About: I love to give pet owners peace of mind knowing their pets are safe and receiving attentive care while they’re away. I will give them all the love and attention to help them pass the time until you’re home. I am currently working part time so I have a lot of flexibility in my work schedule. Part time also allows me to provide care on days that I am working. Any rules or boundaries set by you will be honored. I will respect your home and your pets and provide the care you know they deserve.
About: Hi! I’m Amanda—a lifelong animal lover, BCBA by day, and your pet’s new favorite human by night! 🐾 Whether your pup needs belly rubs and a brisk walk or your cat just wants a cozy companion, I’m here to make sure they feel safe, loved, and well cared for while you’re away. As a full-time educator, I know how important consistency, safety, and connection are—yes, even for our four-legged friends! I bring that same gentle, attentive energy to every visit and walk. ✅ Available for drop-in visits, dog walks and companionship ✅ Experienced with different sizes and temperaments ✅ Patient, playful, and calm energy ✅ Happy to support feeding, litter cleanup, and routines ✅ Updates and photos every visit for your peace of mind Let’s chat—I’d love to meet your furry family member! As a BCBA working in the school system, I am currently off for the summer, so my availability is wide open. In the fall I will work regular school hours 7:30-2:30pm 4 days/ week. During the week I am available for afternoon and early evening visits. On the weekends my availability is open! I build in dedicated time for each visit to ensure I’m never rushed, and every pet gets my full attention. I care for pets in their own home with the same respect and attentiveness I would offer in my own. I follow all provided instructions closely—whether that includes feeding schedules, medication, preferred walking routes, or favorite toys—and I always take time to observe how each pet is feeling that day and send updates and pictures. During drop-in visits, I offer gentle, calm energy and prioritize connection so your pet feels safe and seen. I’ll make sure they’re fed, comfortable, and get affection or playtime based on their needs and personality. On walks, I stay alert and keep pets secure while still giving them time to sniff, explore, and enjoy the moment. I will always leave your home just as I found it—or even a little better. My goal is for both pets and owners to feel completely at ease while we’re on our routine together
“It was too wet/rainy outside to walk Gidget, but I kept the appointment time anyway. I wanted to start once a week walks for Gidget to get used to seeing Katie around before house sitting for us. Hubby said that she took the time to get to know her and vice versa. Very pleased with Katie.”
About: I have lived with dogs my whole life and can't imagine my life without them. I will treat your animals with as much love and compassion as if they were my own pet. I will follow your instructions with the greatest care and I will do everything I can to make your pet feel safe and happy. Can't wait to meet your furry friends!

About: Been taking care of dogs for 6 years now. Have had experience training two of my own dogs and taking care of them/walking them on my own. I also work alongside with my father (also named Luis ) who has been doing dog boarding for about 2 years now. Me and my father are very used to the behavior of dogs and comfortable with dogs no matter the size or the breed of your dog. I have always had a strong love and a passion for animals, especially dogs I am currently a college student looking to make a little bit extra money by taking care of dogs. If I cannot look after the dog, my dad also takes care of dogs and is always available Me and my father don't live in a very busy neighborhood so you don't have to worry about your dog being unsafe. We have a relatively big house and also have a park very close to my house with a big open field and fence for the dogs to run around in were I can walk your dog and play with them to keep them busy without the risk of them getting hurt. I also have many toys for your dogs to play with if you would like for me to have them get a more fun experience instead of just walking them.

