I also spent time every week on my family's farm, where I became comfortable around many different animals, including dogs, cats, horses, cows, bunnies, turtles, chickens, and ducks. About: I've got the " Mommy can I have A puppy?""experience. My daughter got a puppy when she was 5 years old for her birthday Guess who took care of it? Me. Then I took her trick or treating at 8 years old and instead of of coming back with candy, we came back home with a pit bull puppy cause this guy had a rope around his neck trying to get rid of it. Guess who took care of it? Me. Then 10 years ago she wanted another puppy. She ended up getting 2 , a sister and brother. She promised she would take care of of them and be responsible for them. About: Growing up we always had dogs and cats. I spent a lot of time with relatives who had more “exotic” pets ranging from degus to a Mali Uromastyx lizard not to mention the short-tailed opossum and various other small mammals. All this has contributed to making me an animal lover totally comfortable around them all! While still in high school I had the privilege of volunteering at a local wildlife refuge where I was responsible for the care of a wide variety of animals ranging from squirrels to owls and even foxes! During college I spent a summer working at a doggie day care center where I was responsible for both walking the dogs and supervising indoor play time. Finding a great pet/house sitter is harder than it seems. So many on Rover don't really seem to understand the meaning of house sitting. It means you actually live in the house with the fur babies not leave every 4 hours and be gone all day. Rest assured Michelle will live in your house so your anxious fur baby remains in their comfort zone and routine. I work from home so I wanted to mimic that level of human presence that out little guy has become accustomed to and she was able to provide that. Michelle took care of little chores like watering plants and feeding our fish, but most importantly she took care of our little baby with plenty of play time and constant companionship. She was very responsive over messenger even though we were in another country. And when we came home the house was perfectly clean and in order. My two big fiesty dogs are very reactive to other dogs, but Beverly handled them with no problems, taking them for a long walk, and even encountering other dogs, but keeping the situation under control. Such a relief for me! I like to walk them, but am always worried to ask others to do that. I am very glad to find someone who can do so and keep them in check. They are all bark and no bite, but other dogs and people do not know that, so it is good to know that Beverly understands how to keep everyone safe! She is upfront, honest, and calm.
