faith completely. Not only was he one of the kindest people I’ve met in a long time, he has an incredible heart for animals. He treated my pup like a treasured family member. My dog instantly loved him. But while I was gone he went out of his way to make sure she had the best day each day…play dates, went on adventure walks, cuddles! He was knowledgeable about dog traing and grooming (my dog came back soft and shiny.) He even bought her a very expensive chew toy, which he sent her home with. She actually cried a little when I took her home because she got so attached to Marc. I cannot recommend Marc highly enough.”

“We had an excellent experience with Debra. Our 9 year old cockapoo had never been boarded outside of family, and I was a little apprehensive about leaving him with someone I didn’t know. After our first meeting, I knew that I had made the best choice for Wally and for me. Debra always takes the time for a meet and greet prior to drop off so that our boy had the opportunity to meet her and her dogs, who are all very well behaved and welcoming. You can tell that Debra loves working with dogs and takes her responsibility very seriously. She has a lovely large home and huge fenced in back yard that the dogs can access via a dog door. Debra had great communication and was flexible with drop off and pickup times. She kept me updated with some photos so that I could relax and enjoy my sons wedding. I couldn’t have been happier and highly recommend Debra as a knowledgeable and trustworthy dog care provider.”

“Stefanie was wonderful and a joy to work with! As a first time Rover customer, I was pleasantly assured that my cat was well cared for. Stefanie would be my first choice if I use Rover again, which I’m sure I will do.”

“Emily was fabulous! Super responsive, provided pictures, and noticed my cat’s allergies acting up. She even bought her a toy! I will definitely be requesting her again.”

“Kelly did an awesome job of taking care of my two cats while I was away. She provided plenty of TLC and sent pictures and detailed updates every day. I highly recommend Kelly and will be booking with her again in the future. Thanks so much Kelly!”

About: I’ve had many kitties throughout my life, many whom I’ve adopted as seniors, because I particularly love my old kitties! In their golden years, my pets needed medication in various forms, so I am experienced with hiding pills in treats, wrapping a kitty in a Purrito for liquid medicine, and coaxing too-smart cats into taking their medicine. I’ve pet sat for friends and neighbors over the years, and I also pet sit on Trusted House Sitters
“Sarah did a great job of taking care of our pet kitty Tally and helping us navigate our first time using the Rover service. She kept us informed of her coming and goings and gave exceptional good care of our cat that has kidney disease. We will definitely use Sarah’s services in the future.”

About: Animals have always been a huge part of my life and career. I currently manage a veterinary hospital and have experience working alongside both general practice and emergency veterinary teams. As a pet parent to a nervous, reactive dog, I understand that every pet has unique needs and personalities. Whether your pet loves adventure, playtime, quiet companionship, or requires a little extra patience and understanding, I’ll make sure they receive attentive, compassionate care tailored to them.

“We just moved from CA with our 15 year old Diva Tortoise Shell cat and she is extremely skittish around anyone but my husband and myself. It took our last sitter almost two years to see her and have her come up to smell his hand! The first day Susan was there she sent us a photo of Tay sitting in the doorway checking her out - which was phenomenal! She must sense that Susan is a true cat person and it really blew us away. We feel confident now that we can leave her home without feeling guilty! I would recommend her highly and can't wait to finally go on vacation and not worry about Tay as much. :)”

“Lily was hired to stop by and care for my two cats Sean and Master Jeremy while away on a trip. Lily followed all instructions and did a fantastic job. I highly recommend her services as a dedicated and caring cat sitter.”

“Sharon was fantastic with our young cat, Yuki. We were leaving him alone for the first time and a little nervous about it. Sharon put us totally at ease with her great communication via text and pics too! All went splendidly and we were completely thrilled. Thanks Sharon!!”

“Caitlin was a life saver! When our puppy was too overwhelmed at daycare, Caitlin last minute took Maple in so that we could enjoy our family vacation and not have to worry about our sweet pup for extended periods of time. She was flexible and a joy to meet! Maple immediately passed out when we got back home so I would say that was a good sign of a tuckered out pup! Thank you again!”

“Grateful to Karen for a wonderful daycare day for Gus! So nice for him to play with other dogs and appreciated the photo and update on his day. He came home and fell right to sleep! Sign of a good day! Thank you!”

“So thankful for Helena and her cat! My lil guy Guinness had a wonderful day playing and walking and fetching. Happy to be dropped off, happy after I picked him up. Thank you Helena!! Will hit you up next time I’m on the cape with Guinness for sure.”

