Luie really came to the rescue when we had to cancel our dog's weekend stay at our friends' kennel due to our dog being under the weather. Luie was able to house sit and dog sit, and he doted on the dog so much, I don't think she even knew we were gone! When Luie cares for our dog, we have 100% peace of mind.

About: I grew up on retired farm land, so I gained lots of experience raising and training several dog breeds, all sizes and ages. We rescued and fostered several dogs, cats, and rabbits over the years. As an adult I started fostering dogs and rabbits myself. Until recently, I was fostering primarily dogs. I have 2 shepheards and 2 pitbulls permanently placed in my home, as well as a dwarf rabbit. 2 of my dogs are trained and registered as service animals. I have a very adaptable home with lots of indoor/outdoor play space, as well as space to be separated as needed. I are very particular about keeping our food and water bowls clean with washing every day. I am happy to love you fur babies! There is rarely ever a time my pets are home alone. They all free roam and coexist peacfully, so I have a very calm house usually. We have a go out/walking schedule we follow to ensure proper exercise, as well as a secure feeding routine. My fiancé works full time, so I am the full time caretaker of the animals. Stranger pets in my home are introduced calmly and carefully, as to maintain a safe environment for all. Higher energy dogs meet my shepheards first, calmer animals meet my old boy first. My animals stay leashed infront of guests until a calmness has been reached. I have separate feeding bowls for all animals, water is communal as to resist territorial behavior. If calmness can not be reached, I have space to separate any unrully animals as needed. As a stranger in another animals home, I aproach very calmly and happily to respect their space. I am very adaptable to understanding and applying a feeding/walking schedule. Play time is always important, and my favorite part of the day! Lots of play time and pets are given to fur babies.

Samantha did such a great job with our 3 dogs! It was our first time ever leaving them with a sitter and I was especially nervous because one of them is still a puppy. But she eased our worries with how attentive she was and her communication. We were able to enjoy our vacation dog and stress free

Margaret did a GREAT job watching my two dogs and bunny for a week while my husband and I were on vacation. She even got our mail for us even though I forgot to ask her to. I got consistent updates and communication all week. My animals were happy and healthy when I came home and my house was still clean, everything in place.

About: Since I was a teenager, I've been entrusted with the care of pets belonging to friends, relatives, and neighbors. They know they can rely on me to give their furry buddies the attention they deserve. What sets me apart is my experience in administering various medications, including insulin for both dogs and cats. I've become quite skilled at handling those sometimes-tricky injections. Whether it's insulin, oral medications, or other prescribed treatments, I'll make sure your pet gets the right dosage at the right time. On top of that, I have two cats and two dogs of my own who are my absolute world. Having my own pets has taught me the importance of patience, love, and understanding when it comes to providing exceptional care. When you choose me as your pet sitter, you can rest easy knowing that your pets will receive the highest level of care. From medication administration to cuddles and playtime, I'll give your furry companions all the attention and love they need. They'll be in great hands with me! As someone who works from home in the commercial Insurance field, I have the flexibility to effortlessly incorporate pet care into my daily and weekly routine. During the day, I'm available to make sure your pets are comfortable and happy. Regular bathroom breaks are a must, and I'll make sure your furry friends have plenty of opportunities to stretch their legs and do their business while they're with me. Once my workday winds down in the evenings, my focus shifts to spending quality time with the pets in my care. We'll go for leisurely walks, engage in playful activities, and I'll give them all the attention they need to keep their tails wagging and their spirits high. If needed, I can easily rearrange my workspace to stay close to your pets throughout the day. Your pets' safety and well-being are my top priorities, and I'll always be there to address their needs promptly. For your convenience, I'm available for Drop-In visits before 8 am and after 4:45 PM on weekdays. Whether it's feeding, potty breaks, or playtime, I'm here to provide the necessary care during these times to fit your schedule. Rest assured that your pets will be pampered and loved as if they were my own. I understand the importance of consistency, and I'll create a warm and structured environment where your furry companions can thrive and feel right at home. When it comes to caring for pets, I prioritize their safety, trust, and happiness, whether they're in my home or in their own cozy space. For dogs, I have a fantastic fenced-in yard where they can freely explore and have a blast off-leash. It's a secure space where they can burn off their energy and have a paw-some time! If your furry friend is a small animal that prefers or requires a crate, I've got you covered. I have crates available to ensure their comfort and safety. Just let me know if you'd like them to have their own cozy space. In addition to these services, I offer drop-in visits, which means I'll swing by your place to take care of all the important stuff—feeding, bathroom breaks, and playtime included! It's a great way to ensure your pets are happy and well taken care of while you're away. Whether you need boarding, house sitting, drop-in visits, doggy daycare, or dog walking, I've got you and your furry pals covered! Your pets will feel right at home during boarding or house sitting, getting all the love and attention they deserve. Doggy daycare is a fun and stimulating experience for your pups, while dog walking ensures they stay fit, healthy, and have a wag-tastic time outside. Rest assured, I'll treat your pets like family—providing a safe, loving, and comfortable environment no matter where they are. You can count on me to make their experience full of tail wags, purrs, and all-around happiness!