I have had farm animals so I have that experience as well. I am looking to fill my time with some amazing animals because of my love for them. I take care of everything from farm animals to cats. I can watch cat friendly dogs in my home. I have gates and a safe environment. I am more than willing to watch pets in the clients home as well to make them feel comfortable and help with routine.
About: I've been caring for animals since I was in elementary school, starting with my own pets and eventually helping care for the pets of family members, friends, neighbors, and coworkers. Animals have always been a big part of my life, and I truly enjoy spending time with them and building loving friendships with each one. Whether it's going for long walks, playtime, feeding, administering basic care, or simply providing companionship, I make sure every pet feels safe, comfortable, and loved while you're away. I'm also a proud cat owner, and caring for my own cat has given me firsthand experience in providing attentive, daily care and understanding the importance of patience, consistency, and affection. I genuinely love all animals and treat every pet as if they were my own. My goal is to provide dependable, loving care and give you peace of mind knowing your furry family member is happy, safe, and well cared for. I have full time employment as a classroom teacher! I am now on summer break so I will have plenty of time to hang out and play with your pets!☺️ When caring for pets in my home or a client’s home, my priority is always making them feel safe, comfortable, and loved while keeping their normal routine as consistent as possible. In a client’s home, I follow all instructions closely, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and any special care needs. I make sure pets receive plenty of attention, affection, and companionship so they feel relaxed and cared for while their owners are away. I also keep their space clean, fresh, and stress-free, and I always provide updates with messages and photos so you can have peace of mind. For dogs, I enjoy going on long, engaging walks and making sure they get both exercise and enrichment. For cats, I focus on gentle care, play, and respecting their comfort level—whether that means interactive play or quiet companionship.
About: I've had dogs since I was 10 and participated with their health care growing up and decided I wanted to be in the veterinary field from that point. I started pet sitting for a farm in 2017-2021. I went to school to be a veterinary assistant in 2020. I later got a job at a vet clinic in 2021 and started pet sitting for clients there on the side. I've had 4 years experience with observing animal behavior and know what to look for when a pet is feeling ill, restraint, nail trims, administering medications, injections, and treatments. I also worked for a summer at a dog boarding facility and have experience with observing play behaviors to prevent fights from breaking out in groups. I just recently quit my full-time veterinary assistant job in October 2025, due to workplace drama and still have some regular pet sitting clients from the vet clinic, but thought I'd give this a shot to widen my clientele. If you like my services, I encourage you to contact me outside of Rover! I can only take on other dog friendly dogs in my house because I have 2 myself. I'm willing to go to your house for visits if they're not dog friendly. I have an unfenced yard, so any dogs staying with me will go outside on a leash. Dogs must be crate trianed to stay at my house. My dogs stay out when I go on errands or out for the evening, but get locked up at night.
About: Dogs have been a central part of my life for as long as I can remember. Growing up surrounded by them taught me early on that dogs aren't just pets—they are full-fledged family members who deserve the best care possible. My deepest bond will always be with my girl Ellie. She was my whole world, and caring for her shaped how I view and interact with every dog I meet: with patience, genuine affection, and unconditional devotion. I understand how much your dog means to you because I know how much Ellie meant to me. Whether your pup needs active exercise, structured play, or just a attentive companion while you’re away, I promise to care for them with the exact same love and attention I gave my own. My schedule is completely dedicated to weekend pet care! Because my Saturdays and Sundays are reserved specifically for dog care, your pup gets my full, undivided time and attention. Whether it's active morning walks, structured play, or relaxing companionship, weekends are 100% focused on keeping your dog happy and safe. My approach to pet safety and care was defined by my bond with Ellie, who inspired my lifelong standard for how dogs should be treated. I understand how much your pup means to you because I know how much Ellie meant to me—which is why their safety and comfort are my absolute top priority. Whether in your home or out on walks, I maintain active supervision and strict security measures, from double-checking gates to safe leash practices. I stick closely to your dog's regular schedule so they feel confident and calm while you're away. Expect consistent communication and plenty of picture updates throughout the stay.

I’m also comfortable caring for dogs with special routines or medications. Your dog’s safety and happiness are my top priorities, and I’ll keep you updated with pictures and messages while you’re away! 🐶❤️ I recently moved to Connecticut with my boyfriend to start a new chapter in our lives. While we look for a new home, I have no work. I’m looking for pet-sitting opportunities. Right now I have a very flexible schedule, so I’m available to give your pets plenty of attention, care, and love! 🐾❤️ I’m currently staying somewhere temporarily while my boyfriend and I look for our own home, so I’m not able to have pets stay with me right now. However, I’m more than happy to come to your home and care for your pets there! I have a very flexible schedule and can stay for as long as your pets need, whether that’s a few hours, overnight, or multiple days. 🐾❤️

I’ve grew up with cats my whole life and currently have one; I have owned a dog, leopard gecko, guinea pig, fish, and small insects. I have also pet sat a lovebird and bunny before! I have a large back yard in which your dogs are free in run in, though not fenced in, and a spacious house with one cat that has her own space if needed to be separated. I also go on hikes every week and try to go on them every day, so I’d love to take your pet on long walks or just chill at home with them!

