If you know your dog won’t run away, we can play in the unfenced area of the backyard :) I do have a 30 ft leash that I normally use to play with my dog outside. I’m free most of the time. I just need more advanced notice if it is an overnight stay over just a drop in at your home. I will care for your pets however is needed and instructed. I have taken care of multiple senior dogs and dogs that take oral medication.

When I was 22 I adopted my soulmate, Peaches. Five years later, she was diagnosed with heart failure at a terrifying hospital visit. My quick (panicked) reaction, and the incredible doctors, saved her life. She lived another happy 10 months with vigilance and guidance! Having to pill her twice a day, and keep a close eye, I became a pro! At the same time, I was taking care of clients pets, never missing a beat. June 2026 I moved from Virginia where I was one half of 9 Tails Pet Care LLC! You'll see my name mentioned in the Google reviews. We had about 50 clients, some were every day dog walks, some were just vacation bookings, but I loved them all! I was the team lead, and lead caregiver for three years. You can see from my photos, I cared for all kinds of animals. Not much intimidates me anymore lol! Special skills include giving medications, insulin, incredible patience and attention to detail. I'm annoyingly attentive to the weird little individual things- who's nervous, who needs patience, who has a routine, who's uncomfortable, who can I make MORE comfortable, what might the owner worry about while they're away. Every pet, every visit, is treated like my own. I am available, and used to, a full time pet care schedule! Having just moved from my last position in Virginia, I'm ready to establish an incredible client base here in Bastrop. I have a large fenced yard at home, on a quiet street. Pets will never be left unattended, and will always be on leash when leaving the home. Pets will always be handled gently and with care, while maintaining a strong grip on the leash! Water bowls will be clean and filled at every visit, every time. In home cameras are welcome to keep a close eye on your baby! I will also be snapping pictures for you to follow along on our adventures.
“Wow! What a great experience with Lakeisha! She was on time, Sat and talked to me about her history…very friendly, asked question about my dog, the whole 9 yards! My 90- pound dog really took to Keisha. She took him on a 30-minute walk and sent video while they walked. He was a well- behaved, happy to be on a walk dog!! I think she and my dog made an instant connect. He was happy when he got back and so was I. Lakeisha will be here 3 days a week and my pup and I look forward to it! I highly recommend Lakeisha!!”
About: I have owned a dog my entire life, worked in a veterinary clinic, and was a service dog raiser for 3.5 years while getting my Animal Science degree. My friends and family also trust me to sit their dogs when they are away. I am currently unemployed so have a lot of availability during the week. I am usually busy on weekends but have some availabile at times. I will stay in a home with a pet, or bring a pet into my home. The home visits can include walking, feeding, playing, and other requests!
About: Growing up i’ve always loved dogs and cats. i have a special place in my heart for animals. i used to take care of neighbors pets and family pets, which included training, bathing, walks and of course lots of quality time! About: Trained my Australian shepherd when I was young and have lived with animals my whole life. I am very good at reading animal body language and personalities from having animals my entire life. All 4 of my childhood pets lived well past their regular life expectancies due to very diligent vet work and exercise. I have dog say senior dogs with special needs, puppies, cats, rodents, and birds. I love animals and honestly any excuse to meet new ones is very exciting. I can always work Sundays and Fridays and I have time Tuesday and wednesday evenings to check in on them when needed or go on a little walk. My cat is fed 3 times a day for a total of 2/3 cup of food, he has a play routine before bed, is let on the balcony for fresh air with his harness and a line connected to the door so he cannot get to the edge of the concrete. He takes his flea meds every month, and goes to the vet every 6 for a little check in as he’s on a small weight loss journey. I work 6-8hrs a day 5 days a week but luckily he has a a cat roommate to nap and play with while I’m gone
About: I’ve been a huge dog lover since I was ten years old! Growing up, I pet-sat for neighbors, family, and friends, so I’m very comfortable with feeding, walking, and keeping pups entertained. I’ve owned three dogs throughout my life and am currently a proud Shih Tzu owner, so I definitely know my way around a big 'lion dog' personality!
