Schedule

I work remotely full-time, which gives me plenty of flexibility to spend time with the pets in my care—whether they’re staying in my home or I’m house sitting in theirs. For dogs staying with me, I’m home throughout the day for plenty of attention, supervision, and frequent potty and play breaks in our fenced yard. They’re welcome to hang out with me while I work or find a comfortable spot to relax and nap. When I’m house sitting, I can work remotely from your home so your pets can enjoy the same companionship while staying in their familiar environment. I’m happy to follow their usual schedule for meals, walks, potty breaks, medications, playtime, and downtime. Wherever I’m caring for your pet, I do my best to maintain their normal routine and make their time away from you feel as comfortable and familiar as possible.

Safety, trust & environment

Whether I’m caring for your pets in my home or yours, their safety and comfort are my priority. I pay close attention to body language, behavior, and each pet’s individual needs, and I’m happy to follow their normal feeding, medication, exercise, and care routines. In my home, I have a fully fenced yard and plenty of space for dogs to play, relax, or take a break when they need one. I’m experienced with multi-dog households, different play styles, and recognizing when a dog needs some space. I also have gates to block access to stairs or separate areas of the home when needed, as well as multiple large crates for dogs who are crate-trained and feel most comfortable having their own space. When I’m house sitting, I’ll care for your pets and your home with the same attention I give my own. I’ll follow your instructions closely, maintain your pet’s usual routine, respect any household rules or safety precautions, and make sure your home is secure while you’re away. I’m also happy to provide regular updates and photos so you can relax knowing your pets are safe and well cared for.

Pets

A typical day

Every dog is different, so I like to tailor the day to what your pup enjoys! For higher-energy dogs, that can mean walks, playing with toys, outdoor time, and plenty of supervised play. For lower-energy or senior dogs, I’m just as happy to provide a cozy place to nap, lots of pets, and some time relaxing in the sun. Dogs staying with me can enjoy plenty of playtime and potty breaks in our fenced yard throughout the day. When I’m house sitting, I’ll stick as closely as possible to your dog’s usual routine and favorite activities—whether that means their normal walking route, backyard playtime, or curling up together on the couch. Since I work remotely, I’m around throughout the day for attention, potty breaks, playtime, and plenty of company. Whether your dog is staying with me or enjoying the comfort of their own home, my goal is for them to feel happy, comfortable, and well cared for while you’re away!

I’d love to know as much as possible about your dog before their stay! Please tell me about their normal routine, personality, energy level, play style, feeding schedule, medications, and any favorite activities or comfort items. Please also let me know about any resource guarding, escape tendencies, separation anxiety, fears or triggers, medical needs, or other quirks that will help me keep your pup happy and safe. For dogs staying in my home, it’s especially important that I know how they typically interact with other dogs, including anything that makes them nervous or uncomfortable. When I’m house sitting, I’d love to know the details of their usual routine, household rules, and anything else that helps them feel comfortable and secure in their own home. The more I know, the better I can provide care that feels familiar and comfortable while you’re away!