“Abby was so amazing!!! I work long hours at the hospital and she not only picked my dog up from my apt but went above and beyond, taking my dog to the dog park and the beach! She sent multiple updates throughout the day. She was also easy to reach, very responsive, and friendly. I would highly recommend Abby to anyone needing a dog sitter.”

About: Hi! We’re a dependable, dog-loving family offering in-home dog boarding and dog sitting on Cape Cod. If you’re looking for a safe, attentive, and comfortable home for your dog while you’re away, you’ve found it. We both work from home, so your dog will never be alone. We have a small, friendly Labradoodle who loves other dogs and is very used to sharing his space. Because of that, visiting dogs typically adjust quickly and feel right at home here. We’ve cared for many friends’ dogs over the years, including puppies, adult dogs, and seniors. We’re comfortable with different temperaments, energy levels, and routines, from active dogs who need lots of playtime and walks to more relaxed dogs who just want a calm, cozy environment. We have used pet sitters several times for our own travels, so we know how nerve-wracking it can be to leave your beloved fur baby with a stranger. We will make your dog one of our family and give you regular updates, including photos. We know how important it is to trust who you leave your dog with. Our goal is simple: make your dog feel safe, happy, and cared for, so you can relax while you’re away. Feel free to reach out with any questions or to set up a meet & greet—we’d love to meet you and your pup! Pet care fits very naturally into our daily routine because we both work from home full-time. This allows us to build our day around the dogs in our care rather than leaving them alone for long stretches. Our typical day includes morning potty breaks and walks, followed by a relaxed workday where dogs have plenty of supervision, companionship, and opportunities to go outside as needed. We take breaks throughout the day for playtime, short walks, and attention, depending on each dog’s energy level and routine. In the evenings, we usually incorporate longer walks, playtime, or wind-down time, making sure dogs are settled and comfortable before bedtime. Because dogs are part of our home environment, they’re included in our daily rhythm—not treated as an afterthought. On weekends, we’re generally home and maintain a similar routine, with even more flexibility for walks, outdoor time, and one-on-one attention. Overall, having dogs in our care is something we genuinely enjoy and prioritize, and our schedule allows us to provide consistent, attentive care throughout the day and week. We care for every dog as if they’re our own, with a focus on keeping their routine consistent, their environment safe, and making sure they feel comfortable and loved while you’re away. Before any stay, we take time to understand your dog’s daily routine, feeding schedule, exercise needs, and any quirks or preferences—so we can mirror what they’re used to at home as closely as possible. In our home, dogs get: Plenty of supervision (we both work from home, so they’re rarely alone) Regular potty breaks, walks, and playtime based on their energy level A calm, safe environment with space to relax or socialize Lots of attention and affection throughout the day We’re also comfortable administering basic medications if needed and following any specific care instructions you provide.
“Emily was amazing- Hazel had the best time and they were clearly fast friends! She was responsive and asked all the right questions. She clearly loves dogs! She took hazel for multiple walks and texted me updates throughout the day. Highly recommend!!! She is the best!”

About: Hi, I’m Jenny! I’m thrilled to meet your canine, feline, or even small animal best friend. Growing up surrounded by animals, I’ve cared for dogs, cats, birds, hamsters, and guinea pigs. I’ve also fostered cats, boarded dogs, and taken courses in animal behavior and cognition, giving me a solid foundation in understanding pets’ needs. I work from home, which allows me to provide flexible and personalized care for your pet. Whether it’s walks to a nearby park, playtime or adhering to your pet’s specific routine, I’m here to make sure your furry friend feels at home. I’m available mornings, afternoons, and evenings. Whether you need daily visits, overnight care, or last-minute help, my flexible schedule allows me to provide the attention your pet deserves. Weekends and holidays? No problem—I’m here for you! “We had a fantastic experience with Cindi through Rover while vacationing in Cape Cod. From the very beginning, she went above and beyond to make Finnegan feel comfortable and loved. She arranged a meet and greet a few days before the drop-off, during which she asked thoughtful questions and took notes on Finnegan’s preferences, showing her genuine care and attention to detail. Despite the less-than-ideal weather, Cindi took Finnegan on multiple walks, demonstrating her dedication and love for dogs. Throughout his stay, she kept us wonderfully updated with photos and messages, which gave us peace of mind and made us feel connected even from afar. When it was time to pick him up, Finnegan ran right to her door like he owned the place a clear sign of how happy and comfortable he was with her. We will definitely be using Cindi again and highly recommend her to other dog owners looking for a caring, attentive, and reliable sitter.”

