When I’m house sitting, I can work remotely from your home so your pets can enjoy the same companionship while staying in their familiar environment. I’m happy to follow their usual schedule for meals, walks, potty breaks, medications, playtime, and downtime. Wherever I’m caring for your pet, I do my best to maintain their normal routine and make their time away from you feel as comfortable and familiar as possible. Whether I’m caring for your pets in my home or yours, their safety and comfort are my priority. I pay close attention to body language, behavior, and each pet’s individual needs, and I’m happy to follow their normal feeding, medication, exercise, and care routines. In my home, I have a fully fenced yard and plenty of space for dogs to play, relax, or take a break when they need one. I’m experienced with multi-dog households, different play styles, and recognizing when a dog needs some space. I also have gates to block access to stairs or separate areas of the home when needed, as well as multiple large crates for dogs who are crate-trained and feel most comfortable having their own space. When I’m house sitting, I’ll care for your pets and your home with the same attention I give my own. I’ll follow your instructions closely, maintain your pet’s usual routine, respect any household rules or safety precautions, and make sure your home is secure while you’re away. I’m also happy to provide regular updates and photos so you can relax knowing your pets are safe and well cared for.

About: I grew up with dogs and cats, have fostered both and been a cat owner. I have also helped friends and acquaintances with their pets while they are away. My experience includes walking dogs, scooping 💩, changing litter boxes, providing food and play to pets, and completing general house sitting tasks. I have also administered eye medications to kittens before and allergy meds to dogs. I have also lived on a couple of farms and helped take care of horses, goats, chickens, and even a rabbit. I would love to take care of your pet and offer you the peace of mind to know I will love on and care for them as if they were my own :) I’m self-employed, so I have plenty of time available to care for your pets. Specifically, I am a Certified Public Accountant who quit her consulting job to become a part-time farmer! I am currently operating my own micro-farm growing organic vegetables and flowers in South Austin which allows my schedule to be very flexible. I am available for boarding, house-sitting, pet walking and drop-in visits to feed and play with cats and dogs (and other animals on a case by case basis). I am happy to visit and care for a variety of pets by feeding and playing with them as well as helping with any household tasks including plant watering, checking the mail and throwing out trash/recycling. I am currently living in a tiny home on my own on a large plot of land with plenty of access to unfenced outdoor space if you are interested in boarding your pets. I am also very happy to come to your home for drop-in visits and/or to stay overnight if you and your pets would be more comfortable with that option. For dogs, I am happy to spend time indoors with them playing with toys and giving them good belly scratches as well as take them outdoors either into the backyard and/or on walks. I have experience both with big dogs including a German Shepherd, Great Pyrenees lab mix, Australian Shepherds, and shelter dogs as well as smaller dogs including a Teacup Pomeranian and an Iggie. I’m very active, so if your dog has a lot of energy and likes to go on runs, I am happy to run with them as well. For cats, I am happy to match their energy levels - if they are playful and energetic, I engage with them and encourage play. If they prefer to sleep or rest or are more shy, I am happy to just be around and pet them/brush them if they would like or just give them space. I am happy to care for other pets if requested and I am comfortable with the care instructions. I have previously cared for a tortoise, which mainly consisted of feeding him and giving him water.

About: I have operated a professional pet care business in the Austin area since 2014. I have experience caring for a wide variety of animals including dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, sugar gliders, rats, mice, birds, chickens, and sheep. I am Pet First Aid & CPR trained, have experience giving both oral and injectable medications, and am passionate about all things animal. Providing quality pet care is my full-time job, and I love what I do! I was raised around German Shepherds, but these days I share my home with a medium-haired cat named Tofu and a belgian malinois named Safi. I’ve spent a lot of time caring for animals, both at home and professionally as I used to be a veterinary technician for four years. I’m now a stay-at-home mom, but my love for animals hasn’t changed I still love being around pets and would be so happy to help care for yours! Our home is a cozy three bedroom space, and one of the rooms is set up as a guest room with a twin bed—our cat loves to lounge there! About: I'm an owner of 4 dogs of different sizes, breeds, and age. Loved teaching basic commands and playing with them throughout the day. Have dog sat for friends and family, while they are away. About: I have owned a dog my entire life, worked in a veterinary clinic, and was a service dog raiser for 3.5 years while getting my Animal Science degree. My friends and family also trust me to sit their dogs when they are away. I am currently unemployed so have a lot of availability during the week.