About: I have cared for cats for most of my life but 5 years ago my fiancé and I adopted my first dog. For the past 5 years, I’ve cared for my dog, Mary Jane, who has been my sweetest teacher in understanding dog behavior, routines, and communication. Through caring for her, I’ve gained hands-on experience with daily walking, feeding schedules, basic training reinforcement, administering simple medications, and creating a calm, consistent environment for a happy pup. I have also cared for many friends pets while they were away on vacation. I may be new to Rover, but I’m not new to being a responsible, attentive animal owner. Caring for animals is already woven into my daily rhythm. I work part-time with flexible hours, giving me plenty of space in my schedule for peaceful walks, playtime, and check-ins with pets. I’m used to creating a balanced routine around my own dog, and bringing that same calm, attentive energy to other pets feels completely natural. I am currently free to sit/walk any day of the week. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I focus on creating a safe, calm, and familiar environment for them. I follow your routines exactly as you outline them — from feeding instructions to walk times to any training cues your dog is used to. I keep doors and gates secured, monitor their body language closely, and make sure they always have fresh water and a comfortable space to relax. Trust is extremely important to me, so I communicate clearly, send updates/photos, and treat your home with the same respect and care I treat your pet.

About: Hi there! My name is Jen and I want to help you make sure your fur babies are well taken care of and loved while you’re away! I’ve been pet sitting for a few years now and like many started out pet sitting for friends and family. In college, I started working with JN Care for Pets, a DC-based pet care company, where I cared for cats, dogs, and even reptiles! I’ve cared for a wide variety of dogs — from small dogs to high-energy large breeds and everything in between. Whether they tug on their leash or can jump to my shoulders, I want to make sure they still get to play outside and go for quality walks while you’re away. In addition to dogs, I’ve had plenty of experience with other animals, too! I have experience with both indoor and outdoor cats. I’ve fostered kittens as young as 4 months old, which included post-spay care for two female kittens. I also currently live at a cat sanctuary for shelter cats that were deemed “unadoptable”, and I frequently assist with feeding, socializing, and general care for both friendly and unfriendly cats. As everyone knows one of the toughest parts of working with cats is medications, and I have experience administering liquid and pill medication to three extremely uncooperative kittens, as well as assisting with flea preventatives for more than 20 cats. I even have experience with reptiles! Just because your pets isn’t a common type, doesn’t mean it doesn’t deserve the same level of care as a cat or dog. I’m here to make sure their enclosure maintains proper conditions, they receive any medications needed, and they get their feed worms every night! Whether your pet needs a calm presence, lots of playtime, or special attention to medical needs, I’m here to make sure they feel safe, loved, and happy while you’re away. I’m a young professional with a full-time day job, but it’s pretty flexible. I’m typically available morning before 8am and evening after 4pm, and on my lunch breaks if you’re in the Dover area. I can shift around my schedule a bit on an as needed basis. I want to make sure your pets have a loving environment while you’re away! I’ll make sure they have consistent access to food, water, medicine, walks, and playtime in line with their routine. I know firsthand how important routines can be for our furry friends, and will make sure they don’t have to lose their routine while you’re away.

About: I have been caring for my own pets for 8 years as well as people in my neighborhoods pets for about 5 years. I absolutely love animals and treat them as if they were my own. I am currently in school and work part time on campus in the evenings but I can still make time to look after your lovely pets! I have hours to spare between classes and would definitely do my utmost to ensure we both can reach to an agreement on time! There is not much fencing in my apartment complex, however there is a decent amount of space and grass to move around if your pet loves to walk! There is also a lake that we could stroll around for a some fresh air and a view.
