I’ve been around animals my whole life and have about 7 years of experience caring for pets of all kinds — mostly dogs and cats, but other animals too. I’m comfortable with everything from playful puppies to older pets who just need a little extra patience and love. What makes me different is that I really do treat every pet like they’re my own. I know how important it is to trust the person watching your animals, so I always keep you updated and make sure your pets feel safe, happy, and cared for while you’re away. Whether it’s walks, playtime, snuggles, or sticking to a routine, I’ll give your pets the same love and attention they’re used to at home.

As a pet parent myself (I have two dogs and a cat), I know how important it is to feel confident that your pets are safe and cared for while you’re away. When I care for pets in their own home, I stick to their normal routine — feeding, walks, playtime — so they feel comfortable and secure. I always double-check leashes, gates, and doors for safety, and I stay alert on walks to avoid unsafe situations. I also send updates and pictures so you never have to wonder how your pets are doing. My goal is simple: for you to have peace of mind, and for your pets to feel loved, happy, and safe.

Summer is the GO TO in our area for animal advice and care. She worked for years managing a pet shop,l and it shows. She has knowledge of the most common household pets, as well as some uncommon birds, reptiles, spiders, and aquatic species. She has the composure of a natural nurturer and animals tend to gravitate towards her when she enters a space. At home, She cares for two large dogs, a cat, a flock of 19 chickens, a green cheek conure, and a bearded dragon.
Summer is amazing! She has years or pet care experience whether scaly, furry, fined, or creepy crawleys; shes worked with it. She loves all animals and cares for them as though they were here own.

Right now, I’m focused on school, so I have plenty of free time for pet care. My college schedule is flexible, which means I can easily fit in morning, afternoon, or evening walks and drop-in visits. Since I’m not working another job, I can give your pets the extra attention and consistency they deserve. Whether it’s a daily walk, playtime, or sticking to feeding schedules, I’ll make sure they feel cared for and happy while you’re away.

- Before caring for your pets, I like to know about their daily routine, any special needs, and what they’re most comfortable with. Things like feeding schedules, favorite activities, and how they do on walks are all super helpful. It’s also important to know if they have any health issues, medications, or quirks (like being nervous around other dogs, or if they’re escape artists at the door). The more I know, the better I can make sure they feel safe, happy, and cared for.