About: Hello! I’ve been a dog owner my entire life and am excited to learn more about your pup. I have a very friendly golden retriever who will be home during your dog’s stay and will be around all day to play with your dog and can take them out at regular intervals. Look forward to hearing from you! I’m currently working on from home so I have plenty of time to spend with your dog! I’m up usually around 7am and can take the dog out first thing, then usually take the dogs out around 11pm for a last potty break. I’m very clean/organized and will be respectful of your home and belongings should you need me to stop by your home to watch your pup
“My dog, Kiwi, had a fabulous visit with Andrea and Bob! They were extremely communicative and accommodating before our visit. They took care to learn Kiwi’s quirks, likes, and dislikes (she has a big personality, so there are a lot!). They even had toys and balls at their house for her to play with. It’s clear that they are experienced and intuitive dog caretakers, which is so important to me as a nervous dog mom. When I went to pick her up, Kiwi was all smiles and happy body language…I know she had a fabulous time and can’t wait to go back! Thank you, Andrea and Bob.”

“I enjoyed meeting Peter. He took care of my pup, Chip, and provided him with a home and a play pal for the day. Chip was happy and I was able to relax and enjoy my event. Peter provided me with peace of mind knowing that my Chip was in good hands. That’s all a dog parent can ask for. Thank you kindly, Peter. Hope to see you and Scooby again soon! Hugs, Chip and Eris”

“Marc was so great and accommodating helping out when we needed care for Charlie last minute! He made us feel so comfortable when we dropped her off, showing us the whole yard and house and sent us pictures and updates throughout the day. Couldn’t recommend him enough!”

“Maria is amazing with animals and humans! She provided exceptional care to our Frenchie, Evie. She listened carefully to our request and was able to meet our needs with ease. Maria has fantastic attention to details and her updates during the day provided worried dog parents great comfort. Her home and property provides a doggie sanctuary. Maria went above and beyond when we asked for our little one to get a bath. Our Evie, never had it so good ( a blueberry facial)!!! She came home cleaned, trimmed and soft as could be. I would not hesitate to use Maria’s services again and I can’t recommend her highly enough. You and your four-legged friend is in great hands and care with Maria!”

About: Hello dog owners and friends! My name is Steve and I am a retired professional who calls Cape Cod home. I enjoy taking care of adult and senior pets. (Please note that my regular clients have a locked-in rate that is lower than the rate stated in my Rover Profile). Rates for new clients are sometimes negotiable. For Starters - I have ramps into my house and into my completely fenced-in back yard. I make every effort to make your dog feel like they are home. I have several dog beds throughout the house and provide easy access to my back yard. I am adept at giving medications, if necessary during your dog's stay. I live close to 2 cranberry bogs, which I use to walk larger dogs during their stay. I have been a pet owner since 2007 and have rescued a number of senior dogs since that time. Currently, I have a new senior addition to my household; Bailey, a very chill mini-border collie. She gets a long with most dogs and all people. I retired from my job in the pharmaceutical industry at an early age so that I could enjoy many years of retirement and doing the things that I enjoy such as taking care of other people's pets. I have a fenced in yard and provide water bowls both inside and outside my house. I keep a crate handy for separation issues. I have pill pockets for any medications that need to be given.
“Kristen has been an absolute blessing to our family! She is dependable, kind, and truly loves what she does. From the moment she met Samba, it was obvious she genuinely cared about making him feel comfortable and happy. She always communicates well, sends updates, and gives me peace of mind knowing my boy is in such caring hands. Samba absolutely adores her, and seeing how excited he gets when she arrives tells me everything I need to know. As a busy daycare provider, it’s such a relief to know I can count on someone who is trustworthy, professional, and treats my dog like one of her own. I wholeheartedly recommend Kristen to anyone looking for a caring and reliable dog walker. Thank you for taking such wonderful care of Samba—we appreciate you so much!”

“Kelly is a true professional and she is so capable and caring with animals ! She is definitely someone to trust with beloved pets, as she has so much experience and it is extremely evident in her care! We are so lucky to have her help with our dogs!”

About: Working professional on Cape starting Rover to exercise more and be with animals! Your pup or kitty come first: what are the instructions we talked about? I offer house visits to kitties as well as selective boarding in my own home. Each scenario is unique — let’s chat!

“Meg is new to us due to the relocation of our previous Rover walker/ sitter. She is extremely well qualified and professional. Gracie generally does quite a bit of protective barking at the door, but greeted Meg like a long lost friend! Just wagged her tail and gave her a kiss. Best friends already. Meg gave her a great walk and Gracie came back grinning from ear to ear! Feel very confident in Meg!”

“This is our second stay with Isabella, and our dogs love staying with her. She is attentive and keeps us up to date on how they’re doing. Our past trip we got caught up in some bad weather coming home and she was more than accommodating for a later pick up time which we greatly appreciated! I would highly recommend Isabella.”
