“Laura watched my four year old foxhound, Piper over Spring Break. Piper was homesick at first but Laura took special care to help her get adjusted. (She sent me pictures of my 45 lb dog sitting on her lap!) Laura was very communicative sending daily texts, photos, and videos. Piper looked so cute in her St. Patty’s Day scarf she provided. The dogs were very relaxed and were having a good time. Also, her house is away from a busy road for dog walk safety. Laura even made the extra effort to wash Piper’s dog bed before she went home. About: Boarding: Dogs must be crate trained and vaccinations up to date. Must be kid friendly and do well with large dogs. I have a large, shaded back yard where we can play with toys or fetch. Walk around the quiet neighborhood or take a nap and cuddle. I have an active golden doodle who can’t wait to have a play buddy. I will happily take your dog on walks, play their favorite game and keep a structured routine if needed. Administer topical, injection or oral meds. Meet and greets preferred prior to care. I am currently working from home and have a large shaded yard. Which means potty breaks and outside play and relax time are always available. I will make sure your pets schedule is followed so you can be sure your pet will have fun and be cared for while you are away. My home is doggie safe. Minimalistic feel with little to no clutter. Space for your dog to stretch out and relax. Separate room with crate for sleep and/or alone time if needed. If I leave the house crate trained dogs can safely stay in crate with water and food. Feedings can be done separate if needed. Please bring leash, water and food bowl, and favorite treats. Do not bring toys because they will be enjoyed and destroyed by my dog.
