I have volunteered at animal shelters, wildlife rescue facilities, and animal therapy organizations. When volunteering at shelters, I bathed dogs, cleaned up their poop, played with, and walked them as well as played with cats. Additionally, I enjoy outdoor activities very much, so I am definitely in shape to walk your dogs and play with them. I hope I can be of service to you and your dog(s). My backyard is unfenced, except for the patio area and a room sized square for dogs to pee/poop in. Dogs are not allowed on furniture, but they can be on the bed if they stay on top of the blanket. If you know your dog won’t run away, we can play in the unfenced area of the backyard :) I do have a 30 ft leash that I normally use to play with my dog outside. I’m free most of the time. I just need more advanced notice if it is an overnight stay over just a drop in at your home. I will care for your pets however is needed and instructed. I have taken care of multiple senior dogs and dogs that take oral medication.

My cat is fed 3 times a day for a total of 2/3 cup of food, he has a play routine before bed, is let on the balcony for fresh air with his harness and a line connected to the door so he cannot get to the edge of the concrete. He takes his flea meds every month, and goes to the vet every 6 for a little check in as he’s on a small weight loss journey. I work 6-8hrs a day 5 days a week but luckily he has a a cat roommate to nap and play with while I’m gone

Our home is a cozy three bedroom space, and one of the rooms is set up as a guest room with a twin bed—our cat loves to lounge there! She’s also welcome on the couches, and the same goes for any other four legged visitors. We also have a spacious, fenced backyard that’s perfect for playtime or lounging in the sun. If it’s more convenient for me to come to your home, I’m happy to make that work as long as you’re okay with me bringing my baby along if needed and your pets are gentle and comfortable around little ones.

About: I've had a lot of pets in my life. I currently have 6 dogs and 3 cats. I have experience with reactive dogs and dog selective dogs. I deal mostly with large and extra large dogs but have owned medium and small dogs. I've worked for a boarding kennel before so I have some professional experience with that. I am also a current foster to shelter dogs so I see different breeds and personalities all the time. I work a full time job. I work nights so I'm usually available during the day early mornings and evenings on the days I work. I can always find a way to make it work. I have dogs that do not get along with other dogs or people. I am very used to a crate and rotate schedule and I'm very conscious of my dogs mood and behavior. I also have foster dogs, so I have new dogs in and out and ensuring safety is my top priority.
About: I have owned a dog my entire life, worked in a veterinary clinic, and was a service dog raiser for 3.5 years while getting my Animal Science degree. My friends and family also trust me to sit their dogs when they are away. I am currently unemployed so have a lot of availability during the week. About: From owning pets for over 10+ years, I've changed careers and learned new skills so that I would be able to properly take care of my pets by being as present as possible. I'm a dental hygienist, data analyst, web developer, and just an all around nerd - all license and certified, but my passion for animals never faded. One of the best things that I've learned about training pets is, instead of saying no and disciplining, we should guide them to what we want them to do and treat to reenforce the positive behavior rather than punish the negative (I promise, it takes longer, but it keeps them nice) I'm currently working part time and will be available to help with the little ones!
