About: I’ve taken care of dogs my whole life. I love going on long walks. Will walk as long and play as long as you need me to. I am currently not working so I have all day to play with the dogs. I will walk as far as you need me to. If you need me to clean, play, walk your animal I will try my best to make your animal feel happy until you get home from work.

About: I always considered myself a "cat person," but when I was 15, my dad adopted a mini Australian Shepherd named Oscar. He was a smart, loving, albeit anxious pup, and I wanted to be with him all the time. Whenever I visited my dad, I loved helping him train and play with Oscar. That was when I really understood dogs as companion animals, and that concept alone helped me become a more patient person. When I was attending college in Rhode Island, I started caring for my friends' pets in their homes whenever they went away for a family trip. It was an awesome time for me to reset and hang out with their cats or dogs since I was unable to have a pet of my own where I was living at the time. During the Covid lockdown until around 2022, I became a live-in pet sitter for my landlady's dog and cats whenever she needed to go between properties. After that, I helped take care of my then roommate's 12-year-old Chocolate Lab and her new Visla-mix puppy after I got home from work in the evenings since she worked late. After years of caring for cats and dogs at home and loving to see my friends' pets whenever we hung out, I only learned about using Rover as a service tool in 2023. Working from home gives me flexibility and the opportunity to stay in my clients' homes while taking care of and supporting their pets full-time. My current schedule is very flexible. I'm a freelance and contract artist, and recently I've been working with the local arts council here in New Bern by hosting drawing sessions every two weeks. Most of my time is spent at home—where I help my grandparents—or at the arts council. To tell you a little more about me: I’m in my late 30s, I'm neurodivergent, and I identify as queer. In my free time I enjoy listening to music, watching animated films, and reading various types of comics. My foremost concern is making sure that you and your pet(s) feel safe with me there and that I am as consistent with their typical routine. In order for me to provide the best care I can, I only ask for a simple task list or feeding plan (either printed out or sent electronically, such as a PDF or Apple Note, etc.) on how to care for your pet and WiFi access. I do my best to be as transparent as possible in an easy, concise, and straight-forward way. Otherwise, I will happily try to accommodate any need for extra communication or photos to send you while you are away. That being said, please make note of the following: - Please do not underreport your pets. - If there is a pet that is not technically owned by you but still resides on your property, it is assumed during the booking process that you are the caretaker of that pet, as I will be responsible for taking care of that pet unless there have been other outside accommodations made. I maintain the right to adjust my rates accordingly. - If there is sufficient evidence for me to believe that any animal within your household and/or property is in need of any care beyond a bare minimum of "feeding and providing water"—especially any pets that have not been properly listed in your bio—I maintain the right to adjust my rates accordingly after our initial meet & greet. - Please divulge any and all indoor and outdoor monitoring systems in which you frequently access remotely. It is your fundamental obligation as the "homeowner," "client," or otherwise, to report any and all monitoring devices inside and outside of your home as well as the frequency with which you will access them remotely. By hiring me as an independent contractor, I maintain my right to object to any remote monitoring by any recording device used in your home while you are not present. - If you have ANY questions or concerns further about using monitoring devices, etc., I am more than happy to discuss them with you during our meet & greet!

About: I have had animals of all sizes and different personalities and energy levels. I have crate trained and fostered animals to find the right families. I always keep to a routine work then outside time and then chill at home time. I always find something productive to do throughout the day. I have a fenced in yard and a back door that leads straight to the back. Where your dog can run around as much as they would like.
About: I have been around all types of animals my whole life, especially dogs. I have house sitting experience and I have taken care of other people's animals previously just to help out. About: We are a dog family through and through. My husband and I have had dogs our whole lives. Together we have always had a dog as well. Large house with a fenced in back yard. Lots of space to run. We have a large black lab/Shepard mix that requires a lot of exercise so that is a regular thing. We both work full time but will will have weekend open to watch your pets. On the weekends we are up with our dog by 6 AM and would not leave for more than a couple hours at a time. We have a fenced in backyard and a nice area for walking the dogs. We have a 5 year old 100lb lab Shepard mix. He loves other dogs but due to his size and energy other dogs don’t always love him. Would need to do a meet and greet to make sure they would be okay

sitters on Rover set their own , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
