I also watched a dog who was essentially in hospice care. I love being active and going on long walks, but I’m also happy to be a couch potato if I’ve got a furry friend keeping me company. A few years ago, I spent 6 months dogsitting in Mexico for 3 dogs rescued off the street who were not housebroken or trained when I got there but were transformed by the time I left.
