About: Animals have been a part of my life for over 25 years. I grew up in a home full of pets and can’t remember a time without them. Over the years, I’ve cared for dogs, guinea pigs, hamsters, fish, and even a lizard. As an adult, I’ve chosen to adopt rescue dogs and guinea pigs because helping animals has always been important to me. I treat every pet as if they were my own and strive to make them feel safe, loved, and cared for while you’re away. 🐾❤️ I currently work part-time so I have the time to care of your pets and take care of all their needs. My availability is flexible most days. I can do whatever you prefer for your pets in your home. Whatever their routine is, how you like things to be done to keep them feeling safe and comfortable.
“Delaney was wonderful. It made me feel better knowing they could stop in to care for my dog when I had a last minute work event come up. They sent great pictures and were very communicative. And put up with all my information as a nervous owner.”

About: I worked at a grooming company that specialized in bathing both dogs and cats. I can train puppies/young dogs to sit, stay and lay down. I’m currently working at chick fil a but I’m available anytime after 2pm (sometimes after 4pm) Monday through Saturday and Sunday I’m available all day My home is puppy safe i have a lot of puppy gates and everything is put up that can cause harm! And I have a fenced in yard for potty breaks for the dogs! As for cats they will have their own room to share away from the dogs and it’s all set up to be safe and stress free since I have three cats as well!
“Elizabeth did a great job taking care of my cat. She was very diligent , and went above and beyond to make sure she got her meds. I highly recommend her as a sitter for your fur babies.”
“Shelby was an incredible sitter for our two cats! Followed all of our care instructions, and was very respectful of our home and our cats. I would recommend Shelby to anyone looking for pet care. Thanks again, Shelby!”

“Luis was so patient with all my cats, especially my big boy, diabetic, zor. He's very skittish and a difficult patient to give a shot to. He was patient and successful. He sent me pictures of my fur babies, I knew they were well cared for.”

“Keaton is great. She has bonded well with our two dogs. She's always on time and the dogs like playing with her. She even cleans up before she leaves. We're so happy we have her to take care of our babies.”

About: I have cared for cats for most of my life but 5 years ago my fiancé and I adopted my first dog. For the past 5 years, I’ve cared for my dog, Mary Jane, who has been my sweetest teacher in understanding dog behavior, routines, and communication. Through caring for her, I’ve gained hands-on experience with daily walking, feeding schedules, basic training reinforcement, administering simple medications, and creating a calm, consistent environment for a happy pup. I have also cared for many friends pets while they were away on vacation. I may be new to Rover, but I’m not new to being a responsible, attentive animal owner. Caring for animals is already woven into my daily rhythm. I work part-time with flexible hours, giving me plenty of space in my schedule for peaceful walks, playtime, and check-ins with pets. I’m used to creating a balanced routine around my own dog, and bringing that same calm, attentive energy to other pets feels completely natural. I am currently free to sit/walk any day of the week. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I focus on creating a safe, calm, and familiar environment for them. I follow your routines exactly as you outline them — from feeding instructions to walk times to any training cues your dog is used to. I keep doors and gates secured, monitor their body language closely, and make sure they always have fresh water and a comfortable space to relax. Trust is extremely important to me, so I communicate clearly, send updates/photos, and treat your home with the same respect and care I treat your pet.
“As always, Nicole did a fabulous job. This time we were international and because Nicole was so trustworthy, professional, and outstanding in shorter visits in the past, we felt totally comfortable asking her to care for our senior cats for two weeks—they’re a handful as two need prescription diets and one was on medication. Nicole took excellent care of them. I’d trust her any time.”

“Helen did such a great job. She made me super comfortable taking care of my fur babies for the week. Will definitely be using her in the future!! Booking next service tonight!! Thanks so much Helen!!!”

About: Hello! I’m Erin, a full-time high school teacher and pet-sitter on the side. I’m an animal lover and I have been pet sitting for 10+ years. I have a ton of experience caring for a variety of dog breeds and cats, as well as a few smaller animals (rabbits, hamsters, birds, and fish). I’m calm, caring, and patient, with a soft spot for senior animals. I’ve had a great deal of experience caring for my own senior pets (both dogs and cats). I’ve provided care for animals with diapers, medication, and mild mobility issues. I’m also experienced in caring for diabetic cats and administering insulin, as I’ve helped two of my rescues go into remission. I strive to provide the best care possible for pets, and peace of mind for their owners! Please be aware that starting August 25th, I will be at work from 7:35 am-3:05 pm. I’m currently a full time as a high school teacher, so from 7:35-3:05 on week days, I’m usually at work. If I am pet sitting during the week, I head straight to the pets at the end of the work day. On weekends, I am able to dedicate most, if not all, of the day to spending time with your pets. This is also the case over the summer. I provide pet care in client’s homes, per the directions provided by the clients. Prior to caring for your pet(s), I ask that we arrange a time for me to meet your pet(s) and go over all pertinent information regarding their care and safety.
“Christina took excellent care of our two cats and a hermit crab while we were away for a whole holiday week. The update notes and photos made us feel so much better while we were so far away. Her knowledge and skills gave us complete confidence, and we would absolutely book with her again in the future.”

My shy cat Mystic and I had a great experience with Destiny during my 12 day trip. I really appreciated the detailed updates, photos, and thoughtful communication throughout my trip. Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Wyoming. On Rover:

- 97% can help with giving oral medications or injections

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
