“Hannah definitely took care of my babies as if they were her own. My crew was very comfortable with her and loved her. They needed medication and she was definitely comfortable giving them their meds. I will definitely book her again in the future!”

“Elizabeth was very responsive throughout the process of scheduling, a pre-visit, and while we were away. She took videos, sent pictures, and a report for each visit. We had peace of mind leaving our pups with someone besides family. We will definitely request Elizabeth again.”

“Busara is just who we needed with our first time ever leaving my grandpup with someone. Today was our 2nd day and when the doorbell rang Chance ran to the door to greet her! We received updates and pictures with throughout their time together. We have already booked Busara again for Chance and will continue to use her when Chance comes to visit! Book her you will not be disappointed!!”

“Samantha is amazing! She took great care of our pups while we were on vacation. Her communication was very good from beginning to end; she sent pictures and recaps during every visit. She even went above and beyond and brought our mail in the house and cleaned up after one of our pups when she had an accident. Highly recommend!! It felt good knowing our babies were well taken care of and we could relax. Thank you so much Samantha, will definitely book with you again!”

“Liz is amazing my 3 big babies. They love her so much and whenever she sand me pictures they are always so happy and smiling. I trust Liz and will always get her to watch my babies. Sometimes I think my babies love when we go on vacation so they get to play with Liz!! Biggest hugs and kisses to Liz from Rocket, Cricket, and Alabama!!!!”

About: Animals have been a part of my life for over 25 years. I grew up in a home full of pets and can’t remember a time without them. Over the years, I’ve cared for dogs, guinea pigs, hamsters, fish, and even a lizard. As an adult, I’ve chosen to adopt rescue dogs and guinea pigs because helping animals has always been important to me. I treat every pet as if they were my own and strive to make them feel safe, loved, and cared for while you’re away. 🐾❤️ I currently work part-time so I have the time to care of your pets and take care of all their needs. My availability is flexible most days. I can do whatever you prefer for your pets in your home. Whatever their routine is, how you like things to be done to keep them feeling safe and comfortable.
“Delaney was wonderful. It made me feel better knowing they could stop in to care for my dog when I had a last minute work event come up. They sent great pictures and were very communicative. And put up with all my information as a nervous owner.”

About: I worked at a grooming company that specialized in bathing both dogs and cats. I can train puppies/young dogs to sit, stay and lay down. I’m currently working at chick fil a but I’m available anytime after 2pm (sometimes after 4pm) Monday through Saturday and Sunday I’m available all day My home is puppy safe i have a lot of puppy gates and everything is put up that can cause harm! And I have a fenced in yard for potty breaks for the dogs! As for cats they will have their own room to share away from the dogs and it’s all set up to be safe and stress free since I have three cats as well!
“Zackie was great! Thank you so much for taking care of Harper! I was able to go out of town and not worry. She showed up on time every visit which was important for Harper’s meds. I will definitely request her again!!”

“As always Liz has been amazing with our cats. The amount of patience she has with our little cats is amazing. We came back and they are very happy and well taken care of. Thank you again!”

“Absolutely wonderful! Was able to help us last minute and was very communicative and sent a ton of pictures which we love and appreciate!! Definitely will be using Giovanni again!”

“Both of my dogs were happy and healthy when I returned from my trip. I truly felt they were in good hands, which is such a relief, because I always feel bad when I have to leave them. Shelby was great!! Will definitely work with her again.”

About: I’ve had dogs since I was a baby. When I got to middle school my friend asked to watch her dogs while her family was out of town and I agreed. While Covid was still around I would do virtual school and take care of our dogs while my parents worked. I am hoping to do this part time while I am home from college (Between Middle of May and Early August). I am available any time during the day. I can feed the dogs or medicine if needed, fill the water bowls, take them outside (a fenced yard is preferred please or trained), I am willing to walk dogs to get any energy out.
“Luie was wonderful! He came by to walk our dog, Cooper, and made sure he was fed while we were away overnight. Cooper was well cared for, and we felt at ease knowing he was in good hands. Highly recommend!”

“Mercy went above and beyond caring for our 3 animals. They spent time with BMO (who is a lovebird) reading to him and making sure he stays social while we were away. They gave lots of attention to our very needy cat who loves all the attention from everyone. They made sure to check in with our elderly cat to make sure she was OK while we were away because she gets stressed. I highly recommend Mercy for your pet care needs, and we will be using them again.”

My shy cat Mystic and I had a great experience with Destiny during my 12 day trip. I really appreciated the detailed updates, photos, and thoughtful communication throughout my trip. Destiny was patient, caring, and clearly took time to make Mystic comfortable and engaged. Even during a storm/power outage situation, she was very proactive and communicative. I highly recommend Destiny, I’d definitely use her again!
Allison is the very best!!! My cats loved her from the get go and she made sure everything was taken care of while we were gone for 9 days. She went above and beyond and kept up with daily communication. We will absolutely be reaching out to Allison again for future trips :)

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