About: I have had pets in my life since I was a baby. We have enjoyed a lab, standard poodle and currently a mini cocker spaniel poodle mix. I love getting outside and being active with pets. I am at home with my daughter most of the time and I enjoy doing side hustles like selling vintage clothing online and seeking out antiques. We get outside with our dog, Carl often and would love to get a chance to offer outside time and love to other pets on Rover too! I always approach pets slowly with care and love. They feel our energy big time and have so much to share with us when we give them the chance.
About: I have taken care of family/friends dogs for over 13 years. I have done drop in visits, over night stays and just dog walking. I have worked with all different breeds, sizes and ages! I have experience with puppies, senior pets, and dogs with different energy levels and temperaments. Whether that means reinforcing house-training and basic commands with a puppy, administering medications to a senior pet, or simply providing plenty of exercise and companionship, I tailor my care to each animal's needs. I love taking pictures of our furry friends so ill always be sure to keep you updated when im with them! I'm currently working full time but I can always do drop in visits and dog walking after work hours during the week and on weekends my availability is pretty much wide open on Saturdays and Sundays (typically when I take my own pet for adventures so if you have a busy dog who loves walks/hiking im your girl) We have an open yard, our own pup is well trained on her boundaries however for any pets not my own they stay on a 20 foot long line and walked around the property. Inside they are free to roam the house, however if needed crates are available for use. If ever unattended dogs will always be in a crate for their safety.

“I was particularly apprehensive about choosing a dog walker for my rescue dog. Molly is high anxiety, a result of her abusive history. I’d used the same dog-walker for three years, since first adopting Molly. She was a college student whose class schedule ultimately clashed with her dog-walking schedule, leaving me to find someone new. I interviewed several candidates, ultimately choosing Kala because she clearly showed an understanding of how best to interact with anxious rescue animals. Molly took to her quickly, so I’d say that Molly chose Kala! Kala has been great! She’s kind, patient, and understanding with Molly’s quirks. Molly seems to really love her, which obviously makes it easier for me when I have to be away from her. I would highly recommend Kala, particularly for those with very sensitive animals. I can’t say enough good things about her.”

“Ermelinda is truly amazing. Our skittish dog warmed up to her after the very first walk. The care instructions for our dog, Bella, was a laundry list and Ermelinda followed them to the letter. Your dogs will be in great hands with her. I highly recommend her services!”

About: I have taken care of several medium sized breeds for the past three years including labs, poodles, and beagles. I have also cared for smaller breeds like chihuahuas and Shih Tzus, as well as puppies and senior dogs. I work part time for a maximum of five hours a day so I am available to provide dogs with attention and care at home the rest of the time. :) I work part time for a maximum of five hours a day, when I am outside of work I spend most of time home. During the time I am at home I’m able to adjust your pets care according to your preference. I live in an apartment and have a small male chihuahua who gets along great with other dogs. I don’t have a restrictive environment and will happily allow your dog to rest on the couches and beds, and roam around the apartment. I don’t have a fenced yard but I can walk and take your dog potty on a leash.

About: I am athletic and have always grown up around animals. I work at a pet boarding/daycare facility that allows me to get additional experience. With that being said, I have handled several breeds including different diets. I have handled Yorkies to Mastiffs and love them all! Puppies are the show stoppers but tend to lose control at times so I am willing to work on standard obedience commands as well. I’d be more than happy to play according to the dogs ability and health. I understand how important it is that animals receive their medications and meals at a timely manner. I am available most of the week besides my few shifts at my job. I am excited to get to know your furry friends!

Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
