About: Since I was 10 I’ve had 8 dogs and would also dog sit my families pets, walk ,bathe,feed and play until it was their time to come home Im currently working part time and will be able to provide a lot of attention for your pup , im available after 7am On weekends I will provide anything necessary for you to feel your pup is safe and would gladly take any required safeties to buy for my home

About: I have had animals of all sizes and different personalities and energy levels. I have crate trained and fostered animals to find the right families. I always keep to a routine work then outside time and then chill at home time. I always find something productive to do throughout the day. I have a fenced in yard and a back door that leads straight to the back. Where your dog can run around as much as they would like.

About: I always considered myself a "cat person," but when I was 15, my dad adopted a mini Australian Shepherd named Oscar. He was a smart, loving, albeit anxious pup, and I wanted to be with him all the time. Whenever I visited my dad, I loved helping him train and play with Oscar. That was when I really understood dogs as companion animals, and that concept alone helped me become a more patient person. When I was attending college in Rhode Island, I started caring for my friends' pets in their homes whenever they went away for a family trip. It was an awesome time for me to reset and hang out with their cats or dogs since I was unable to have a pet of my own where I was living at the time. During the Covid lockdown until around 2022, I became a live-in pet sitter for my landlady's dog and cats whenever she needed to go between properties. After that, I helped take care of my then roommate's 12-year-old Chocolate Lab and her new Visla-mix puppy after I got home from work in the evenings since she worked late. After years of caring for cats and dogs at home and loving to see my friends' pets whenever we hung out, I only learned about using Rover as a service tool in 2023. Working from home gives me flexibility and the opportunity to stay in my clients' homes while taking care of and supporting their pets full-time. My current schedule is very flexible. I'm a freelance and contract artist, and recently I've been working with the local arts council here in New Bern by hosting drawing sessions every two weeks. Most of my time is spent at home—where I help my grandparents—or at the arts council. To tell you a little more about me: I’m in my late 30s, I'm neurodivergent, and I identify as queer. In my free time I enjoy listening to music, watching animated films, and reading various types of comics. My foremost concern is making sure that you and your pet(s) feel safe with me there and that I am as consistent with their typical routine. In order for me to provide the best care I can, I only ask for a simple task list or feeding plan (either printed out or sent electronically, such as a PDF or Apple Note, etc.) on how to care for your pet and WiFi access. I do my best to be as transparent as possible in an easy, concise, and straight-forward way. Otherwise, I will happily try to accommodate any need for extra communication or photos to send you while you are away. That being said, please make note of the following: - Please do not underreport your pets. - If there is a pet that is not technically owned by you but still resides on your property, it is assumed during the booking process that you are the caretaker of that pet, as I will be responsible for taking care of that pet unless there have been other outside accommodations made. I maintain the right to adjust my rates accordingly. - If there is sufficient evidence for me to believe that any animal within your household and/or property is in need of any care beyond a bare minimum of "feeding and providing water"—especially any pets that have not been properly listed in your bio—I maintain the right to adjust my rates accordingly after our initial meet & greet. - Please divulge any and all indoor and outdoor monitoring systems in which you frequently access remotely. It is your fundamental obligation as the "homeowner," "client," or otherwise, to report any and all monitoring devices inside and outside of your home as well as the frequency with which you will access them remotely. By hiring me as an independent contractor, I maintain my right to object to any remote monitoring by any recording device used in your home while you are not present. - If you have ANY questions or concerns further about using monitoring devices, etc., I am more than happy to discuss them with you during our meet & greet!

About: I have been around all types of animals my whole life, especially dogs. I have house sitting experience and I have taken care of other people's animals previously just to help out. I’ve owned rats, and I’m no stranger to scaly friends if you have those as well. I have my own dog who is my best friend! My schedule is completely open right now because I do side gigs as needed. I’m hoping to eventually make this a long term full time gig! I love all animals and pet care is one of my passions. Any animal of yours I will treat like my own! I do not want you to have worry when you are away.

About: I'm a vet assistant that's worked in a clinical setting for 5 years. I've handled all types and sizes of dogs and cats. I also know how to care for small animals and horses. I'm a pet owner of 7 critters-3 dogs and 4 cats-and will take care of your pets as if they were my own. I take care of animals at work and at home. I work in a vet clinic and take care of animals daily, manage care plans and make sure animals are handled properly in a work environment. I follow pet parents' care plans that are left with me. Outside of that, I usually follow their pets lead and take them out or interact with them as they request.

About: I have taken care of and had my own dogs and cats ever since I was a kid. I have 3 dogs of my own who are my best friends and also a cat who may as well be a 4th dog! I also have a lot of experience with horses as well as horses of my own! I work full time as a large animal vet tech Monday- Friday and also work part time on a horse farm on the weekends. I farm sit for horse people when available too! My yellow lab, hound and GSP are VERY friendly and always love company or willing to stay at your home to keep your dog as comfortable as possible and keep them in their normal routine.

About: I’ve never lived a day without an animal. My family owns 2 Great Danes and a Pit Bull Terrier. 2 of which were trained by me! I love meeting new people and new animals and want to take care of your pets like they’re my own! I currently work Sundays - Tuesday from 3-11pm and accept clients who’s pets are comfortable with being left alone during an 8 hour work shift. I want your pets to be excited when I come to check on them! I always try to devote some time to play during potty breaks and become best friends with your pups. As a Husky owner, I’m also familiar with more challenging, high-energy, and stubborn breeds.I have extensive experience caring for senior dogs, including those who are visually impaired or have medical conditions. As a stay-at-home mom, I have a very flexible schedule. I’m available on weekdays from 8am to 2pm, and again anytime after 4pm. About: I worked at a dog day care/boarding and grooming facility for 2 years as well as grown up with dogs my entire life. I’ve handled dogs of all sizes and breeds. As well as handling all kinds of different temperaments. I have 4 years of full time job experience and 2 years of part time experience. My schedule is extremely open and flexible. I am available every day during the week and I have no weekly/daily commitments that would interfere with the care you need for your pet. I have a fenced in yard as well as a dog park within 5 minutes walking distance of my house.
