Suzanne and her husband took great care of our pup, even as he became ill. How much she cares is truly uncommon and so appreciated. I want to note how she even took care of our home, cleaning up after the sick pup. Maury looks forward to the next time Suzanne is coming over for a walk!

Evelyn made arrangements with me when I was in a bind and showed up early at 7:30 to walk my girl the next day. She is so easy to communicate with and treats my dog exceptional. I feel she is reliable and looks after my dog as her own. I was just impressed at how quickly she accommodated me and made my dogs day :).

About: There is nothing I love more than taking care or sweet fur babies. I’ve had personal experience taking care of dogs of any size for over 11 years. I have one small dog of my own that is old and very easy going. I currently work full time with kids with Autism. I usually work from 10-4. I prefer dogs that are crate trained and that can be left alone for a few hours. I am also available to dog walk before and after work! I have a large backyard area, however; it is not fully fenced. I make sure dogs are leashed when we hang out in the backyard!

About: Hello, my name is Emily, I am 20 years old and love animals :) I have 5 years of pet sitting experience, and working at Pawville for 3 years as a kennel attendant. I can help with pet walking and sitting. I can also help with adjacent tasks such as keeping an eye on the house, watering plants, collecting mail, bringing trash cans to the road, light chores (ex: vacuuming, sweeping, cleaning windows), etc. I have no issue cleaning up after pets, cleaning up accidents, throw up, litter boxes, etc. as long as the appropriate cleaning supplies are provided and available for me to use. I love cats and big dogs, and no issue with Pitbulls, they are a favorite of mine :) I’m currently a third year college student home for the summer and just looking for some part time work to earn some money before heading back, so my schedule is very flexible at the moment. I can crate pets if needed, I have no issues cleaning up after pets; including accidents, throw up, litter boxes, etc. as long as the necessary cleaning products are provided. I am alright with vacuuming, sweeping, and cleaning up dirty windows if needed.

Banjo absolutely loves and waits for Nicole to open the door and take him on a walk. He knows her name before she ever comes which tells me that he’s very excited about the treatment that she does in making him feel comfortable on his walks. what a peaceful feeling for a dog owner to know that their dog is that well taken care of.

About: I have taken care of animals since I was a little girl. I have some vet experience, and have house sat for many friends. I am very patient with dogs and cats. I treat any animal as my own and have personal training experience with my dog as well. I am currently working part time and have a lot of time during the week and weekends to play with your fur babies to give you a piece of mind! Unfortunately I have 3 animals at home so I am not able to have animals at home :( I love dogs and cats and want to help anyone who may not have as much time to get out with their fur babies or for those that just need a breather!

About: I have many years of experience in rescuing, sitting, and rehabbing animals from domestic to wild. I love what I do and my children (ages 11-12) have been brought up the same way. They are very knowledgeable and passionate about all animals! While in my care, you can expect individualized compassionate care! I make sure your fur baby/s have fun, feel loved, safe and blend like one of the pack! They can roam free in our fenced in back or front yard, lounge on the screened in deck or cozy up on the couches inside with many plushy dog beds throughout our home. I don't crate unless requested so roaming through the house is just what they will do. Fully supervised of course! Our home is literally their home! I can also offer to help with anxiety, trauma and or sibling rivalry at no extra cost. It’s my passion to help animals :) I have lots of energy, free time and would love to give your pet/s every moment of the day! Your baby/s will feel right at home with all the love and attention received :) When it comes to pet sitting my kids (ages 11-12) and I are a full time team and we work together to make sure your baby/s are fully supervised, entertained, and even spoiled! We have a big fenced back and front yard, a screened in deck, lounge areas throughout the house, grain free kibbles, home made treats, filtered water, plushy beds and secured home with cameras and security system. About: I offer dog walking, potty breaks, and playtime as well as house sitting. I love being outside. I have had dogs and cats all of my life and I am very responsible and compassionate. I treat all pets as if they are my family. If you have a high energy dog I can definitely handle him/her and wear him out! I can also care for cats, fish, rabbits, etc. (no snakes please!) I can bring in mail, take trash cans to and from the curb on trash days, water plants, you name it! Message me for details!! I enjoy walking dogs and letting them out to use the bathroom first thing each morning. If they require constant care I can do that or if they’re fine to do their own thing I can also leave them to that. I prefer caring for pets in the pets home. This is more comfortable for them anyways. Doggy anxiety is a real thing! And when their family is out of town, it’s best to keep them in their own comfortable environment.

About: I have been around animals since I was born. I have trained every single one of my dogs since I can remember. I love bringing dogs to dog parks or on hikes if you/ they are okay with it. Animals have always become very attached to me when they meet me so I wouldn't be able to let you or your pets down. I am always very approachable to all animals so that they don't feel as if they're at harm. I wish to treat your dog(s)/ cat(s)/ reptiles/ rodents just as I treat mine and I hope to be able to spend a lot of unforgettable time with them to gain a forever friendship. I also offer kitty services! I have a MaineCoon of my own, who is my best friend of course. My friends call me “the animal whisperer” because even the most anxious animals love and trust me. Can’t wait to cuddle your pup/kitty. I am very aware of COVID and will be sure to leave your home COVID free and clean every surface I have touched before I leave your home while also being fully vaccinated. I currently work Monday- Friday 9-5, I mostly WFH. Some times I will go into office but most likely not during my stay with your pets. As for Saturday and Sunday I can be at your service mostly full time. I am able to crate your dog if needed, and we can go on great hikes if they’d enjoy! I would take any precaution that you have while being at your house for the safety of your animals. I understand how stressful it is leaving your animal with someone else but rest assured I will communicate of any concerns (even the small ones) as that is important.

  • 99% can help with daily exercise

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
