About: I have experience caring for dogs of all sizes, from Great Danes to Miniature Pinschers. As a Husky owner, I’m also familiar with more challenging, high-energy, and stubborn breeds.I have extensive experience caring for senior dogs, including those who are visually impaired or have medical conditions. I’ve worked with diabetic dogs and understand the importance of maintaining a strict schedule, as well as safely administering medication, including injections. As a stay-at-home mom, I have a very flexible schedule. I’m available on weekdays from 8am to 2pm, and again anytime after 4pm. About: I always considered myself a "cat person," but when I was 15, my dad adopted a mini Australian Shepherd named Oscar. He was a smart, loving, albeit anxious pup, and I wanted to be with him all the time. Whenever I visited my dad, I loved helping him train and play with Oscar. That was when I really understood dogs as companion animals, and that concept alone helped me become a more patient person. When I was attending college in Rhode Island, I started caring for my friends' pets in their homes whenever they went away for a family trip. It was an awesome time for me to reset and hang out with their cats or dogs since I was unable to have a pet of my own where I was living at the time. During the Covid lockdown until around 2022, I became a live-in pet sitter for my landlady's dog and cats whenever she needed to go between properties. After that, I helped take care of my then roommate's 12-year-old Chocolate Lab and her new Visla-mix puppy after I got home from work in the evenings since she worked late. After years of caring for cats and dogs at home and loving to see my friends' pets whenever we hung out, I only learned about using Rover as a service tool in 2023. Working from home gives me flexibility and the opportunity to stay in my clients' homes while taking care of and supporting their pets full-time. My current schedule is very flexible. I'm a freelance and contract artist, and recently I've been working with the local arts council here in New Bern by hosting drawing sessions every two weeks. In order for me to provide the best care I can, I only ask for a simple task list or feeding plan (either printed out or sent electronically, such as a PDF or Apple Note, etc.) on how to care for your pet and WiFi access. I do my best to be as transparent as possible in an easy, concise, and straight-forward way. Otherwise, I will happily try to accommodate any need for extra communication or photos to send you while you are away. That being said, please make note of the following: - Please do not underreport your pets. - If there is a pet that is not technically owned by you but still resides on your property, it is assumed during the booking process that you are the caretaker of that pet, as I will be responsible for taking care of that pet unless there have been other outside accommodations made. I maintain the right to adjust my rates accordingly. - If there is sufficient evidence for me to believe that any animal within your household and/or property is in need of any care beyond a bare minimum of "feeding and providing water"—especially any pets that have not been properly listed in your bio—I maintain the right to adjust my rates accordingly after our initial meet & greet. - Please divulge any and all indoor and outdoor monitoring systems in which you frequently access remotely. It is your fundamental obligation as the "homeowner," "client," or otherwise, to report any and all monitoring devices inside and outside of your home as well as the frequency with which you will access them remotely. By hiring me as an independent contractor, I maintain my right to object to any remote monitoring by any recording device used in your home while you are not present. - If you have ANY questions or concerns further about using monitoring devices, etc., I am more than happy to discuss them with you during our meet & greet!

About: I have a very well happily trained service animal that helps other animals and people keeping everyone happy. My goal is to always keep the animal happy while being trained. Every walk is to bring happiness to the animal. Every drop in visit is to bring an animal a peace of mind an happiness. My hope is to always bring the owner a peace of mind along with the animal an a genuine happiness at the end of the day so that every animal and owner can feel at peace. Overnight stays I hope to just give peace at mind to Owners and animals, if there are every any concerns I will always send photos of the animals doing daily things at their usual times. I am currently in school for my bachelors and work a full time job. However, I always make time to take my pups on close to a mile walk a day. Along with 30 min of training on necessary manners and any tricks we are working on at the time. They get fed 2 times a day with appropriate vitamins and supplements for each of my animals! I always check with owners about any toys that they have along with any children toys in the home that I need to be aware of or smaller items they could choke on or get into.

sitters on Rover set their own , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
